"Lovely! Lovely." Frankee comes in nearly sweating and shaking.
"Frankee, are you okay?"
He stands there just quiet and looking afraid.
"Okay, you're drunk or something. Frankee I'm tired. The crowd wore me out. I need rest. Tomorrow is a big day"
"Please sit." He says afraid now making me annoyed
"Tell me now. What! Fine, goodnight!" I say walking to my bed
"Michael was in a car accident. He's in the hospital!" He screams out suddenly
My heart dropped and my life nearly flashed before my eyes.
"What!!! How, is he okay, please tell me he's okay?" I cry out and nearly fall to the floor
"Mom spoke to Ms.Katy and they're at the hospital. Come on. The private jet should be ready." He says picking me up and running out the room to fetch the plane.
I find myself passing out and getting hot. When I came to Frankee and my tour assistant was fanning me.
I said a silent prayer and had the most insane conversation with God the entire car ride.
I cried the entire ride over to the hospital once we landed. Like balled my eyes out so much I could not think.
We pulled up to the hospital in the back but the entire place was surrounded by fans. Police and news everywhere. They rush me inside and I'm shaking. I wipe my tears and run into the unit and see him...
He's okay. I let out a deep breath I didn't realize I was holding and run to hug Ma Katy. I hug her so tight I thought I was hurting her.
"He's okay" she whispers while crying
I nodded thanking the heavens and she leads me into the room.
In a daze, I rush over and grab michaels hand. He's asleep and I swear he looks so peaceful.
"I'll be out here if you need me"
Ma Katy says in her angelic voice like MJ
I turn around with tears in my eyes, trying to sniff them away...
"Thank you"
I sit in the chair next to MJ never letting his hand go. I kiss his hand and feel it with my face so he knows it's me.
"I love you" I say while crying and shaking... I exhale and lay my head on the bed...next thing I know I wake up to hear the doctor talking to MJ, Joseph, Ma Katy, LaToya and Bill.
I look up and everyone looks at me. I turn to MJ and he looks at me. We connect eyes and my heart starts to feel like it finally beating again. At that moment MJ squeezes me hand and his eyes start to water.
The doctor wraps up telling us that MJ will be okay. He just needs more rest and intense massages to take his body out of shock.
"Okay, let's give the two love birds a moment" Joseph teases and they all walk out the room
"Why didn't you wake me?"
"You were sleeping so good. Even snoring."
Typical MJ, he's always thinking of me even when it's about him
"I was not" I say wiping my wet face and trying to smile.
MJ grabs me to get closer to him. I get up on the bed and lay my head on the side of his chest.
"I almost lost it. The thought of you leaving me on this earth alone, I freaked" I confess
"I wasn't leaving you that easily. My mission here isn't complete."
"..." I burst out crying and I put my hand on my face to hide my tears and snotty nose
"Look at me"
I look up and his eyes capture me all over again...I swear when I looked at him..all our memories came back to me and I knew I truly love him
"I love you" he says never breaking eye contact
"I love you, too"
I kiss him and and breathe him in. So grateful he's okay.
I laugh...
"What is it? Is it the hair wrap?" He laughs
"No. Your fans are outside going crazy. Please put them at ease. You know they are frantic."
"I'm sure the team is on it. Hey, Liza"
"Yes?"
"I never meant to hurt you. Ever"
"I know. Michael-"
"Michael?"
"MJ-I've forgiven you and I want to be with you. I'm just not sure how." I look down
"Can we try?"
"Of course. As far as I'm concerned, you're mine always"
"Always" he shoots back "thank you...for being here"
"I wouldn't be anywhere else. I'm not leaving. Sit back. Relax. I'm gonna grab the nurse to see about discharging you. And I'll have an aid team set up at Hayvenhurst. I gotta go home to grab some things. Oh- I'll send Frankee.."
"Lo-calm down. We got this. I'll be okay. Let's take a nap. I'm exhausted"
He hasn't called me Lo in a long time and I love it.
"Okay...MJ..."
"Yes" he says rubbing my back.
"Stop farting"
He bust out laughing and we watch the repeats of Different Strokes on the tv and I drift off...feeling the most peace I've felt in months.

Wait, they finally said I LOVE YOU to one another. Awww. Sometimes it takes thinking you can lose someone to bring you together.
