My middle school love

Love at first site?

It's the first day of 6th grade,I'm nervous.My friend Lisa is in my class,we became friends last year. Rose is in my switch class,she was my friend last year too.
The first day was going good,then during lunch Rose introduced me John."Hey Jayne can you talk to John for me?I kinda like him." And of course I will because she's one of my closest friends.I walk over to where he was sitting and say "hey I'm lyvia,I'm Roses friend.And as a friend,I'm obligated to talk to the guys that she is going to be hanging around." okay so maybe this wasn't the best way to start off but it was okay. "Why do you think me and Rose will be hanging out?"and on any other day I would try to be normal,but not today."Well,you see I can read guys like open books,I can tell what their thinking.So I know that you guys will."And as I said that,i realized he was cute.Of course I couldn't do anything because Rose was one of my closets friends,so I carried on. "Any way John,do you think Rose is pretty?"
"Umm....I guess so...."
"Good,so would you date..."and at that moment Rose covered my mouth.
"Hey!I was about to get you a boyfriend!" I said to Rose.
"Yeah and totally kill me mentally!"She said back loudly.
"Hey,you wanted me to talk to him,and this is what I get for a thanks?"
"No!I wasn't trying to thank you!"
John chimes in, "Umm, yeah I would like to maybe date Rose."
Rose's face got all red and she started smiling from ear to ear. I was happy for her, I did a good thing. Right?
