Greg's pov
Tonight was the concert,my mom isn't really ok with me going to bars so I normally lie to her.but since I'm taking Alex I need to make the lie more convincing,I knocked on Alex's room door and opened it.I saw her looking at herself in the mirror, she was wearing a necklace ive never seen before."where did you get that?"I asked, she turned around and noticed me."oh!Krist made me this,Isn't it beautiful?"she replied,"I told him that he didn't have to but he insisted,I'm going to make him something nice too soon."she said."that's sweet, and I hate to change the conversation but we need to get serious for a moment."i said,"what is it?"she asked.I sighed,"look,my mom doesn't know that the guys sometimes perform at bars.and when they do,I lie to her and tell her they're performing like radio shack or something."I explained.
"So what you're trying to tell me is that you want me to lie?"she asked,"bingo!"I confirmed."now, when my mom tries to ask you where we are going say that we're going to a college, understand?"i said, she nodded."ok,ok,good.maybe we'll have a shot at this."i said confidently,"are we going now?"she asked."yep."I replied,"ok."she said.she grabbed something from the table,"what's that?"I asked."I made Krist a ring,"she replied,"I know he doesn't like necklaces or bracelets so I made him a ring."she explained."awww,I'm so glad you two are dating."i said, she blushed."we're not technically dating Greg."she said,I groaned."come on!just say that you're boyfriend and girlfriend already!"I whined, she looked down.
