~~Lexi's POV~~
I was shocked to say the least. "W-What?" I turn to James who has the same expression, he looks at me and shrugs his shoulders. I look back to Ben and Danny. "I-I mean that's great you guys!" I clasp my hands together, and lift myself up off the couch.
If my uncle is gay then I'm going to respect that. I have no hatred towards those life styles by any means. I just can't believe that They're really gay...
I sit down next to Ben and wrap my arms awkwardly around him. His, along with Danny's frowns both turn into smiles. "I'm so relieved that you are okay with this, Lexi. Not only Ben, but I was also scared of rejection from you and James." Danny says. James. We all look over to James who has a smirk plastered on his face.
"Does this mean you tak-"
"Don't even say it, James." Ben warns.
~~Next Day~~
~~Lexi's POV~~
I'm now eating bacon and eggs with the guys, well Danny and Ben anyways. James is still sleeping on the couch.
"Hey, Lexi. Go wake up James, Ben and I want to get out of the house and go on a walk and you two are going to come with us. Okay?" I smile at them and get up from my seat.
"Kay, Danny." I run into the hallway and down into the living room. I see James laying on him back with his head laying on the couch, mouth slightly ajar. I smirk as an idea pops into my head.
I sneakily walk over to the couch and gently lay myself on top of him so that my back is against his chest. He groans a "Get off of me.." I giggle at his reaction.
"Not until you wake up." I say trying to hold back my laughter. I feel him shift beneath me.
"Lexi, I swear to God, if you don't get off of me there will be hell to pay..." He says. But I just giggle at him. Suddenly I feel his arms wrap around me. I squeal at his sudden action. He shifts his body so that his back is to the back of the couch and we're both laying sideways on the couch. I try to get out of his hold, but his arms don't budge.
I try to stop my giggles, but they won't stop. "J-James let me go!"
He moves his head to the crook of my neck and whispers, "Nope. Your stuck with me now."
"I told you to wake him up, not lay with him, Lexi." I look up to see Danny.
"Hey, I tried, but now I'm stuck." I hear James laugh beside me and wrap his arms tighter around me.
~~2 hours Later~~
We had been walking for about and hour in the park. Danny holding hands with Ben, and James holding my hand. We hadn't really seen anything interesting, but just being out was interesting enough. Seeing the birds and animal scamper around was just interesting in general.
I walk over to a nearby bench and sit down, James follows my lead and sits down. Only his expression is deep in thought as for me, mine is calm. "What's wrong James..." I whisper to him.
He look over to me. "You know we've never been on an 'actual' date.." I just nod to him. "Wanna go out tonight?" He says slyly.
"Where to?"
"I was thinking... maybe the movies?"
I put my hand on James thigh, pressing a kiss to his lips. "I would love to."
~~At The Movies~~
"You never told me this was going to be horror, James, I hate horror." I whimper out as yet another person gets stabbed in the movie.
"I thought you would like it." He says simply not even looking at me, but the movie instead.
Confusion takes over. 'He's probably just really into the movie' I think to myself. I reach over to his hand and try to lace my fingers with his, but he rejects my hand and pushes it back over to me. I frown at his sudden action. I thought this was supposed to be a date.
~~After The Movie~~
It started to rain just as James pulled up to the house. He didn't say anything to me as he shut off the car and went inside.
This date was awful. James barely paid any attention to me. 'Maybe he just isn't feeling well..' I think to myself as I unbuckle my seat belt and open the door. I step out into the cold, musty rain and walk towards the house. It's only then that I realize Danny and Ben aren't home yet. They decided to go on their own date night like James and I did.
I walk up to the door which is still slightly ajar. I slip in and close the door behind me. "James!" I call out into the almost seemingly empty house. I get nothing in response. Worry starts to fill me. I walk down the hallway in an almost panicked state. I walk past the kitchen only to step back and find James facing the back wall in the kitchen. "James?" I say quietly, "are you okay?"
He doesn't move. "You know how in the movie, the main character comes off seemingly innocent then turns on everyone he loves; killing them in the evilest ways known to mankind?"
"James, w-what are you t-talking about?"
He slowly turns around, knife in hand, and grin on his face. His eyes were clouded over, and this was not who I thought it was. This wasn't James. He took a step closer. I took a step back. He took a few more steps forward and picked up his speed.
I tripped over my own feet and almost fell, but I quickly picked myself up and ran down the hallway. I looked back to see James still on my tail. I quickly scurry to the front door of the house. I open it and stop turning around. James has stopped too and is now only a few feet away. "James, please you don't have to do this!" I yell over the booming thunder.
"You see though, Lexi, I do have to do this. Now wanna play killer and victim?" He says evilly low. I shake my head taking a few steps backwards, before turning around and running into the front yard.
My shoe slips in the mud and I go tumbling down into the mushiness of the ground. I look behind me. James isn't there anymore. I huff out try to pick myself up. Just as I get only my hands and knees I hear a voice next to me.
"Ready to die?"
A/N- Hey guys so sorry if this was crappy. There were a lot of jumping from scene to scene, but I hope you like it anyways. Besides that, for the celebration of 2,000 reads on the story I will be posting the chapter tomorrow. Again thank you all for 2K and if you liked this chapter PLEASE...
