Before you get to reading, there are some important details to inform you lovely readers of.
I also just want to say thank you so much for picking this book! I do hope you enjoy it and will do my best to make it as entertaining as possible. If you are here from either or both of my other two books Isn't He Lovely and/or Thick and Thin, welcome back beautiful!
Alrighty, now for the precursors...
1) This story will be focused around the main character Matilda Matlock, obviously. But I wanted to make it clear that it is a story twisting the original Harry Potter (still using all the same characters) into a new idea: the Chosen One not being Harry at all!
2) This book will contain mature content at times. It won't be entirely focused on things like that, I'd rather it be around Matilda. But it is also a story of romance, drama, and things like that. It's got it all, I'd say.
3) All credit to the original HP characters in this book goes to J.K. Rowling.
4) Please be respectful in the comments section! I love comments but don't like the ones that are disrespecting others, my work, or myself. Thank you!
5) IMPORTANT DETAIL: For the purposes of this story, Hogwarts will actually begin at age fourteen (attend from age 13/14-17). Think of it through high school years: you attend high school for four years. I actually kind of like this new twist, but it's also just crucial to the story. Thus, a first year = 14 years old, second year = 15, and so on.
6) IMPORTANT DETAIL: Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley will be in the same year as Matilda, Harry, and the others you're thinking of. OLIVER WOOD WILL BE ONLY ONE YEAR ABOVE MATILDA AND THE OTHERS! :)
7) I'm not going to spill any details on which character will be the romantic interest, because... there isn't just one. That's all I'm going to say :)
8) And lastly, just know that there will be details in this book that will be a bit twisted to make the story more interesting. This could be with certain characters, with plot points, or with anything else. You'll see an early one having to do with an original character's house that I wanted to change up. :)
