"Joelle", my mom shouted from downstairs "Come, your father and I want to talk to you".
"Coming", I shouted back to her.
My parents has always been very strict, especially to me and Joseph because we are the oldest. So when one of them tells you to come, you basically have to.
I walked down the stairs and in to the living room. There I found my parents and Joseph wating on me. I made eye contact with my brother and his facial expressions told me that he had no idé why they wanted to talk to us.
"What we will tell you now", my father began.
Mom continued "You must not tell anyone"
"I promise", both me and Joseph said at the same time.
"Good", father said with his strict voice.
"We have never told you how we make money right?", mom asked us.
"No, you haven't", Joseph answered steptical.
"We're gonna tell you now", mom said in a sweet tone.
And they did. They explained that we part of group people who does illeagal things. They told us that we owned a mafia. And that one day, either me or Joseph would become the new owners of this mafia. They told us everything. What they do, how they do it, why they do it. Everything.
In the the end of the converation father claped his hands together telling us to be quiet, because he was about to say something important.
"Everyday now, you will train to become a part of the mafia", he said.
"Yes father", we answered with one mouth.
