Sam's POV.
"Holy shit, Kai, you can't drive. Did you bribe the D.M.V. for that licence?!" I yelled as Kai and I came to a screeching halt in the clubs parking lot.
"Suck it up, at least I'm not wearing Skechers," he returned.
"They're light and durable...." I muttered as we both exited the car. We both emerged from either side of the car and walked together, arm in arm.
"Don't fuck this up, Sam."
"Fine, fine."
We joined the line to get inside of the club. There was a loud growl then a girl in the distance stomped off with "Reject" written on her forehead.
"Poor girl," I said.
"Tough luck. Anyways, why is this line so damn long, we've been standing here for fifteen minutes."
A woman with a bored look on her face passed books around. "This is going to take a while so, read I guess," She threw a book at Kai, "Especially you, you look like a stripper."
She handed me a book and I flipped it over to look at the synopsis.
Synopsis: In a dystopian land where you never see an Asian and the black people surprisingly work in agriculture, twelve districts send children to fight in a game of killing, violence, and kissing scenes that shouldn't even happen, only two will be crowned victor and their names are Katniss The Girl That's Supposed To Be A Badass But Only Kills One Person Everdeen and Peeta Bread- I mean, Mellark. Btw, this is a rip off of Battle Royale. The Hunger Games.
"Meh, sounds good to me good to me," I mumbled.
"Who did that bitch think she was talking to," Kai gritted his teeth. "Just because I look fabulous-"
"Cough, stripper, couch," I interrupted.
"As I was saying," Kai started again, "Just because I look fabulous and she looks like a retired librarian doesn't mean she has to hate." The line finally started to move up.
"Welcome to club Fuscia," A man with a bright smile greeted us, Kai and I turned in to the club but I was stopped. "Ahem," the man said looking at my shoes. "Are those Skechers?"
"... Yes..." I replied.
"Take those off, now." He handed me a coral coloured pair of flats. "Wear these for the sake of God."
I took the flats from him and entered the club. Dark purple and pink lights were everywhere, flashing over the partying people as Uptown Funk played in the background. While I was trying to find my way to the bathroom, I could already hear Kai ordering a drink and making his way to V.I.P. There's a line for everything in this club, I thought. I just wanted to change my shoes before anyone else noticed my Skechers.
"L O L, THIS BITCH," I heard someone yell. "SKECHERS? REALLY?" Everyone turned to me and the whole club burst out laughing. Even the girls holding their short skirts to stop themselves from peeing were laughing in hysteria.
"What's so wrong with Skechers, damnit," I began, "They're light and durable and-"
"Ugly," Someone said.
"Hey!" Kai yelled, "Leave my sister and her ugly ass Skechers alone." Two guards approached us and dragged us out of the club. The same woman with the bored look on her face came out of the club and looked at Kai and I. "I heard that "old librarian" comment from earlier. Serves you right, here's two free extra copies," She threw two books at us and disappeared back into the club.
So much for club Fuscia.

OH MY GOD, GUYS. CHAPTER TWO IS FINALLY DONE AND I'M SO EXCITED FOR WEDNESDAY (ALLIE). Kai's was fabulous, wasn't it? I'm so excited for this book this book and I can't wait for upcoming chapters.
