"My lady!" The woman shouted while attempting to move her away from the window.
Adara shifted her gaze from her mother to the woman beside her who so desperately tried to gain her attention.
The little girl glared at the woman before making her way to the door.
The woman was about to grab the little girl when she heard the wails of Olympia from inside the room grow with each passing second that Adara made towards the door.
~~~With Olympia~~~
"She's trying to get inside"
"Don't you think I know that!?"
"You have to fight it"
"Shut up!"
"Fight it"
"I told you to shut up!"
At this point Olympia was almost ripping her hair out of her scalp. She dug her fingers into her head so hard that a runny red liquid began to trickle down. Her eyesight began to blur slightly and her breathing was restricted to an alarming amount.
Just when she thought that the pain was too much for her she then snapped open her eyes to see the four people she despised the most in this world. They were all standing there with tired and guilty looks on their faces.
"Fight it!"
"Enough!"
"Fight it!"
"Enough, please!"
"Fight her!"
She began to slam her fists into the floor below her. The amount of energy she was using to keep focused on trying to gain control was taking a toll on her mental strength as well as physical.
She began to shake. She was fuming, quite literally.
"We were too tired"
"No!"
"We're sorry we didn't tell you sooner"
"Cowards!"
"You, my dear, are the Pillar of death."
It was as if that last sentence spoken by the former Pillar of deceit made something in her snap.
"I'm sorry for doing this"
"No your not."
"......"
"You're right."
The thick, deathly black mist covered every inch of the room. So much so that the glass began to break, the pressure was too much which shocked the woman.
This room was built by Olympia to make sure that she would stay contained and yet here it was, windows cracking and walls crumbling.
Was this the true extent of the Pillars? The answer? Not in the slightest.
Adara paused with her hand hovering over the doorknob. She began to shake as the feeling of electricity shot through her body like lightning tearing through the invisible air.
The woman looked at Adara who stood there in a paralyzed state, her face contorting to one of slight fear and relief. The woman noticed that Adara's eyes had turned to their normal black color.
She sighed in relief but was short lived when she looked back inside the room to see that through the clearing black mist, Olympia had vanished.
"Looking for someone dear?" A velvety voice purred from behind them, sending shivers down everyone's spines.
All those present in the room hadn't even noticed when exactly Olympia had escaped.
The woman turned around in horror as she came face to face with a smiling Pillar.
"Chill I'm not gonna hurt you guys. Not if you stay out of my way at least." Olympia snickered, lifting her hand to cover her mouth in a posh manner.
"Mommy?" Adara forced out, fear lacing every inch of her body.
"Don't worry dear, I won't hurt you. I will however deal with them. Please do not fret, I'll be back in a few!"
Olympia lifted her index finger to her mouth, closing her right eye in a wink before dissapearing in an instant.
Those who were in the room shook their heads, pushing away their shock and rushing out of the room.
"Somethings wrong" Aunt Rose stated, a worried look on her features.
"What do you mean?" Terrence questioned. Aunt rose shook her head.
"I don't know what it is but something isn't right."
"Yeah, it's like she was possessed by someone else. That wasn't her that's for sure" Ross declared, crossing his arms over his chest.
Aunt Rose shook her head at his statement.
"Wrong. That, my dear, isn't someone else. That was her in her natural comfort zone. Who she is with all of us is someone else. Don't get it twisted."
They all stood there for a few minutes thinking about what could possibly have gone wrong when they saw Olympia casually walking inside the house with her hands in a relaxed position behind her head.
"Mommy!" Adara shouted, charging at Olympia at full speed. The young Pillar chuckled as she knelt down and opened her arms for her daughter.
The rest of the group were relieved that she had returned but were stopped dead in their tracks when they saw her mouth seeping out blood.
"My God what happened Olympia!?" Aunt rose shrieked as she rushed to Olympia's side and inspected her face.
"I'm fine, just overdid it a little, it's nothing to worry about. Now if you will excuse me, I would like some time to myself."
Her cold voice sent shivers down her aunts spine as did her icy glare. She turned to her daughter and sighed softly, patting her head and getting up. Adara clung to her mother's side but Olympia knew that if she wanted Adara as well as everyone safe, she would have to be alone.
Olympia shook her head at her daughter, using her advantage in overtaking her fight or flight responses and making Adara stay put.
"Where are you going? Are you alright?" Ross asked, grabbing onto Olympia's wrist as she tried to pass him and his sisters.
Olympia yanked her hand out of his grasp. Her face stern and her eyes as empty and emotionless as the infinite void of death.
"I won't tell you lot twice" was all Olympia spat out before making her way to her room and closing the door softly.
"Miss Rose!" A man called in a small state of panic, rushing to the group from the living space. May turned around and asked the man what he was so frantic about.
~Possible TW please feel free to skip if you want. I will give a summary about this at the end of the chapter for those who wish to know what happened.~
"The news! Come watch!" He shouted, leading everyone to the living room where the television sat. They watched and watched until a big announcement was aired on the news about two scientists suddenly dissapearing two hours ago before being found dead on the other side of town in a ditch near a river.
The news said that the autopsy conducted on the two bodies showed no signs of physical violence or any sort of mental health problems. No drug intake nor any malnutrition of any sorts and no struggle. An investigation was run about the two scientists and nothing was found that could lead to it being a suicide nor was there any DNA of another person on the two bodies.
Security cameras that caught the two bodies saw how they were going about their everyday lives, going to their vehicles after work to go home and that's when they dissapeared from the public eye. It was said that thier homes were in private areas so they searched the security cameras there and found that both of them, at the same time walked out of their houses as if they were going to take a walk.
After they were out of sight from the cameras that's when they dissapeared. There was no sign of any heart attack either so they deemed their death as what it was, a mystery.
~TW over!~
Adara stood there frozen in place, her hands slightly shaking and her breathing picking up its pace a bit.
"Is something wrong my lady?" The man asked, crouching down to her level and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Those were the bad people Mommy saved me from" She stated, shock evident in both her words and face as she pointed to the screen.
Their breaths hitched. Adara began to sob but not in anger. She was scared, yes, but relieved at the same time. Scared because she didn't know if this was the true extent of her mother's remarkable power and relief that she now knew that the people who hurt her before would never be able to again.
She smiled right after because once again, her mother, even through her dark personality and ways of doing things, saved her again. She knew she could sleep soundly now that those people would never harm her again.
That was what her nightmares consisted of, the two taking her away from her mother and torturing her like they did before.
She was no longer in any form of danger from those two horrible people.
"Thank you mommy!" The young girl shouted in glee inside her head as her smile continued to grow.
Okay summary time!!!!
So when Olympia left she tracked their location. She's the Pillar of death, what can't she do?
Olympia: .....die.
😐😐😐 anyway!!! So when she found them she perched herself on a tree and controlled them. Being as she has Rosannes power she can inflict pain of any kind to anyone she wishes and she did just that. She drove them to their demise while their brains were still conscious of what they were doing so as to halt any sudden suspicions of it being Olympia herself.
I apologize if I made Olympia too OP but that is the reason I made her state that only Grandmasters have to power to actually kill her in a fight however she can also die from injuries from anything that can put a human life in danger even of she were to come back to life after. Another weakness of hers is her powers themselves. If she were to use a large amount of her power, which mind you is next to infinite, she will become weaker. I hope that these weaknesses are valid enough for the Pentagon.
Now if she were to die then her body takes however long it will take to recover fully, like a coma of sorts. I wanted to have some area where Olympia can be mortal in a sense so hopefully that makes things a little more enjoyable.
Thank you guys so much for even considering to look at my story. Have an amazing rest of your day and please stay safe and healthy.
