Vittorio Spalitte.
Ruthless. Cold. Manipulative.
And to the utter surprise of many, a hopeless romantic.
"You've got that look." Lilith commented as she watched him button a new dark shirt on, the one he wore yesterday on herself.
"What look, Lils?" He asked with a small smirk on his face, running his hand through his dark hair, and turned walking towards the girl tangled up in his sheets, wearing only his shirt and bent down, pulling her in for a kiss.
"I'm going to end the Berlusconi's last heir"
She pulled him down by his shirt, kissing him on the cheek before speaking.
"I thought we had no inner workers there anymore"
"Turns out there is one" Vittorio let his lip curl "Let's just say some of those pathetic media's claims are true"
Lilith let out a soft sigh.
"Babe?"
"Yeah?"
"Just don't do something you might regret"
"I would never" He rested his forehead against hers, looking into her green eyes with his own blue ones "Win that fight you have today and I'll award you"
"I win every single fucking time" She wrapped her arms around his neck "But what if I didn't?"
"Oh" He growled pressing her beneath him gently and let his hand go down there but didn't do anything else just simply whispered in a husky voice "You'll have to wait and see"
~o~O~o~
Serafina didn't know how it felt, obviously she didn't, she hadn't died yet.
But she couldn't help but wonder.
Would it be dark? Cold? Would there actually be hell and heaven? Would she find peace? Or would she go to a completely different planet?
She didn't know nor like these questions at all.
"Miss Spalitte?"
"Yes?"
"Mr Spalitte asked me to tell you he wants to meet you in his office"
Oh, this ought to be good.

"You're late" Bella commented as Vesper entered the gym, looking up from her phone, she was on the treadmill.
"Yeah, the judge actually took time, and the jury was no faster, it lowkey sucked" Vesper looked apologetically into the grey eyes of her best friend.
Bella Morelli.
She was the heir to the most feared gangs in Italy.
Was.
She had just inherited all of it, proved herself, they accepted her as their leader, it went rather smoothly in terms of such a change especially considering she was a girl, and some of them were old school and as of now, dead.
Her slightly afro textured wavy hair, tied into a bun above her head, the tips of it dyed blue, Vesper started warming up alongside her best friend too.
"HOLY SHIT"
"What?" Vesper's head snapped to face the girl.
"I just realised what I could have said to Karen in 8th grade"
"What?" Vesper raised an eyebrow
"Look I found your nose. It's in my business again"
"Wow" Vesper let out a chuckle rolling her eyes, "Amazing"
"I know right!"
"I was being sarcastic but sure"
"Bitch"
"Whore"

"I called you here for a reason" Vittorio's voice broke her thoughts and let out a silent scoff.
"Oh thanks for clearing that up, I genuinely thought you called for me just to see me sit, and take in my awesomeness"
"Sera" His voice went soft surprising the girl in front of him, who just stared at him not being able to comprehend the tone he used or the shortened name he called her by.
"Tori?" She shot back in a mocking tone and he looked at her apologetically before standing up, she swallowed unsurely.
Was he fine? Did he know? He can't know! Right? RIGHT?
Even though she panicked inside, there was this small part of her finally happy, that someone will finally, finally love her, and that part may be buried deep inside but it was definitely there.
"I am sorry" He cupped her cheek with his hand as her sapphire blue eyes with hints of jade green like prickles widened meeting his stormy blue ones at the words.
Her eyes, he couldn't help but think he had loved those eyes once, but it couldn't be their mothers, hers were the same forest green only she and Victorio had. Their father had the same stormy blue eyes he does, that Katherine does, that the rest of them do.
"What?" She asked after a minute of silence, looking down,
"I'm sorry" He said rubbing his thumb on her cheek, as though comforting her.
"Vittorio...are you fine?" She couldn't help it.
This didn't seem like him at all. This didn't seem like her...brother at all yet she liked it. It relieved her, maybe just maybe, she'd get love without the pity...maybe he'd finally have realised.
