AVA POV
I woke up from a sweet caress at my cheek followed by a familiar voice.
"Love, wake up, we're here now." He said huskily, while helping me get on my sit. I looked around and noticed that we're already in front of our Pack house. Soon, his parents together with Ruri, Cole and Nath burst out of the front door. I moved my body to get out from the vehicle but Zander beat me. He abruptly hold my wrists.
"Stay!" He firmly said, as if his command affect me and in one fluid movement he's in front of my door, and lift my body to get me out of the car.
"ZANDER! I am just pregnant not crippled, so put me down!" I snapped at him, as I don't like being carried like a baby. I tried to wiggle and pleads but all my attempt was futile and he seemed amused and pretend that he didn't hear anything.
"Sorry Love, but that, does not apply on me." He smirked and in just few pace we're inside the house, with people in tow. I saw over Zander's shoulder that Olivia is giggling along with Cole.
"This is embarassment Zander, can you put me down here?" Pointed at our living room's floor. He looked around then lay me on the couch carefully.
"Welcome back Dear, are you injured?" Audrey asked while checking my body, I shook my head to tell her that I am alright and Zander is just being paranoid. After few chit chat, she told me that she will make some food for us.
Zander, his Father and Cole starts talking, I guessed could be pack's matter. Nathalie and Olivia take their seats while having a conversation,while Ruri clung onto my waist.
"Yuna, I miss you so so much." She said while starting to play my hair, it makes me happy to hear her soft and sweet voice.
"I missed you too, how's the school?" I pinched her chubby cheeks, noticed how she gained some weight.
"It's so cool, I have new fwends now and know how to read fawy tale." I chuckled as how she cannot pronounced correctly some words, and I find it cute. Soon, Nathalie approached and greet me and then take her leave.
"Hey, Olive, would you like to stay here? We have some spare room for you and your Uncle." I glanced at her, noticed how she become more beautiful, happiness maybe because of her mate.
"I think I would love to, but I need to check with Uncle if he likes." She looked at Ruri who's still sitting beside me.
"Hey, Ruri I have someone that I want you to meet, she's my bestfriend." I said in soft voice, she tilted her small head towards Olivia and walk towards her.
"Hi, I'm Olivia, what's your Name?" Olive offers her hand which Ruri gladly accepts.
"Hello, I am Ruri, are you a princess?"And then bow her head, confusing us.
"W-what?" Both me and Olivia exclaimed.
"She's a princess, Yuna, my wolf said." She said while looking at Olivia intently.
"What? Did you mean your wolf can recognize her wolf?" I asked her softly, tried to treat this scenario as normal conversation, because how come she could know who she is? She's just a child.
But the child just shrugged it.
"How she has a wolf is beyond my imagination, only royal blood can meet their wolf at early age." Olivia explained not leaving her gaze at Ruri.
"If would be better if go in our room now so that you can get some rest and then we will talk about this later." Zander tune in, he might eavesdropping our conversation, as he took Ruri from the floor and carried her while holding my hand, I glanced at Olivia who still have a perplexed look. We led Olivia first to her room, which was beside Luke's previous room. I told her that she can mindlink me if she needs anything, then we proceed to our room. Zander put down Ruri on our couch, when suddenly she touched my tummy.
"Yuna, you will have a baby girl and baby boy." My eyes widen from what she said, Zander automatically guide me to sit and we both looked at her. How could she know?
"Ruri, are you telling us that we will having a twin?" I asked while holding my flat stomach.
"Yes." She said while looking at me.
"But how did you know?" Zander said while frowning his forehead.
"My wolf knows Awpha." She said in calm manner, I looked up at Zander as if telling him what's the meaning of that.
"I-I don't know Love, it's first time for me also to hear that, and the things is I can't talk to her wolf as she's still not part of our pack."
"Yeah, anyway, is it okay if Ruri and I will go to Olivia? I want to talk to her." Zander closed his eyes while rubbing his neck, but when he opened he sighed and nod his head.
"Ok, but don't take long, I need you." And then kissed me in my forehead. I grabbed Ruri's hand and we immediately exit our room.
