Part Two: The Letter

George looked around his room. He used to love it so much, but it was dark, empty... Hollow. It had been a week scince the war against Voldemort had ended, Harry had killed Voldemort. George hadn't left his room, Molly Weasley would put something to eat on the desk in his room, but he never ate it. George pulled out a quill and began to write

'Dear Fred and Aquilae,

I can hear you talking to me. In the empty space where my ear was, I can hear your voices.

I know I tried to pretend for the longest time that you guys wern't there, but I'm done pretending now. I know that it's you two. My ear must be... Where ever you two are, scince it died like you guys. I thought I was crazy, but I don't think so now. I hear you two all the time: sometimes talking, sometimes whispering, sometimes shouting. I can hear you both shouting now. Your shouting louder than you've ever shouted before "Don't do it Georgie! Don't do it!" Yup, I can hear you loud and clear, begging me to take the noose down from the ceiling, begging me not to step on that chair underneath that slip of rope, not to put it around my neck. I'm so sorry Fred and Aquilae, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to ignore you just one more time. Don't worry Freddie, Alie. After this Ill never have to ignore the two of you ever again. We'll all be together.

Love,

George

P.S. Mom, when you see this, don't cry. I'm happy now'

He folded the pice of paper and placed it on the bed. George took one last look at his room before steeping onto the chair, placeing the rope around his neck and tipping the chair forward.
