"Well well well... Look who's here... Aren't these our favorite love birds?"
The sound was like thunder, creeping their ears out as they shuddered by the sudden harsh voice. The hold of Taehyung on Jeongguk's hand was tightening even after they released the hug slowly. Taehyung was trying hard to mask the shivers running down his spine. Jeongguk was on his side and he was feeling strong even when facing the monsters. He wanted to disappear in Jeongguk's arms, stay there forever and not turn to face the world and its fake sympathies. Taehyung loathes the world and loves the universe because it has the mysteries he loves to solve. The universe is patient to hear his whines and falls into his dramas. Even if it takes a little time, still, it hasn't let him down. Taehyung relaxed under Jeongguk's soft touch on him, rubbing his hips, holding him close.
The tall males walked forward with a smirk on their lips, eyes dark and merciless. Seojoon was wearing his trademark black suit, the shoulders wide and proud. Taehyung and Jeongguk wanted to wipe that man away in front of their eyes but stayed calm. Jiwon followed Seojoon, his fitted grey suit and smug that making them clench their jaws. It would be a surprise for the world to believe these two are the fathers of Taehyung and Jimin. It's so wrong even by the looks. Jennie gulped, smiling at both men. She stood up as Jiwon and Seojoon extended their hands for a handshake.
"Jennie darling, why don't you give us a moment so that we can have a nice talk with these lovebirds? Then you can have your fiance all the way you want. Hmm?"
Seojoon said, eyeing Jennie from top to bottom. Her posture stiffens, gaze far away from the two friends looking at her with a betrayed expression. Smiling and nodding, she walked out of the cafe, head low and tracing the floor tiles, leaving the two older men alone with Jeongguk and Taehyung. To say they both are shocked would be an understatement. They were losing every bit of their consciousness. They trusted Jennie, disclosed everything to her thinking that she is a good friend. Now that it backfired, it turned out that Jennie is nothing but the same evil they despise, both Jeongguk and Taehyung flinched at the thought. Their eyes met with Jennie leaving silently without even caring about them and obeying Seojoon, and it hurts them. There's an intolerable ache in their heart while reckoning about the friendship and loyalty they shared with the girl. How could she? Why would she do that? What did she want? Money? Power? Or something else that they can't pinpoint? Why would she do that after knowing how much both Taehyung and Jeongguk hate the two men?
The grip on Jeongguk's hand tightened as they both stood up, Taehyung glaring at his father, not giving any chance for the other to assume that he's the old weak boy. No, he's not. He's strong now. Jeongguk held Taehyung's hand, reminding him that he's not alone in this.
"Oh, Jeongguk-ssi. I thought my son was... You finally found him... Oh my God, thank you so much... Tae---"
"Don't. Don't. Take. My. Name. With your filthy mouth. "
Words spat out from Taehyung's mouth, the surrounding shuddering at the hate oozing from those words. His strong glares and raised eyebrows, his index finger pointing at Seojoon's heart, his harsh and deep voice not cracking down. All of this took both Seojoon and Jiwon off guard. The Taehyung they know never talked like this. Seojoon cocked an eyebrow at his son's tone change. He let out a lifeless chuckle and glanced at Jiwon. The other has a wicked smile too. Well, partners in crime.
"How can I not... I finally got you... Let me hug you once, my son..."
Jeongguk was trying hard to not throw hands at the male and controlled himself for Taehyung. He wanted to make Seojoon and Jiwon spat all the venom out from them so that he can finally make them count the stars, punching them to death. The officer waited patiently. He got all the time. After all, the night is young.
Seojoon pulled a chair and sat down, lips tugging into an annoying smirk. He still believes that Taehyung will be on his knees begging for his life as soon as he uses his dirty game. But his son was not even acknowledging his presence. And that's not something he expects right now. Oh, how much he wished to see his son's eyes fill with pleas, like the old times. Jiwon sat next to his friend, eyes trailing from Taehyung's head to toes. The gaze was nothing fond, and Taehyung really wanted to throw up at that right moment. He averted his gaze from the evils to the brightly lit up the city; gloomy yet aesthetic.
