Chapter 34
Leon was fighting Esmerelda. She was really good at combat. Leon found that he could barely keep up with her agility.
"You will be arrested! Just like your precious NH buddy!" She screamed at him. Leon tried to counter her attacks with his own, but found himself too distressed to. He was extremely worried about Anya. What was the Master doing to her? Leon's brain was going to burst at the anxiety.
Leon swiped at her, but missed giving her a shot. She hit him to the other side of the room. He hit his head on the wall, making him momentarily dizzy. Esmerelda laughed.
"You're going down!" She said.
"Not if I can help it!" Fernando said standing over a few of the Hunters who had attacked them.
"You! You think so? Well be careful what you wish for!" Esmerelda lunged at him. Fernando easily caught her and threw her backward.
"I should say the same." Leon saw Fernando's eyes glow yellow. Fernando held his hands out in front of him. "You're going down."
Leon saw lightening flash and crackle all the way to Esmerelda. She was hit and immediately fell to the floor, unconscious.
Leon was flabbergasted. "How did you do that!"
"It's my Ability. I can summon lightening as I please." Fernando said.
Leon nodded. Relieved that Esmerelda was out of the way. Now he could focus on finding Anya.

Sam ran down the halls sniffing for Leon's scent. He was close, Sam knew it.
There were a few Hunters in Sam's way, but he just barreled passed them. He didn't have time to mess around with some weaklings. He knew that all the higher up's would try and find Leon, and not guard the halls.
'Let's hope Leon's holding his own against these guys.' Sam kept running until he heard something. It sounded like a gunshot to Sam. He followed the sound towards a large corridor. He saw Leon on the floor clutching another person. They had been shot by a blue bullet. Sam saw that a guy with a gun and long white sword was standing over Leon. Leon had a pleading look on his face.
"You don't want to do this!" Leon was saying. "You know us. We're kids of your workers! Do you really want to kill us?" Leon said holding tight to the unconscious person. "Think of your children!"
"My kids have nothing to do with this!" The man said.
"We are friends with them, so yeah, they do. I just want to find Anya and get out of here! Is that so much to ask?"
The man paused for what seemed like centuries. "Yes." Was all he said. Sam chose then to barge in, changing himself beck into a human.
"Sam!" Leon yelled.
The man turned around looking Sam in the face. Sam was flabbergasted to see that it was Milo's father, Ryuu.
"Why, it's you! Samuel!" Ryuu said.
Sam was shocked, to say the least. "What are you doing?" Sam yelled. He was a little too shocked at the fact that his boyfriends dad was about to kill Leon. He wasn't going to concern himself with why Ryuu was there. Not now, anyway.
"My job." Ryuu replied solemnly. Sam caught that and was curious as to why he sounded that way.
"You don't have to do it." Sam said. "You could let them go and say they got away. You don't have to hurt them."
"You don't understand. I must capture at least one of them." Ryuu said, sounding a bit desperate. Sam wanted to know the reason behind his tones of voice. Was he going to get in trouble if he doesn't catch them? And if so, what will happen to him if he does get in trouble?
Sam shook his head. "I'm sorry. But I can't let you do that."
"Then I must eliminate you." Ryuu turned the gun on Sam and fired. Sam dodged and jumped at Ryuu, punching him in the jaw launching him right through a wall.
Sam stood up straight and went to Leon.
"Sam!" Leon had tears in his eyes. "He'll get up! He's not just some old man, he's a Hunter who's got some serious skill! We have to go!"
Sam nodded. He took off his necklace and handed it to Leon. "Hold on to him," Sam said pointing at the unconscious boy in Leon's arms. "And don't let go. Press this button and you will be Transported to safety. Okay?" Sam placed the necklace into Leon's free hand.
"But-"
"Do it. I'll be right behind you." Leon bit his lip. Tears streamed down his face.
"Anya..." Leon said quietly.
"I promise to get her back. Just go." Sam placed his hand on Leon's head and stood up. Leon pressed the button and disappeared in a flash of red light.
Ryuu came into view. He used his sword and stood up to come through the hole that he made.
"They're gone?" He said breathing heavily.
"Yes."
Ryuu exhaled sharply. "You shouldn't have done that!" He held up his sword.
Sam braced himself. He was going to fight Ryuu.
And there was no getting out of it.