Even if only 1 per cent of her did, she liked that bit of affection, something she had craved, and probably will always, considering she was going to not exist anymore.
"You aren't" His tone went even softer.
He knows.
How does he know? He can't know!
"What do you mean?" She swallowed the lump in her throat, shaking her head in disbelief.
"Littlest sister" He spoke grasping her arm and pulling her up before hugging her and she stood frozen, she didn't know what to do or say.
He slowly rubbed her back stroking her hair as though comforting her but didn't let go.
Slowly she wrapped an arm around him.
This felt....weirdly good to the young girl, she liked it.
She liked it but hated it more, hated how someone who she has hated all her life and has probably been hated too brought her this sense of safety.
And she hadn't felt safe since she was 2.
"Vittorio?" Her voice sounded familiar to his ears...he didn't know why, it always had weirdly.
He shook it off.
"Yes?" He pressed a kiss to her head before pulling away.
"What's going on?"
"They are trying to kill you"
"Who are?" She asked confused, not understanding what he meant.
"The same people who killed dad" His voice was filled with pain.
Fake pain.
The girl didn't pick it up though, maybe because her wish was finally coming through, or maybe because he was just that good of an actor
"Who?"
"The Berlusconis."
"I know, I know" She nodded "But that date is not near, and he told he would never, he confessed and contrary to what you think we actually do love each other"
"Baby, before our parent's died, they made me promise to do right by you, let me keep that promise to them. Let me do right by you" He looked at her, into her eyes, as though looking into her soul. "Let me protect you"
"But"-
"I won't hurt him, if that pleases you" He promised and Serafina finally considered.
If she revealed information about the secret warehouse, it shouldn't do so much of hrm considering they were one of the most powerful gangs of all time, and he'd still love her...right? And this way Vittorio and her would finally bond, talk or some sappy shit like that...yeah it did sound good but was it really?
And then the fact that they did kill her parents...it would be perfect but...
Was it really?
That question hung at the back of her head and Vittorio immediately saw the conflict on her face and brought her attention to himself.
"I love you, Sera" He tucked a piece of her hair "All our family does, we may not show it too, but you are the youngest, the little baby of the family, the cherished one" He finished and she sighed twisting the dark signet on her finger that her whole family wore.
"Are you lying?" Her voice was fragile to his ears, this soft voice that he hadn't heard before...She was...what's the word? he thought.
Ha! Yes.
Vulnerable.
Her voice was vulnerable, it reminded him of Eve....of Eve and...in a strange way of Andrea, his childhood friend.
He looked at her, suddenly that face he disliked because of its attitude was not what he saw.
What he saw was the face of a little girl. A little girl he was supposed to protect. He said he'd never be like his parents were after the incident.
He wasn't.
But was this any different?
Was neglecting his responsibilities any better? That was when he had this overwhelming urge to protect her, lock her up in a tower and protect her from anything bad she may not have experienced yet.
WHAT WAS HE THINKING, OH MY GOD.
Mafia comes first.
Mafia, Power and Money come first, always will.
If not then a billion other things, but family? Oh boy, it sure does come last.
Serafina shook her brother's hand, the one he was using to hold hers as he seemed lost in thought.
"Yes?" He looked at the girl who raised an eyebrow.
"Not lying" He dipped his head kissing his sister's cheek, just like he had when she was born, except this time it wasn't out of love.
It was out of the want of power.
He could see the way her eyes softened so much, the way she just wanted to break down, to cry...he didn't know the reason for sure but had a pretty strong guess.
"What do you want, Tori?"
"Information, Bella, information so we can be done with this altogether.
"Bella?"
"It means beautiful" He pushed her down on his own chair.
"I know what it means" She shifted a little so she was comfortable as he kneeled so he could be shorter and maintain the eye-contact at all costs. And finally, Serafina opened her mouth, something she'd regret for the remaining life she had.