"Wait a minute, what are you doing with him, officer Jeon? Aren't you supposed to present him in front of the seniors and close the case? Instead, you two are dating? That's not fair... Don't you think, Seojoon-ah?"
Sarcasm dripping from his every word as Jiwon sat cross-legged, blinking twice in a mocking way. Jeongguk scoffed. He was holding his patience because of some precious reasons, else no one could imagine what would happen to the males in front of him. Jeongguk doesn't want to lose his control like that. He will end up with nothing if he acts according to his short-tempered mind. He needs to be logical, examine every trick of the two before making a move of his own. He has to be a strong and thoughtful forsake of Taehyung.
"My, my. You two are dating? You're really following your fatso brother's path, huh? Being the little sl---"
Seojoon couldn't complete the words because Jeongguk yanked his collar and the elder was caught off guard with the strong hands curling around his neck, his breath stuck in his lungs, and eyes rolling back of his head as a sudden reflex. Jiwon stood up to push Jeongguk while Taehyung, too, had a hold on the officer's sleeves. He didn't want this to end like this way.
"Don't you dare to say a word against him. I will tear you apart even before the law can lay a hand on you. "
Jeongguk said in his deep voice octaves lower, his intention to make the two men flinch, and when Seojoon's eyes widened, a smirk planted on Jeongguk's lips. He pushed Seojoon back on the chair and moved back to look at Taehyung. The concerning eyes are already on him, a bit of alleviating and pleading him to not make a scene but also stay strong. Seojoon fixed his shirt and stood up, fuming glare and anger shaking his body.
Taehyung's fingers curled around the sleeves of Jeongguk like always. Keeping that in mind that Taehyung trusts him with his dear life, Jeongguk glared at Seojoon and Jiwon. Seojoon wasn't taking a step back from his intimidating gestures, which makes Jeongguk's blood boil and he balled his fist.
"How dare you touch me? You... Do you know who I'm? What can I do with you? You talk back to me about this gay slut? To me? I will sue you, make your life hell..."
Jeongguk was holding onto the last bit of tolerance he had before wiping out the smirk on the face of Seojoon. He maintained his stern posture and opened his mouth to say something but Taehyung cut him off.
"You will do nothing to him, Seojoon. Your game is over, bastard---"
Taehyung was cut off mid-sentence when Seojoon raised his hands. The fuming red eyes and the tightened muscles made Taehyung flinch and he clutched Jeongguk. Breath caught on his lungs, Taehyung closed his eyes. He knows the taste of his father's slaps and he turned his head in fear.
"YOU!! FILTHY SIN"
The sneer was uproarious but the slap never landed. Taehyung opened his eyes, heart cracking at the words of his father, the blood that brought him to the world, just called him a sin. Tears were already dried in his long eyes still, the pain making him tired. Letting out a shaky breath, Taehyung turned his face only to meet with Jeongguk stopping Seojoon's hand from slapping him. The tight grip of the younger man's hand was making Seojoon and Jiwon yell at him. But Jeongguk couldn't bring himself to care. He protected his love from the very start. He will do that in any season and circumstances. Seojoon squirmed under the hold while Jiwon tried to push Jeongguk away. The elder's other hand extended to clutch Jeongguk's neck. Even though his hold on the officer was weak, Seojoon protested and tried his best to release himself when Jeongguk twisted his hand. The male let out an outcry, the pain finally shooting his body as the nerves of his hand to brain breaking under the strong grip of the officer. Jeongguk was enjoying this, the way Seojoon was completely helpless and squealing because of the miserable state, eyes tore and the body attempting to resist the officer but failing.
