A week later...
Nothing beats the cold breeze, quietness, new canvas, and fresh paints.
Mornings like this had always been perfect time for Vince to work with his creativity.
Aside from getting his family back again, the morning ambiance helped him be inspired.
It had been a week also since Vince and his wife were on good terms and had been making the most out of their days with their kids.
*ding dong*
Vince was amidst working on his new canvas when he heard the doorbell.
Surprised by the thought that who would visit them that early, he still quickly get up and made his way towards the gate.
"Good day, sir! Delivery for Mrs. Patricia Gomez," the guy said.
"Delivery?" Vince exclaimed.
"Yes, sir," he nods.
Vince curiously looked at the guys as if examining him, Tricia's still asleep how can she call for any delivery?"
"Is there any problem, sir?"
"No," he shrugged, "can I check it first."
"Sure, sir."
The guy handed Vince the paper bag and let him check it before he showed him the receipt.
There was nothing more suspicious inside the bag, aside from him still thinking if Tricia did really ordered it, and so he accepted the delivery and paid for it after.
"Thanks," he said before the delivery guy politely leave the place.
Vince traced his steps back inside their house, went straight to check on the kids.
He thought maybe they were the ones who ordered but to his surprise they were all still fast asleep.
It's Tricias?
Without thinking much of it now and was convinced that it was his wife's order, Vince proceeded to their room.
"Hon," he called as he opened the door.
And there he saw his wife, sitting at their bed. Comfortably leaning her back on the headboard.
"Good morning, hon," she greeted.
"Good morning, honey," he walked towards her then aimed for a kiss.
"Oh, you've got my order!"
"So this is yours."
"Yup," she shyly smiles.
"Jollibee, seriously?"
"Why?" Tricia frowned at her husband then reached the paper bag from him.
"Honey, akala ko ba no fast food tayo for breakfast?"
"Minsan lang naman, hon," she giggles as she tugged his arms, "and besides, kids are still asleep."
"Yeah, but why do you have to order it, hon? You could have just asked me to cook for you."
"I know, hon, but I saw you working on a canvas kanina. I don't want to disturb you."
He couldn't help but smile especially when his wife hugged him from his waist since he was still standing.
"And also, I want the specific sweetness of this spaghetti. Baka if I ask you to make it for me then hindi mo nagaya, masasayang lang, hon."
"Sus, ang asawa ko."
He cups her face.
"Share na lang tayo, hon?"
Tricia smiles up at him.
Ugh, why do you have to be this sweet and at the same time so cute, he thought to himself then gently brought her hands to his lips, "Sure, honey."
"Okay," She giggles then quickly gets the boxes inside the paper bag.
Vince was watching Tricia when a sudden thought came to his mind.
He smiled, it's possible.
"Let's eat na, hon."
"Sige," Vince nods.
He then sits beside her.
"Hon, do you have something to tell me?" He asks her while caressing her arms.
Tricia looked at him, "wala naman, honey, why?" She asks back.
"Sigurado?"
"Yes."
Vince keep the eye contact which Tricia had noticed, she seems to know what her husband meant to say but she just smiled.
"Thank you for picking this up pala, let's eat na, honey," she pulled him closer.
"Okay," he just shrugged.
Instead of moving closer to his wife, Vince laid right beside Tricia.
"How can you eat when you're laying down?"
"Subuan mo na lang ako, honey."
"Sus, ang tamad."
"Naglalambing lang, ito naman."
"Fine, let's eat na. I've been wanting to have this since yesterday, honey!" Tricia told him as she opened the box and started to eat.
"I can see that, hon," he chuckles.
A smile remains on Vince's lips while he get his phone from his pocket and looked at his wife through it.
"Honey," he called then positioned his phone above, "smile!"
"Delete that one, hon! Hindi naman ako naka smile ng maayos, pasubo ako doon, eh!" Tricia complained.
"Maganda ka naman, walang problema."
"Sus! Bumanat pa!"
"Uy kinilig."
"Hmp!" She playfully hit his chest as she shyly looks away from her husband.
"Alam mo, hon, okay lang naman kiligin sa akin. Yung mga ganyang bagay dala na 'yan ng ka-guapo-han ko," he winked at his wife.
Tricia couldn't stop laughing when she saw her husband quickly sit up.
"Hon, dito ka. Sandal ka sa'kin," Vince told her then positioned Tricia between his legs as he gently locked his arms around her waist.
