Dwayne POV

"Glad fi see you back in a the place enuh me G," a middle-aged man chuckled as we knocked fist,

"Cool no elder," I smiled,

"Feels good to be back," I wasn't pleased with having some many persons in my home and my mothers knew that.

I understand how she felt. Because the last time we saw each other I was trembling in her arms with blood splattered all over my shirt. A lot of things went down that night, police raided the area in unmarked vehicles and we thought it was men from Lease land. I lost a lot of good men that night, some died, some left the parish, but I left the country... I had to, or else I would have been killed too. But there is nothing for me in America, the way how I know how to make money in Jamaica doesn't work there, every man to themselves and every man was protected. But it didn't take long for me to learn the secrets of the land, if you to make money, you have two choices, be a pimp... or a drugs cartel, and I made my choice. No longer was I the young fool who craved blood and vengeance, now I want more money... lots more. After a few years, I earned my spot in the business, I was running the biggest drugs ring in New York, I finished the house, added on to it, and I am now looking to open a couple of businesses out here, starting with a charity event next week. A man might I am a fool for returning to Jamaica, but I have already conquered a few states now I need a whole island for myself. At the end of the day, the prime minister cant run thing like how I can, I am from the streets, I know how to bring peace,

"Bloodclaat," I heard a voice behind me, "The man deep in meditation eno,"

Gunbag.

"Bumboclaat," I laughed, knocking our fists together, "Dwag you not even know how me happy fi see you,"

And I was happy to see him, it had been a long time... years.

"News gets around enuh," Gun bag laughed, my eyes landed on the backpack on his back,

"Somethings no change eh?" my mind drifted in memories, remembering times he would transport weapons for me.

"No man..." he laughed, "CD me sell now,"

"How life?" I fold my hands looking at him,

"Well..." he looked around, probably remembering the house from before, "Life alright... no as nice as this, but... me govan,"

Saying nothing I smirked, knowing the changes that were about to happen, and I want to Gunbag to rule alongside me,

"No worry you self, me and you a go fi a drive later,"

Nodding, Gunbag's eyes shifted, mine followed as well.

Looking around, giggling with a group of girls. Among them was a light skinned girl, her face was filled with irritating acnes, but still, she was... alright.

"A who that?" I whispered as my eyes traveled all over her body, adoring how her tights exposed the right things, "The browning..." I mumbled, know that is not even her real complexion,

"You no member deh gyal deh... from the lane mouth man," Gunbag hissed, "You probably na go member still, back then she did black and nice mon... nah have on so much weight either,"

"Gunbag... all me ask fah adi B name,"

"Keisha..." he sounded annoyed,

"A wa happened?" I glared at him,

"Nothing... just that..." he paused,

"What?"

"Me fuck that already dwag... infact every man bout ya suppose to knock it already,"

"Eeh..." I chuckled, "Perfect welcoming gift then mon..." I continued,

"Uno should a put her in a wrapping gift and put a bow pan her head,"

"Ya fuckery man enuh," Gunbag shook his head, "But... me personally no think you fi fuck, Keisha,"

"Wa mek?" I stared at her with lustful eyes, One she must have caught because now her whole body language has changed. That means she knows who I am and I want to know her too. Thoughts about having her upstairs with five fingers around her throat and two in her pussy sent chills up my spine...

"Unless you wah wull you hood in a you hand and drive ga Doctor Notice," Gunbag interrupted my thoughts.

"She shot you?" I glanced at him,

"Yea dwag... three time,"

"Eh," I laughed, "Look like we should a have her ina the camp from dem time deh..."

"Wa mek you seh that?"

"Because you are one of my best shooters, and she shot you three time... seems as if a she need fi be me right hand man then mon,"

"You gwan enuh," Gunbag laughed.

"So wah the plan?" the smile disappeared from his face. And show how I knew that we weren't talking about Keisha.

Saying nothing, I grabbed a glass of champagne from the passing waitress's tray,

"Cause me know you no forward back fi chat bout gyal and drink boasy drinks," Gunbag added, "Me member the oath eno... blood brothers... until death,"

Smiling, I brought the glass to my lips remembering the oath. At the time it seemed cool, but thinking about it now makes me realize how stupid it was. Slicing our palms with razor blades, tighten our bloody grips as we swore to never betray each other... never sell out.

"As me seh," I finally spoke, "We a tek a drive later... Zeen?"

"Nuh seh a word... But," Gunbag paused

"Talk..." I narrowed my eyebrows. Gunbag knows I hate when he does that, bringing up something he is afraid to say, I was annoyed by it.

"The little pretty B mon... from deh night deh, the one wei live pass the Ms. Witter shop,"

Chanice.

I didn't even remember to message her, because I have been caught up with all this. Of course I got her number the traditional way, well that is how my sperm donor got my mother's number... So she say.

"See her earlier infact..." I took out my cellphone, sliding the dancing lock icon across the screen. Double tapping on whatsapp, checking on her account information.

"She change," I mumbled, staring at her display picture. Captivating brown eyes, ones I want to stare in while her thick pink lips moan my name. Her perfect skin like an apple drizzled in chocolate syrup...

"Wei you mean?" Gunbag interrupt my thoughts once more,

"Nothing man," I cleared my throat, holding down on the power button, switch off my phone,

"Me a go pan the road eno..." I lowered the phone in my pocket, "You a forward?"

"Yeah man..." Gunbag nodded, "Nuh plan fi go back a Maypen tonight still,"

"Maypen? Eeeh... a country you did deh?"

"Yeah... did afi gwan cool out mon,"

"No seh a word mon... nuff room deh ya," I walked past him, "Forward nuh."

Hurrying out of the mansion, we ran into my mother outside,

"A wah u run wei go now?"

Shit

"Just a run some errands mon..." I pulled her into a hug, "Thanks mama," I mumbled in her ear,

"But next time no invite so much people,"

"Lawd Dwayne..." she pulled away, "No bada with the embarrassment... everyone just happy fi see you,"

"How you know that?" I smirked, thinking about it, I am sure that I have enemies still, disguised as friends.

"No bada with it eno Wayne... no bada with it," she narrowed her eyes into slits, pointing her finger at me,

"Easy Mama P... trouble me a trouble you..." I laughed, "Tell the guest them I had to run go pan the road,"

"Alright," she glared at Gunbag, she never liked him,

"Bring me bwoy come back ya in a one piece... or else..." she hissed before walking away.

"Dwag Ms. P hate me eno..." Gunbag complained as he went to the passenger side of the door, removing the bag from his back,

"Me not even know wei me do dwag,"

"And you know seh you know," I pulled on the door handle, sliding across the leather interior,

"Eeeeh... wa that?" Gunbag sat in the passenger side of the seat, gripping firmly on his backpack.

Sell CD me rass... deh bwoy ya figot seh we grow up together.

"Grade 7 mon... when we get wull wid the bag a knife dem,"

"You serious... a not even did my knife them... a did fi you,"

"Yeah," I smiled as I brought the engine to life, "But she no know that."

"Ya real fuckery man enuh... from dem time deh,"

"Gunbag... me know you strap," the smile left my face, driving out on the streets, "Member a me grow you,"

"Just did wa be prepare... me never mean fi..."

"That alright," I cut him off, "We about fi circle a ground wei ano fi we..."

"Who them?"

"Well... a Desmond Mcnelly respond fi them,"

"The MP?" I heard curiosity stuttering in his voice,

"Yeah."