It was in a snap, a matter of seconds when Jiwon took out the knife from his pocket and ran towards them. His dark orbs aiming Jeongguk as he leaned to stab the officer. The whole world stopped for both Jeongguk and Taehyung. Their body became numb and their heart skipped a couple of beats. They couldn't breathe because of the extra oxygen filling in their lungs, pupils blurring the views and the brain cuts the circuits towards the most beautiful memories. They felt like life stopped there. Right that moment, it felt like they went back to the old world where Taehyung and Jeongguk never met and couldn't meet. It was their worst fear. Losing them after finally having themselves in each other's hands. They didn't want to go back to where they were both strangers, far from each other, not even destined to meet. It hurts. Forfeiting each other in the hands of their cruel fate hurts so much that they didn't want to live without the other's warmth. The visions fogging their eyes, loud gasps and scream swirling from the sky to the earth as the knife stabbed Jeongguk's stomach.
But it didn't.
Seojoon was on the floor, head hit on the table because of the force, blood tingling on his forehead, stunned and pale as he failed to move and register what just happened. With a painful twist in the hand, the knife falls, and with the bloody hand that was holding the knife, stopping it from piercing Jeongguk into a victim of fate, Park Jimin pushed his father on his chest.
It's like a mirage. A miracle universe sends for Kim Taehyung in the name of his soulmate. When Jiwon's knife was about to touch Jeongguk who was fighting against Seojoon and didn't notice the other rival's anger, Taehyung let out a scream, he yelled for Jeongguk to turn but it was too late for the officer to react. The two- Taehyung and Jeongguk did see their eternity at that very moment. The losing hold on Seojoon and the broken eyes of Taehyung was the last cue the universe had against them, again their dirty fate. It's too much.
Taehyung was about to fall on his knees and end his life with Jeongguk, but a sudden yet smooth inner voice told him to fight, fight against wrong. Not every time the evil wins. Yeah, they do win from the start, but the last victory is for the ones who fight well. Soliciting the last bit of strength and faith in him, Taehyung pushed his father, kicking him on his legs which made Seojoon fall on the floor, Jeongguk moved away by the force. Taken aback by the sudden reflex, Jiwon lost his concentration and the knife made a severe cut on Taehyung's left arm, painting his white shirt in crimson. A hiss was heard, but the knife couldn't break Taehyung and trim into his flesh. The male let out a cry while holding the wound and Jeongguk turned to him in panic, touching the cut, red blood staining his hand. All Jeongguk wanted to do was smash Jiwon into pieces. He turned with fuming eyes and the ache of his lover being hurt. Wrong move, Jiwon was in front of him, all set to stab him fast but this time too, his target missed, as it should.
As soon as the sounds of chairs cracking, tables falling, and the scream, Jimin wasted no seconds to barge inside of the cafe. He met with the most heartbreaking sight. His best friend squirming in pain, the wound on his arm shakes Jimin's whole body, the blood making him want to faint. Jeongguk was about to fight against his father, helpless yet angry eyes ready to kill the elder. Jimin has lost a lot in his life. His mother, childhood, beautiful memories of being a kid, his brother's care because of his father's doing, his family... The list goes on. But to be honest, he got everything when Taehyung cocked an eyebrow at him near the last corner of the library, back in college, years ago.
He was an immature, stubborn kid who failed in almost every subject and used to find little peace while doing some stupid and goofy things. The introvert shade was not the first thing Jimin noticed on Taehyung, but the pink blush and his raised eyebrows when the silver-haired male realized Jimin was watching porn. The creepy boy in him offered a headset to the nerd, but Taehyung shook his head. There- from that fricking moment, Jimin knew there's something between them, and that's why his stupid head made him watch the porn in the middle of the library, and Taehyung walks towards the old history section. The only family Jimin got from that day till forever was Taehyung- who's here fighting for survival and the lover of his best friend- the only love story Jimin sacrificed his sleep to hear his best friend fantasizing about the moon saying that it's his lover- they both are in front him, trying to regain their life, battling with the evil which is his father. Jimin can't lose his last reason to live. He promised the universe that he will protect Taehyung. He will. And that's why Jimin didn't waste a second to run and stop his father from stabbing Jeongguk, by holding the knife. His hands curled around the sharp silver tool and Jiwon was stunned to see his son stopping him. The grip on the knife was hard which made a deep cut on Jimin's hand, blood dripping from the wound. He couldn't tolerate blood, he never could. Still, Jimin released the hold and pushed his father. A sigh of relief. A moment of life. A glance of love that says I'm here.
