AIRI
I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you
Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn zoo
I looked at Sandro who was singing along with the music here in his room as he blow dries my damp hair that late morning.
"That's the new Zedd song right?" I asked him, looking at his reflection in the mirror.
He nodded, smiling. "Yeah. It's good right?"
I pressed my lips together. Its good and it was giving me chills at the same time. I shivered. Like the song that says.
I shiver when I hear your name. I think about you, but it's not the same
I won't be satisfied 'til I'm under your skin
Putangina like a thousand times.
"Cinnamon?" Sandro interrupted me from my thoughts.
I looked at him in the mirror. "Huh?"
"Are you okay?" He asked then touched my forehead. "You're not having a fever naman. Is it your time of the month? Masakit ba ulit puson mo?" He asked, worried.
"No. I was just lost in my thoughts. The song is good Sandro. Do play it when you DJ." I replied with a smile.
He turned off the blower. "Is it Vinny? Are you thinking about Vinny?" He asked sternly.
"No Sandro. I am not thinking about him." I replied.
Sandro sighed. "I'll wait for you downstairs." He said and left.
Huh? Anong nangyari dun?
Confused, I still stood up and decided to look for something to wear. I found our couple hoodie from Nike and decided to wear it since its cold in Baguio. I also took the pair to give it to Sandro. After making sure I got everything inside my 2-year-old Christian Dior tote bag, I left his room and went downstairs. I saw him talking to Simon in the living room.
"I'm ready," I chirped. I gave Sandro the hoodie. "Suot mo." I told him.
He looked at me then smiled. "Okay."
"Bati na ba tayo?" I asked.
"Why? Did we fight?" He asked.
"Ihhh kasi mukha kang galit kanina." I answered, chewing my bottom lip.
Sandro chuckled and smiled. "I was just. Well, the fact that you dreamed about Vinny makes me think you were thinking about him."
I made a face. "I was just thinking about the song you were playing a while ago. Binibigyan mo kaagad ng meaning yung actions ko kanina tapos biglang nasama sa usapan si Vinny? Anong kinalaman?" I asked, raising my brows.
He gulped, looking at me.
"Feisty." I heard Simon mutter.
I glared at him. "What?"
He shook his head immediately. "Nothing. I'll go and start the car." He said and stood up, leaving us. Nagmamadali pa.
I turned back to Sandro. "Ano? Tatahimik ka lang?"
"I won't assume next time. I am sorry Airi." He apologized.
I only looked at him. He looked sincere. I smiled. "Okay. Suot mo na yung hoodie para umalis na tayo."
He nodded and wore the hoodie I gave him. After that he took my bag and placed his phone and wallet inside then hang it over his shoulder. His other hand held mine.
"Lets go?" He asked, smiling.
I only looked at him. Sandro chuckled and kissed me quickly on the lips then pulled me.
Again. That tingling sensation sparked in my veins. What is he doing to me?

SANDRO
My Cinnamon giggled as we stepped in the escalator when we went to the mall.
"Simon 'wag kang nakasimangot. Hindi mo bagay. Bagay mo magka-jowa." Airi teased.
Simon frowned. "Please don't mind me. I am enjoying myself." He responded.
I laughed. "You look like you are."
He rolled his eyes. "I am going to look around. Message me if we are going to eat." He said and walked the opposite direction.
"Ang sungit." Airi mumbled.
"Well he doesn't want to be a third wheel so let him be."
Airi smiled. "Let's continue our date then."
I nodded and put my arms around her shoulders as we entered the department store.
"What is that for?" I asked as she browsed the belt section.
"Sayo." She replied without looking.
"Why?"
She looked at me, frowning. "Palaging nalalaglag pantalon mo."
"Really."
Airi just rolled her eyes at me and tested the on me. It felt romantic. No one did this to me. Well. Except for my mom but she's not a girlfriend so its nothing romantic. She made me try two more before getting satisfied with the brown and black belt.
"Huyyy. Yung fave polo shirt mo oh meron sa female section ng brand." She chirped.
"Do you want to buy? I'll pay so we can have a couple shirt on that." I offered.
"No. I'll buy it myself. I have money. Hindi lang ikaw ang may pera." She replied, rolling her eyes. She took two shirt that was the same as mine in color. The red and the blue one.
Airi decided to pay after we walked around some more, even paying for the belt.
We walked around some more but did no longer buy any in the shops because we don't want to carry additional baggage when we return to London. I messaged Simon after an hour and told him we will go and drink some coffee in a coffee shop at the third floor of the mall.
"Kuya Sandro." I heard someone call my attention.
"Yes?" I turned to look at two girls smiling at me.
"Hala ikaw nga! Pwede po pa-pucture?!" The girl shrieked.
"Taga Ilocos Norte po kami. Uhm. Fans po." Her friend informed me.
I laughed. "Oh okay. Sure."
The girl gave her phone to Airi. Airi just looked at her.
"Just do it." I told her.
She gave me a look with her eyebrows raised and obliged.
"Thank you po!" They said and left after.
"Famous." Airi muttered.
I laughed. "Jealous?"
She made a face. "Hindi ko nature yan." I just laughed at her frowning face as we waited for our coffee.
"Sandwo." Airi called me.
"Yes Cinnamon?"
She smiled. I think she likes being called Cinnamon.
"Sa tingin mo after ilang taon, we can still hang around like this? Like normal couple?" She asked.
I nodded. "Of course. Why do you ask?"
Airi smiled. "What if suddenly you decide on doing something bigger and it will come to a point that you are no longer out of my reach? What if the world you are in will get smaller and the space between us will become bigger?" She asked.
There was a serious look on her face.
I chuckled. "What if it doesn't Airi? What if we stick to our ten-year goal? Airi, whatever happens out there, may it be in the future or tomorrow, we'll get over it. We're a team with SMART goals Airi." I told her with a reassuring smile. She only looked at me.
I took her hands and kissed them to make her feel assured I am sticking to the goal.
Whatever I will be or do in the future, I will make sure I am with the same woman who was with me when I was still no one.