"Pst! Dumadamoves ka ata mister!"
"Gusto ko lang yakapin ang misis ko."
She frowned but lets him.
"Huwag pilyo ha, kilala kita!"
"Oo naman, honey," he smirked at his wife meaningfully then stole a kiss from her.
Vince let Tricia rest in his chest while they spoon feed each one with the spaghetti as they keep talking.
"Honey, ang bilis mo naman kumain."
"Ang sarap kasi," she giggles.
"Are you sure you want to share that with me? Parang kulang pa sayo yan, eh."
"Nang-aasar ka ba, mister?"
"Hindi, nagsasabi lang po," he stole a kiss from her then hugged his wife more tightly.
"Hmp!"
"Love you, hon."
"Love you too!"
-----
Until Vince couldn't hold it any longer, he started nibbling his wife's neck.
"Hon, we're eating. Stop that," Tricia tried to stop him, "you're leaving marks!"
"What's wrong? You're mine, honey."
"Yes, but we're—"
Without further ado, Vince quickly get the spag-box from Tricia and puts it down on the nightstand.
"I love you, Tricia," he started caressing her as he continues to plant marks on her neck, "I've heard mornings will always be the best time for this, honey."
"Vince!" Tricia hit his arms and was about to escape him when her husband didn't let her.
"Where you think you're going?"
"I thought we're eating, hon?"
"Honey, I'm just starting," Vince quickly took off his shirt then grinned at her.
Tricia glared at him, "what are you doing?!"
Vince wiggled his brows, "hon, ikaw lang nag-eenjoy sa kinakain mo. Dapat ako rin."
"No! Vince!"
"What?"
"Stop it!"
Tricia took the chance to get off their bed but Vince was fast and strong enough to pull her back which caused her to fall above his chest.
"Don't resist it. As far as I can remember, ilang araw mo rin ako sinungitan, honey."
Vince run his hand inside her blouse then took off her bra in an instant, Tricia was still in shock but he managed to own her lips.
*knock knock*
"Mama! Papa ice cream!
"Oh shoot!" Tricia almost cussed as she quickly withdraw from Vince.
She swore she heard him groaned.
"Sh*t. Honey, put your bra back on," Vince told her then search for his shirt to put it on also, "ang wrong timing naman ng bunso natin."
Tricia could only giggle from her husband's reaction, she noticed him waiting for her before he open their door.
"Hon, are you done?" He asks.
"Yes, hon"
Vince let his wife do what she wants when she suddenly cupped his face then owned his lips one more time.
"Ayan, guapong-guapo."
He didn't think twice to close their gaps again and could feel his wife smiling.
*knocked again*
"Mama? Papa?"
This time they heard it was Halley.
"Stop na, hon," Tricia giggles as she pulled away from Vince.
"Sige, mamaya ulit?"
"I'll think of it!"
Tricia then reached the door to open it and there they saw their kids waiting for them.
"What took you so long to open the doors po?" Adan frowned at them as he crosses his arms above his chest.
"Sorry, baby boy," Vince chuckles.
"What do you kids need?" Tricia.
"Nothing, mum, we just want to call you and Tito Vince. We cooked for breakfast," Abbey told them.
"Wow, really? Thanks," Vince.
"Why do I see a paper bag of Jollibee inside your room, Mama? Papa?" Halley raised her brow to their parents.
"Jollibee?" Adan exclaimed.
"I thought no fast food for breakfast po tayo?" Abbey added.
"Wala," Vince said then gently pushed the kids away from their room.
"And why do I see a messy r—"
"Ang daming tanong, ate," Vince cut Halley off making her frowned at him, "let's just go downstairs, diba nag luto kayo for breakfast."
"Oo nga, let's go na," Tricia added.
Adan quickly hold Abbey and Halley's hand and pull them downstairs, "Mama! Papa ice cream! Follow us po downstairs ha!"
"Yes, baby!" Tricia.
"Okay," Vince.
The couple sighed in relief when the kids left them. Both were about to comfortably head back inside their room to fix their mess before they head downstairs when Halley went back up.
"I just couldn't help not to notice but you guys are tots obvious! Papa, your hair was way too messy. If your excuse is that you just woke up, throw it. I saw your canvas downstairs so I'm pretty sure kanina pa kayo gising. And you also mama, love marks on your neck. Next time try to be a little discreet 'coz you guys have such observable kiddo!"