Back to reality, Taehyung held his left bicep tightly sitting on the chair with Jimin and Jeongguk on his sides, comforting and telling him everything is fine. The silver-haired male finally let out the wild emotions he stored inside, tears. Taehyung cried hard as Jimin began to cover the cut with his handkerchief. Taehyung's puppy eyes never hurt him this much before. Jimin wanted to tear his own father, the excuse of a parent. Jeongguk was helping Taehyung to calm down, telling him sweet nothings and brushing his hair softly. As Taehyung relaxed, the officer gazed at the floor. Seojoon was trying to stand up and Jiwon, the tricky man eyeing the knife. Placing his heels on the silver knife, Jeongguk pulled it towards him with his foot. His face had a smug, hair sweaty and messed up. Everyone in the room was in the same state. Looking at the two elder men reminds them of one thing- how merciless jerks they're, demons dressed like fathers.
Chuckling humorlessly, Jiwon broke the tension in the air to something close to frustration. His stares trailing on Jimin who was helping Taehyung. When the father-son duo's eyes met, Jiwon scoffed.
"Still living your life petting him like this, right, sweetheart? Your so-called fatso troupe. Where are the others, by the way? The other clowns?"
Mocking Jimin and making him lose control over his anger was always Jiwon's favorite sport. He gets whatever he wants from his son in that way. He was expecting Jimin to react like that, the old times, yeah. But something was off. Apart from passing a smirk, Jimin didn't throw the anger on his father this time. He stood up to face the male and smiled softly. No, this is not something usual. Both Jiwon and Seojoon knew that. Jimin wasn't trying hard to control himself, he's not protesting and creating any dramas, the officer and Taehyung too, were awfully quiet. It all seems weird, abnormal, and planned.
"Oh, Daddy dearest. Long time, no see. First, let's sit and talk. Didn't you miss me? Miss talking to me and sharing your deeds? Don't you have any papers for me to sign?
Or... I have something for you..."
Jimin said with a smirk that scares both Seojoon and Jiwon for some reason. They glanced at each other, confused at the way Jimin was talking. The voice sounds like a threat. A threat that they didn't notice from the very start. The cafe door opened, with all the GangBangtan members along with Chanyeol and Baekhyun. Now, no one was surprised. Wasn't that obvious, if Jimin was there, then the others will be there too. Of course, it's their mission to protect each friend. But what makes the two males' breath stuck in the lungs is -Jennie.
The girl they trusted, the girl who told she wanted to win against Taehyung and wanted Jeongguk back, who they believed as one of them, as a perfect villain is now on the opposite side. How? Why? How can the table change this faster and brutally?
Seojoon and Jiwon were puzzled. They stood there like they had seen a ghost. With Jennie smirking at them, GangBangtan on her side, they felt dizzy, eyes not really ready to digest the sight in front of them. Jeongguk cleared his throat to grab the attention of the two elders.
"Really? You thought she will join you to win over some stupid illusion you both created and ditch her best friend? That's so pathetic of you both. Now see, she's already on our team."
Jeongguk paused while smiling at Jennie. She passed a smile back and walked in front of the two. Her eyes glinted with victory. She did make fun of them, and the happiness of winning the challenge was clear in those black orbs.
"Ah, Don't take it to heart Seojoon-ssi and Jiwon-ssi. It's Jeonggukkie's plan from the starting. Hiding hints for you both, meeting you accidentally in a broken state, and the fake obsession of taking my fiance back, it's all just a plan. Even calling you both here tonight so that we can close this case in a way it deserves, Jeongguk plotted it really well along with Chanyeol. I just... Played along."
Jennie said like a matter of fact-ly. As if she just told them she learned a school rhyme. That's simple. Stunned by the words, Seojoon and Jiwon glanced around the room. Was it really a plan? Yeah. It is. The way Jennie met them, made them trust her, then telling secrets like Taehyung's diary, their fake death, she fooled them very dearly. It was their mistake of thinking every love and obsession of women towards a man is because of the want and need, her desires. No, some of the care and love towards the man from women is because of their true friendship. Jeongguk is too special to Jennie. He's a friend she would never want to lose.