We knock few times at Olivia's door before she open it, she just finished her shower and she looked fresh.
"Hey, are you busy? We want to spend some time here if you don't mind." I smile at her, as she opened wide her door.
"Ofcourse, come inside, oh and you bring Ruri with you, nice to see you again little one." She touched Ruri's red cheeks and grabbed her hand towards her bed.
"Olivia, I have something to tell you, I think Ruri is quite special, she informed me and Zander that we will having a twin, a boy and a girl, and I don't know how can she do it, do you have any idea?" Maybe she read some book in regards with Ruri's ability,
"Really? Well, It's nice to hear that Ava but unfortunately I never read any books which associates with her, but maybe Uncle Matt can!" Right, my Uncle might be, but he's in the castle and I can't bring her with us, it is dangerous.
"Problem is we can't bring her with us, maybe after we finish our task we can invite Uncle here and then we can ask him." Both of us agreed.
"So, Ruri, does it mean Luna's baby will be white wolf?" Ofcourse, but I think Olivia just want to test more Ruri's ability.
"Yes, an Awpha and A very very powerful white wolf, you have to protect them Yuna." I gasped at what she said, how does this 6-year old little girl knows that!
"Ruri, you know, you make me really confuse and scared, what do you mean I have to protect them, who will harm them?"
"I can't tell Yuna, my wolf said just be careful." Thinking that I can't have clear answer from her, I just looked at Olivia who currently in deep thoughts.
"Ava, did you know who is her parents?" She asked all of the sudden. I shook my head before picking up Ruri's body over my lap.
"No, we tried to look for them but Ruri doesn't have any records and when we check each pack that surrounded us, they said that they don't have missing child of her age. What I remember was, when I found her, she told me that her parents left her and said that they will come back but they never did." I explained.
"I have the feeling that she's adopted." Olivia whispered not letting the child to hear us. I thought about that before but I can't say that to her, I don't want her to be sad.
"Actually I told Zander that if we didn't find her parents, we agreed that we will adopt her. I felt so attached to her evesince I saved her, and I can't let her go." She nods her head to me. I run my hand on Ruri's hair to let her sleep on my lap while talking to Olivia.
"Anyway, how are you and Luke, have you decided when you will come to his pack?" She glanced at me while fidgetting her finger.
"I don't know, be told me his Uncle were already there when he arrived, and I need to discuss this to my Uncle, I can't leave him, he's like a father to me and I don't know if he likes to stay at Dark Moon." I looked at her worried face, that might be problem if Jake don't like to come with her at Dark moon.
"Olive, I think it is much better if you talk to Jake first, he will understand you, and I think it will takes time before Luke bring you to his pack, as long as his Uncle is there, that monster can hurt you." I said thru gritted teeth.
"Yeah, I just hope that everything turn out to be okay. I really want to finish this once and for all." I gave her my nod of acknowledgement.
"Me too, Olivia, me yoo. By the way, we have to get our dress for the ball. My mother-in-law can help us." Hey eyes shines as if I solved her problem.
"Oh, nice to hear that Ava, because I really don't have idea where I will get those dress, you know, I never attend any ball party."
"Me also, Olive, that's why we need Audrey for this. Tomorrow we will meet her and asked for her help."
We spend another hour just talking about anything, something about our mates and what we like for our dress to be. We avoid talking about our mission as it cause us only negative vibes and we don't like to feel nervous.
For now, we have to be happy and worry-free.
Soon, Zander mindlink me, and asked if we're done in our girl talk as he called it. I told him yes but I need him because Ruri is asleep, and he told me not to move. Not a few minutes he came and lift Ruri's small body and we both say goodnight at Olivia.
We went to Ruri's room and tucked her under her blanket and we kissed her forehead. I noticed that Zander is quite fond of her and I am happy about that, and with her abilities, it might be better if we're the one who will be her guardian for her safety.
We spend our night having a dinner with his parents, with Olivia and Jake. As time goes by, dinner end, and we said goodnight to each other.
Me and Zander have a little chit-chat about our future babies, telling him my feelings and worries, lucky for me he promised that he will there for me and assure me that nothing bad will ever happen to me and our pups.
