Christian's POV
"Good morning," I said and tried to go up to her and kiss her and she stopped me. I just let her be so she didn't get mad at me. We all sat at the table and ate together. When the kids were done, they took their trash and then left the table, leaving just Cassie and I.
"Are you leaving the house at all today?" She asked and I furrowed my brows. "I take that as a no."
We just sat there for a few minutes before I decided to talk. "I don't plan on leaving. But this morning, I went to your parent's house and we made up." She nodded. "Cassie I'm sorry. I had no right to lay my hands on you like that. But you did the same thing. Once it happened, I felt so bad and I couldn't take it back. Just know that I regret it so much." She got teary eyed. "I'm sorry babe. I won't ever let it happen again."
"Christian, it's been hard being with you lately. And I have so much love for you and I'm so in love with you, but the way we've become lately, I just don't like this side of us. I miss when we first got together and everything seemed so easy. I want to go back to the times, when we became parents and we were at an all-time high. I just want to go back to our normal. I apologize, I shouldn't have laid my hands on you either. But hopefully since you apologized, we can go back to the way we were before, because I don't want to end up losing you." She got up and hugged me. And then when she felt better, she kissed my forehead.
"I don't want to face losing you. So we both need to do better." She nodded and then hugged me again. She didn't want to let me go. When she let go, she smiled at me. She fixed my hair and then kissed my lips for a few seconds.
"We never went for that swim last night. We didn't watch the Bachelor, or didn't have our desserts. So if you want to do that, I will be back in about two hours. I'm going to go workout and I'll be back to see you and the kids. I love you."
"I love you too," She said and let me get up.
Cassie's POV
I decided to clean around the house and make a few desserts for our little date day. "You okay?" Noah asked and I nodded.
"I don't want you to see me like that ever again. I promise to be better for you and your siblings babe."
"You good." He hugged my leg and then went back to the playroom. I made a box of treats for the kids to eat during our day.
"Daddy!" Bri yelled when he came through the garage door. He picked her up and kissed her face. He looked sweaty and was really cute.
"Hi gorgeous." He set her down and looked at me. "Damn, a dress?" I nodded and he covered himself up. He went upstairs and I followed him. "You look beautiful."
"You look very hot right now," I said and kissed him and he put his hands on my hips. He picked me up and started kissing my neck. I moaned and then got him to stop when I saw Mason standing in the doorway.
"What's up?" Christian asked him as he set me down.
"I get iPad?"
"Only for an hour bud." Christian grabbed it off the dresser and gave it to him. Mason gave him a hug and then left the room. "Okay, let me take a shower." I nodded and shut the door behind me as I left.
That's the most passion I've felt from Christian for a few months. And it was honestly the best thing ever. I sat on the couch and rubbed Brielle's back as she laid on me. "You're so beautiful," I whispered as she fell asleep. I started falling asleep with her, until all the boys came out and started being loud. "Please, put Brielle in her room."
He grabbed her off my chest and then came back a few minutes later. "Can we cuddle?" He asked and I opened my eyes. I got up and he went to sit down but I made him go to the fridge and get the strawberries for us.
We watched the Bachelor and fed each other the strawberries. On commercials, every time I tried to get up to check on the kids, Christian would pull me back down and start kissing me. When he did it again, I stopped him. "Let me go check this one time."
"Let's go together," He said and paused the commercial. I shook my head and laughed at him. They were laying in the loft upstairs.
"We have some snacks for you two. Come sit at the table and I'll set them out for you." They walked in front of us, and Christian was getting pretty handsy. "Babe, hold on." I grabbed some of the strawberries, some fruits, and some bowls of chips for them.
"We're going to be right here on the couch. Be careful." I sat there and stopped Christian from being touchy while the kids were out there. One of the kids started coughing, and we both turned around quickly and saw Mason choking again.
Christian jumped off the couch and ran to him. He started doing the heimlich on him and he was starting to turn blue in the face. "Christian!" I yelled getting nervous and Noah started crying because he saw we were stressed. He ran over to me and started crying against my leg. I started crying with him. Christian finally got whatever Mason was choking on, out.
"Mason," I said while crying and he held onto Christian.
"Both of you, calm down," Christian said and pulled us into a hug. "Mason babe, you really need to chew more." Mason started crying too.
"Come sit with me," I whispered to him and we all walked and sat on the couch. I rubbed both of their heads and Christian sat on the other side of Mason. "Put on a show." I gave Mason the remote and he chose a cartoon.
"You're alright," Christian told me and I nodded. "Calm down okay." It was such a scary moment because I thought I was going to lose my baby. I hated seeing him turn blue.
The boys started getting grumpy after a couple hours, so I put them down for their nap. "Fuck," I said as Christian chuckled. "That was so scary. Like last time, it just came up so easily. And this time, when he turned blue, I almost broke down even more."
"You can't yell my name when I'm trying to help him babe, that made me more nervous." I nodded and laid my head on his lap. "That was a very scary moment. Like I could feel his chest stop moving for a few seconds and I had already thought of the worst."
I couldn't even imagine losing one of the kids. And it just made me so scared to think of.