A sneer was let out by an angry Seojoon. Jiwon too was not in a good state. Their jaws clenching and teeth-gritting at the sight in front of them. Happy friends. No, that can't be possible. Jiwon's hand extended to grab Jimin's throat but Chanyeol stopped him. Taking a chair from the side, Seojoon yanked forward to hit on Jeongguk. The officer's reflex was so fast that he punched the male on his cheek, lips bruising and blood tingling from the wound. The chair fell and Jeongguk took the opportunity to hit and punch Seojoon more, letting out all the frustration he was masked for a long time. When Seojoon failed to even open his eyes, Jeongguk stopped.
"Even though you were doing every single wrong thing from the very start, I couldn't collect any evidence, since you made them vanish from the record. We needed a plan to gather the proof and your trustworthy person who can help us. And guess what, we won. All your illegal dealings and videos of torturing your own children are here, in our hands."
It was Chanyeol who said those words. They didn't get any proof against the two before since they hid everything from their reach. And without the evidence, nothing can be proved, they couldn't be jailed and punished. The friends felt thankful to Jennie. She was ready to go with the plan Jeongguk suggested, made the two evil partners believe her and she leaked every information they have stored, away from the world. It was risky. Jennie wasn't any trained agent. But she's an ethical hacker. And that was a blessing for Jeongguk that he doesn't need to teach her how to crack the loophole. Clever and careful, she transferred all the proof and evidence of their illegal doing which will be of course, enough to put them both in Jail and gave them the best punishment out there for their lifetime.
By that time, Yeonjun and Soobin arrived with some other police officers. As they entered, a pale yellow shade spread all over their face. Yeonbin looked at their senior and then their eyes landed on Taehyung. The wound and the blood covering his hand, the broken state while Jin comforts him sitting next to the silver head, it's all a mess. GangBangtan was looking like they're on the verge of bursting out and there were officer Chanyeol, Baekhyun, and Jennie. The newly arrived officers walked towards them, handcuffs in their hands and some papers too. Yeonjun and Soobin saluted their seniors and Chanyeol and Jeongguk nodded.
"Sir, is everything alright? Taehyungiee?"
Yeonjun asked. The worried expression on his face reflecting on Soobin's face too. They held Taehyung's hand to help him get up. The elder passed a soft smile towards the cute assistants of his lover. He then looked at Seojoon and Jiwon. Both were exhausted, bruised, and not in a state to get up and fight. Who thought this would turn out like this? Handcuffs are already on them, tightly around their wrists. Their eyes still have a daring glint, but it's all over now. The last victory goes to the real fighters and the survivors.
For a moment, Taehyung met his gaze with his father. Yeah, father. While growing up, he was not that close to that man, he had some reasons including the divorce of his mother which caused him to stay away from her. He didn't hate him. Deep down, Taehyung used to admire his father. The success, the fame, the power everything was so much to take in for his young childish mind. As he grew up, his thoughts and perspectives changed. He met GangBangtan and broke the curse of living without friends for a lifetime. Thinking again about his father's doing, he got to know how this man owned everything - the dirty games and the fights with Baekhyun. The invisible distance between him and his father widened. But still, even the days when he got hit and tortured by the man brutally, Taehyung used to think that it's his father, after all, a parent has every right to beat their children when they do wrong. Oh, how wrong he was, thinking that it's all his fault when actually he did nothing. Guilty washed over him at the moment for hating himself all this time. He doesn't deserve all of that.
A hand on his waist brought him back to reality. Jeongguk helped him to stand. He lost a lot of blood already, still managed to gather up his courage. He stared at his father like he was seeing him for the first time. There was something he wanted to tell this man. Actually, a lot. Taking two steps forward, Taehyung held his father's hand, gentle and careful. The bloodstain on his hand mixing with Seojoon's as the man was caught off guard with his son's surprising gesture. They were all cautious about the moment. And looked dumbfounded at Taehyung. Taking a deep breath, the silver head said.
