When she was 16, she ran away from her foster home in San Diego and went to Los Angeles to kickstart her dream of becoming a famous race car driver.
~ Personal life: Frankie's interest in cars and mechanics started when she around 8. Her foster father at the time, Carl, was always tinkering around in his garage. It was there that she first learned the basics, and as she got older, that's all she wanted to do. When she got her license, and saved up enough money for her first car, that's when she discovered street racing. Everyday from that day forward, she was either in the garage she worked at, on the track practicing, or racing.

When Frankie was in Rio, and Vince made it known he was, in fact, not dead, Frankie was beyond pissed. How could he leave her without a single word? She hated him. But when he was on his deathbed, she quickly forgave him.

~ How she met Dominic Torreto: In 2001, when she was only 20, she was considered to be one of the unbeatable racers. One night, during a street race, Dom challenged her to a quarter mile race. She agreed, of course, not knowing who the famous man was.
Frankie and Dom crossed the finish line at the exact same time.
It was then, Dom asked Frankie if she was interested in joining his crew. She was hesitant at first, but it quickly became one of the best decisions of her life.
