TOMMY's POV
"Ok, can we go back to your place now I am tired?" she asked while yawning
"yeah sure let's go," I said as I got up, gave her my hand, and pulled her to her feet. we then headed to the bikes and went back to my place. When we got to my place she snuck around to my bedroom window on the second floor, while I went inside and opened it letting her in.
when she got through the window I closed it and she took her backpack off and headed to my bathroom. As I heard her have a shower I lay on my bed and listened to my walkman through my headphones the song that was playing was "eye of the tiger by Survivor" after the song had finished I heard the door of the bathroom open reviling Cory walking out whilst drying her long brown wet hair. She was wearing a long light blue nightdress that stopped just above her ankles.
"what?" she asked me as she hung up her towel and sat on the bed next to me. even though she was sitting next to me I was still a fair bit taller than her as she is only 5'3 while I am 5'10.
"Nothing I'm just not used to...." I started but before I could finish she cut me off
"seeing me in a dress, yeah I know It's so shocking," she said sarcastically as she tucked her hair behind her ears.
"Yeah well there's that but also you know what never mind" I started but as she looked into my eyes all the courage I had drained from my body.
"ok well I am just going to draw for a bit," she said as she got up and went over to her bag and got a book out
"you draw?" I asked
"yeah I do," she said as she smiled and sat on my window seat and started to draw
"can I see one?" I asked she just smiled and nodded before she flipped through her book and found a drawing to show me

"wow, you did that?" I asked in shock at how good the drawing was, the drawing was a king cobra in amongst some roses and leaves.
"Yeah....." she said sounding a little nervous
"This is amazing I had no idea the at you could draw," I said she just smiled at me and put her head down.
"I have never shown anyone my drawings before," she said and then looked me in my eyes
"well they are really good you can show me anytime that is awesome," I said this made her smile grow ten times bigger and she jumped up and hugged me.
"Can I see another one?" I asked
"Yeah sure you can look through it while I brush my teeth," she said as she got up and went back to the bathroom
as I was looking through her art book I found one labeled "the Perfect Twin Emily" this made me smile when I looked at the drawing but it dropped when I realized that she thinks Emily is better than her. I kept going through the book when I found some drawings that made me see a hidden meaning. As I look at a drawing of a girl holding a mask with a smile on it but the girl holding it was crying.
As I was Looking at this drawing Cory walked out of the bathroom and I turned to her.
"Cor is this how you really feel," I asked she just stood still and looked at the drawing I was showing her. she slowly nodded her head and told me to turn the page
when I turned the page I found another drawing of a girl screaming
I slowly put the book down and opened my arms Cory walked into them letting herself cry.
"I am t- trapped in my own mind Tommy," she said I just held her tightly and whispered in her ear while a rubbed her back
"it's ok. I'm here. I got you. you're safe with me." I said over and over until after about 30mins she stopped crying
"Hey, Cory... Hey look at me" I said as I lifted her chin so she was looking at me "you can tell me anything you know that right? I will always be here for you" I said she just nodded and nuzzled her head into my chest. I picked cory up and we both went and laid on my bed, Cory never let go of me until she fell asleep on my chest. after she fell asleep on my chest I slowly got up and went and had a shower.
when I finished in the shower I got dressed and walked out to find Cory still fast asleep. I was about to go to bed too when all of a sudden I hear a tap on my window. I go and look out the window and find Bobby and Johnny waiting for me to open it.
"Hey Tommy," they both said rather loud might I add,v making me put my finger to my lips and whisper for them to be quiet. They both looked at me confused until I pointed at cory who stirred slightly at the sound of the two guys.
"Oh" they both whispered and climbed through the window quietly. once everyone was in my room we all sat on the window seat.
"So why are you guys here?" I asked
"Oh well I wanted to see if Cory was ok and Johnny wanted to talk to you," Bobby said as he looked over at cory. Out of all of us, Cory and bobby have gotten pretty close she stays at his house most of the time. Bobby has a look of worry on his face when he sees Cory's art book on the end of the bed.
"did you look in that?" he asks sounding kinda stressed
"yeah she showed me. Why have you seen it?" I asked him
"no not that one but I have seen one of the drawings she did," he said
"with one did you see and when did she show you," I asked. Johnny just looked at both of not having any idea what we are talking about.
"well She gave me her English book so I could take notes and when I was looking through the book I saw a drawing I probably wasn't meant to see it but I did and I asked her about it and she just said it was an experiment, I didn't believe her but I dropped it," Bobby said
"oh, so you haven't seen her art book?"I asked
"no is there more drawings that are.... well dark?" bobby asked
"yeah they are really good drawings but they all have hidden messages that aren't so good," I said Bobby just nodded
"wait what Cory Draws?" Johnny asked finally catching a little of what we were saying
"yes" Bobby and I both said Bobby then went over to Cory's bag and Pulled out her English book showing us the drawing he saw.
"Wow now that is cool I never knew she could draw," Johnny said completely missing the meaning of the drawing 'oh god sometimes I wonder if we have hit him in the head too many times I thought to myself. After we finished looking at the drawing Bobby put the book back in her bag.
The boys and I spoke for a while longer and they told me about this Daniel Kid before they left and I went to bed on the window seat.
CORY's POV
her outfit
it is Currently 7:00 am and I have just woken up, I slowly get out of bed and notice Tommy asleep on the window seat. 'he looks so peaceful I hate to have to wake him, you know what I will wake him in a minuet' I thought to myself. I then went to the bathroom got dressed did my hair so that I was ready to go to school. Hopefully, this year will not be as bad as last year. ' I wonder if I will have to still be a loner or maybe I can hang with the boys' I thought to myself as I walked out of the bathroom and found Tommy there shirtless with his back to me I quickly turned around a pretended I was busy putting my clothes away so when he turned around he wouldn't see my blush. I then heard him
"Morning," he said and walked over to me " what classes do you have today?"
"Morning I have English first, Math, science, music, and then art" I replied
"oh ok Well I have Math, and science with you but I don't have any other classes Maybe one of the guys might have a class with you," Tommy said as he looked at his timetable
"Hey I was thinking we could go to the diner for breakfast," Tommy said as I picked my bag up and put it over my shoulder
"ok sounds good to me I will meet you at the bikes," I said and then walked to the window and began to climb down
TOMMY's POV
I woke up this morning to find that Cory was in the bathroom so I decided to get dressed. As I was looking for a shirt I heard the bathroom door open and Cory step out I then heard her stop walking and shuffle around. When I put a shirt on I turned around and was met with a bent-down cory putting things in her bag. 'oh shit ok don't look at her butt' I thought to myself
"Morning," I said and then asked her what classes she had. she stood up and turned to me and man she looked hot in that outfit. I picked up my timetable and found out that I had Math and Science with her.
"Hey I was thinking we could go to the diner for breakfast," I said to her
"ok sounds good to me I will meet you at the bikes," she replied and headed to the window and climbed out. after she was gone I finished getting ready and headed downstairs only to be met by my mother.
"Hey Mum," I said as I walked through the kitchen
"Hey Baby there is money on the table for lunch. Have a good day at school" she said as she kissed my cheek and finished putting breakfast on the table for my little brothers.
"ok bye love you," I said and then grabbed the money and headed to the door
"Love you too" was the last thing I heard before I closed the door and meet up with cory at the bikes