"This would be the last time I'm talking to you and calling you..." He paused for a moment, closing his eyes tightly and opening them to meet the stunned black orbs of his father.
"Appa...
You taught me what to do and how to do with your life. But all those times, I was learning something else from you. What not to do. I was learning that while looking at you what I should not do in my life. You're a great teacher to me. You always will be. And a great villain too. Just... You failed to be my father. "
A teardrop escaped from his swollen red puffy eyes, all the way down to Seojoon's hand he was holding. The gaze of the elder was somewhat different. The room was failing to read them. They didn't know if it's an illusion or real, because the man looks like something close to guilty? No, that can't be Seojoon, that's definitely an illusion.
"All those times whenever I missed mom and family, I thought you would be there, like those old times we would sit and talk, eating strawberries and being the best pal you used to be. You... You were my best friend, Appa... Best friend.
Anyways...
You... You hate me, I can understand. You only love power and money. And look where that put you today. Neither your power is on your side nor your children."
Letting his tears dry, Taehyung sucked another breath. Baekhyun was on his side, staring at their father. Even though he has nothing to say, he too was surprised to see Seojoon looking down and eyes full of regret.
"You took everything from me and thought it's fun, and now, that's what I'm gonna do. You wanted my mother's company, right? That's why you killed her and tried to kill me too, right? Now you will see me running Vante Cosmos while you will be rotting in the jail. Yes, that's what I'm gonna do. I wish you all the very best there, Seojoon. Goodbye"
Taehyung paused. He has been thinking about that. With his love for his mother and her passion for fashion, Taehyung wanted to bring back the old shine of Vante Cosmos, one of the best cosmetics and fashion modeling companies in South Korea. As soon as the words left his mouth, all his friends stared at him with bewildered expressions. Taehyung and CEO? Heaven, yeah. And they all break into big smiles. You Go, Taetae.
It was a wonder why Seojoon didn't react to that. He stood silent, head low and tired eyes. His punishment will be lifelong and he knows, there is no way out. Screw legal, he failed in life. He failed to be a father to a son who admired him from top to bottom. That's what was wandering in his head. He does not even deserve to ask for forgiveness from his son. The hate his children have towards him is clear by the mere gaze of their eyes. His heart cracked for a moment when the soft hand of Taehyung left him, leaving him all cold and wounded. He's alone in this world from now on. The thick silence broke once again when Jimin talked to Jiwon.
"I don't even have words for you... I just... Channie and I wish you... A life you deserve in jail, Dad."
The harsh voice Jimin always had towards Jiwon was a little soft now. The elder stared at his son, taken aback by the last word. He hasn't heard that from his children for a long time. And now, it's not even the right timing. When parents do wrong, sometimes children correct them. It's not like parents can't do anything wrong. They're human too, they have all the right to make mistakes. But sometimes, you forget that you'll get only a chance to correct the same mistake. Repeated mistakes are crimes. A crime that leaves you with not even a chance to ask forgiveness. Children look up to their parents, their doings, learn from them what to do and why. But at times, you will learn from them what not to do as a parent and an individual. Still, it hurts while thinking that the shoulder you trust to lean on till eternity was just a pillow, used to not wake you up from your deep sleep. The traditional parenting technique hurts as you grow up. A pillow can never replace the shoulders of your family.
With the last glance, the police officers took Jiwon and Seojoon away from them. The young night is entered into midnight chaos. The blurred city is now bright and clear. The broken mess around them surprisingly calms them to a beautiful blue and grey. The faces looked like they were saved and survived from the hardships and sharing a mellow vibe from one to another. After all, victory tastes sweet if you fight sincerely.
Jeongguk cupped Taehyung's face and hugged him tightly, without pressing the wound. They all shared sweet glances and big gratitude to everyone who helped them. Especially Jennie. The girl walked towards Taehyung and hugged him gently. Taehyung smiled with the whole heart. Without her, they couldn't complete this mission. They were all thankful to Jennie for saying yes to the plan. Bowing to everyone, she passed a sweet smile. Then her gaze landed on Jeongguk. She hugged him and patted him on his shoulder.