Kari struggled to get up.
She was losing to this shirtless bastard.
The black tentacles circled around her and struck her, sending her flying backwards.
She slowly got up, coughing up blood. She held her hands up and charged towards the Master.
"It's futile you know." He said as she was slapped by the tentacles yet again, a few of them impaling her. "Why don't you just give up and leave Anya to me? Or better yet," He said laughing. "Why don't you stay also? It'll be grand fun, don't you think?"
"STOP TALKING TO ME YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!!!" Kari charged again enraged. She would not let him have Anya. No matter what.
She wouldn't lose.
'I have to destroy this bastard...'
Her anger grew with every passing second.
'He needs to burn...'
She felt her body become hot.
'Burn!'
Her hands began to smoke.
'In the deepest part of Hell...!'
She didn't notice it and before she knew it, her hands caught on fire. Kari was too enraged to even care. She just wanted to get the Master.
She managed to get through the wall of tentacles using the flames and reached the Master. She kicked at his face while he simple moved out of the way. She managed to land a fiery punch to his jaw. He grabbed her hand and knocked her onto the floor, her head hitting the ground with a thwack!
She felt a wave of pain and dizziness overtake her. Her flames went out as she felt Marcus straddle her.
"My, my. So much anger in a little body. I enjoy that fiery spirit of yours Kari. I hope you're the same- in bed." He whispered the last two words in her ear, making her shiver. He started to lick (and she means lick) her neck. "Mmm your sweat has a nice flavor." Kari couldn't even retch at that, she was too weak. "I can't wait to taste the rest of you." Kari couldn't even struggle. She felt weak and her vision started to darken. He started to kiss her lips.
She couldn't believe that she lost.
She couldn't save Anya.
Hell, she couldn't even save herself.
She was too weak.
"GET OFF HER YOU BASTARD!!!!!" She heard a familiar voice come into the room. She was groggy but she could tell it was Sam. She felt the weight of the Master lift off of her.
"How dare you!" The Master proclaimed a few feet away from her.
"Fuck you." Sam said.
Kari blacked out.

Sam had never been as angry as he was now. Seeing the Master kissing Kari like that pushed him over the edge.
He wasn't going to let this bastard get away with this.
"You think you can beat me?!" The Master screamed. Thick black tentacles started to circle Sam.
Sam suddenly felt a wave of nausea threaten to over take him. He stood his ground.
"There is no way you could beat me!! So you might as well leave Kari and my new Captain with me!" The Master said.
The tentacles rushed at Sam. Sam dodged a lot of them, but was still hit by a few. Sam, while still dodging a majority of the tentacles, went for the Master.
The Master's face grew more angry. He put up his fists and punched at Sam. Sam grabbed his outstretched arm and tossed him at a table. The Master fell right through it.
Sam felt his nausea grow when he touched the Master. 'Is this because of the Dark Magic?' Sam thought. 'I should find a way to finish him quickly so we can get out.' Sam looked around the room. 'There's an idea.' He eyed the large window.
The Master was getting up when Sam lifted him high into the air. Sam threw him as hard as he could through the closest window.
Glass shattered everywhere. The Master flew out into the snowstorm. Sam felt the freezing winds whip at his face. He went to an unconscious Kari, who was smoking. Sam had no time to wonder about that.
Sam picked her off the ground. Her body was really warm. He saw that she still had her necklace. He was going to need that.
He turned when he heard chains clanging. He saw Anya chained to a bed, bloody and naked. Sam felt his anger grow more. Did the Master dare to hurt Anya like that? Was that what he wanted to do to Kari?
Sam felt more nauseous. He went to the bed and placed Kari on the far side of it. He broke the chains that Anya had off. He removed his coat and motioned Anya to wear it.
"Thank you." She said as she put it on. She was trembling as she cried.
"I'm sorry for not getting here sooner."
"But you did come in the end. Leon is safe already?" Sam nodded.
She placed her head in her hands and cried more. Sam wanted to comfort her, but was afraid of touching her because of all her wounds.
His nausea started to make him dizzy. He told Anya to hold onto him as he sat down on the bed. He put Kari in his lap and Anya grabbed his arm. He heard a loud noise coming from outside of the room as he pressed the button and Transported.
