As we were making our way to Evie's, Harry stopped me, since we were a bit behind the group.
"Hey, Bryce," Harry cleared his throat. "Thanks for saving me. Gorgeous face." He winked at me and walked away, following the group.
Carlos blinked at him, "Did he just flirt with you? Again? In front of me? Again?"
I laughed at him, "I think he did," I kissed Carlos on the lips before we followed the group.

Once we made it to Evie's castle, Ben and Mal ran straight into each other's arms. They both made sure they were okay. Gross but cute at the same time.
"Okay, so, we all think that Audrey could be at Fairy Cottage," Mal told us boys.
Oh, yeah. Where Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather hid Audrey's mom from Mal's mom. Yeah... Awkward.
"We have no idea where it is. Did she ever take you there?" Mal asked, looking at me and Ben.
"Every Fairy Godmother's day," I told the group.
"Where is Fairy Godmother when you need her?" Ben asked, looking at Jane.
"I wish I knew," Jane said, sadly.
"What should we do?" Evie asked us.
"Doug! Go with Jane," Ben ordered as he walked over to Doug, "Try and find Fairy Godmother."
"They might need some muscle," Uma cuts in.
"Hey," Doug said, offended.
"Well, I'll go," Gil volunteered.
"Yeah, actually, I would feel better," Ethan cuts in.
"Yeah, actually, I'd feel better, too," Evie added.
"Same," Mal added.
"Actually, I would too," Doug confessed.
"Alright, man. Let's do this," Gil grinned as he wrapped an arm around Doug's shoulder, "Let's go, Jane."
"Okay," Jane whispered as stood up from her chair.
"Be careful, okay?" Ethan told Jane.
"I will," Jane told Ethan before walking away and following Doug and Gil.
I felt someone put their arm around my shoulder, "Are you okay?" Carlos asked me.
I looked over to him, "Yeah, I think so," I whispered. Carlos smiled at me before he pecked my lips before leading me to Evie's castle.

After it got dark outside, Ben led the way to the Fairy Cottage, while everyone else followed. We tried to be as quiet as possible because there was a possibility that Audrey could kill all of us just by using Maleficent's scepter. Ben then quickly opened the front door of the cottage as we all went inside... to find an empty cottage. Jay quickly ran upstairs to check the second floor.
He quickly went down the stairs, "She's not upstairs," He informed us.
Then suddenly there was a banging noise coming from the closet causing everyone to all whirl around in shock to look at the closet. I looked through the window on the door before I opened it to reveal Chad sitting on the ground, scared, terrified.
Wow, jerk-face Chad is now sitting on the ground, scared and terrified.
"Chad?" I asked, in shock.
"I want my mommy," Chad cried out. I reached down to help him but he flinched back, scared, "No!"
"It's okay," I whispered before slowly helping Chad stand up.
"What happened, buddy?" I asked Chad as he hesitantly looked around the room.
"Huh," Chad said as he stood up straight, "Bryce. Bryce! Your face. She's gone? Huh? And the door's open. I'm free. Oh! Freedom!" Chad shouted before running out of the cottage as Harry and Ethan laughed before we all went outside.
"Oh. Alright. Let's get this Audrey chick taken care of already," Uma said as we all walked outside, "What do you say, girl? Time to wrap things up?" Uma asked Mal as they shared a smile and a fist bump.
"You know, someday, you're gonna have to tell me how you guys got teamed up," Ben told us as he wrapped an arm around Mal.
"Actually, Mal promised to let all the kids off the Isle once this is over," Evie said, proudly as I smiled.
"Mal?" Ben asked, confused? as Mal came to a stop and turned to face everyone.
"I have to tell you guys something," Mal blurted out as she hesitantly looked at everyone, "Um... I lied. The kids won't be coming off the Isle." My smile faded away. What does she mean by that?
"What do you mean?" Jay asked Mal, confused.
"The program is shut down," Mal told us, sadly, "And the barrier... will be closed for good." Carlos and I looked at each other, confused.
The fuck?!
"For Auradon's safety," Ben muttered.
"Hold up," Uma cuts in as she walks over to stand in front of Mal, "So, we're saving your precious people and your behinds for a lie. I knew it was a mistake to trust you. You're always out for yourself."
Me and Ethan glanced at each other, thinking this HAS to be some kind of a JOKE.
"And you, King Benny..." Harry said, angrily as he walked over to Ben. His face softened, "You're probably just gonna throw us all back inside."
"You know what?" Celia said, tears threatening down her face, as she walked over to Mal, "I actually thought you were brave. You're nothing but a chicken. Too scared to tell me I was never gonna see my dad again."
"Celia," Mal said, sadly. Suddenly Celia grabbed the ember from Mal's hand, "Celia. Celia, No!" Mal screamed as I gasped, softly when Celia threw the ember into the water fountain, "No! No!" Mal quickly took the ember out of the fountain as Celia walked off, "Regain your might and ignite! No... Regain your might and ignite!" Mal looked at Uma, helpless.
"Bummer," Uma said, flatly as she looked down at her necklace that wasn't glowing anymore, "Let's go find Gil and leave them all to rot," Uma told Harry.
"No!" Mal whispered as Uma and Harry walked off, "Uh...Uma!" Mal called after them but they ignored her and walked away. Mal turned around, "Evie..." Mal said, sadly as Evie walked over to her, "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I just... I thought that... I was afraid to tell you. I thought I was gonna lose my best friend," Mal continued, "But I had to do something. I had to protect Auradon."
"Closing the barrier was your idea?" Evie asked, trying to hold back the tears in her eyes.
"I did it for us," Mal told Evie, "I did it for our life that we have over here now."
"For our life?" Evie asked, angrily, "What about the kids that we left behind on that island? The kids that we promised? We were their only hope. I thought you were gonna stand up for the Vk's but instead, you lied to them. And you lied to Jay," Evie pointed back at Jay, "And you lied to Carlos," Evie pointed back at Carlos, "And you lied to Bryce," Evie pointed at Me, "And you lied to Ethan," Evie pointed at Ethan "And you lied to me," Evie's voice broke as she pointed to herself, "We're your family."
"Evie," Mal said, sadly, her eyes filled with water, as Evie backed away from Mal, towards the others, "Evie, come on. I had no choice!"
And that was the last thing I heard before I apparently turned to stone.

I felt myself unfreeze. I checked myself and looked up to Ben, Jay, Evie, Carlos, and Ethan looking at each other confused.
"Come on," Ben said as we followed him.
"You okay?" Carlos asked me as he put a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah," I nodded.
What the fuck happened?