"You did great, Jen. Thank you so much for helping us"
Jeongguk said with a voice soft and filled with gratitude. He bowed to her and Jennie put a hand on Jeongguk to stop him from doing that. She smiled and said.
"I will do that anyway. Because you're my best friend, Jeongguk. Now, in return… Please take care of Tae for me. He's precious."
Jennie's soft voice made them all look at her fondly. She doesn't know much about Taehyung and GangBangtan, but she's aware, how pure and precious Taehyung is and the friendship of GangBangtan to the world. Smiling at the words, Jeongguk nodded and said. "I promise, I will…".
Bowing to everyone, Jennie left the place. The friends, with Yeonbin and Chanbaek, sat on the chairs for a moment. The wound on Taehyung and Jimin was making them worry, but Chanyeol managed to give them first aid. They sat silently, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hobi holding each other's hands in relief, while Jin helped to dress Taehyung and Jimin. They breathed calmly. It's the perfect end they wanted. It's the peace they earned. Now they can be whatever they're, whoever they're. Even if another villain shows up, they know how to fight, they will beat them all and will win. Being stuck in a journey is fine, take a little rest, sort out the ways, and then move on. This is not the end of the future. The present is eventful, but the future will be more surprising. Sometimes, you have to trust the journey. The wind and the stars will take you to the right place where you belong, even if you end up in the wrong place, the moon will light up your pitch darkness. Faith is a wonderful thing. When it is mixed with nature and our lives, we can find serenity even in chaos. The bliss you were searching for around the world sometimes lies within you.
"Now group hug, bi*ches. It's been a looong journey and we did it. We won. "
Hobi, of course, screamed out of his lungs so that the world could hear him. His friends laughed. Yeah, it's been a long journey. The taste of triumph deserves to be felt by everyone who battles against their own beliefs and fate. Everyone gathered to join the group hug, including Yeonbin and Chanbaek.
"Yes, we won." They all screamed with big smiles on their faces. Walking out of the cafe, Taehyung kissed Jeongguk's cheek with a red blush on his own bread cheeks. When a startled Jeongguk looked at him, he whispered. "Thank you… for everything." Jeongguk was shaken by the soft sound and tingling tears in Taehyung's eyes. He doesn't need to be thanked for protecting his love. Kissing on the hand of the other, Jeongguk passed his bunny smile. The sweet interaction earned a groan from Yoongi and Jimin walking behind them.
"Yah, why is only Jeongguk getting a kiss from Taehyungiee? We did a good job too, you know…"
Oh. It took Taehyung a second to blush and Jeongguk to avert all the gazes, head down, and walk forward. Another moment, they heard Yoongi groaning and saying "Hajimaa…"
Because his favorite Taehyung was prepping him with kisses. Laughing at the way both hyung and the younger one showing affection, they realized how their life was gonna be. Together and happy. What nice words.
With Taehyung kissing Jimin and Yoongi, then other members, including Chanbaek and Yeonbin, sharing random talks, exposing each other for the umpteenth time, the ride to home was fun and happy.
"Can we finally go to Jeju again? I miss that heaven"
Jin said, making all of them think a moment. The silence was unbearable but then, Namjoon broke it, exploding the loudest cheers from his friends.
"F*ck it, we are going to Jeju. "
Some might say GangBangtan is immature, childish, or ridiculous. But for them, the world is a void, and their friendship is home. A home that has always been there whenever they feel low and broken. A home that lulls them to sleep at night, protects them from the black eyes. A home they created together. If one of them wanted to do anything, it means seven of them are going to do it. Having individual dreams is amazing. Fulfilling different dreams together is out of the world. And for those who can't understand how that friendship works, let's just say, The day will come back around, as if nothing happened, yeah, life goes on.
--------------------------------------------------------------
*1. I can't believe I did that!
*2. Say sorry to Jennie.
*3. If this is not the best shock of TOI, then I don't know what it is.
Now, out of 10, rate Twilight of Itaewon.?!
