Chapter Twenty5
All night I kept waking up to that burning feeling. It would course threw my body, I felt like I was going crazy. Everytime a wave of heat hit my body, Grinny would start purring, trying to calm me. He even tried getting me ice to cool me down, sadly his attempts were in vain. He would just lull me back to sleep with his purr. I was tired of waking up and falling asleep, so I just sat up ignoring the burn the best I could. Grinny woke up again, I kind of felt bad for waking him so much.
" Is it the symbol?" Grinny asked padding over to sit in my lap.
I nodded wiping a bead of sweat from my brow, my body was honestly that hot. I felt like I was in the middle of the desert, wearing like twelve pairs of heavy skii gear. Not a very smart idea for most. Grinny sitting in my lap didn't help. Slowly my body began to cool, my thoughts were practically reduced to mush. I looked at Grinny an evil look in my eyes. He looked at me a little scared as I quickly grabbed him and did what any crazy animal lover would do. Torture the poor animal with love.

Gosh I love animals, I couldn't help myself. When I woke up, Grinny was laying there sleeping wrapped up in a little ball. He looked so cute! I just couldn't keep my hands away from him, even with the pretests from my back I pulled him into my lap and began to cuddle him. He seemed a little taken back at first, but eventually relaxed into my hold. I was greatful he didn't freak out and try to kill me. I ruffled the fur on his stomach, making him gently swat at my hands as he purred even louder. Awwwwwww!
" What are you doing?" I was snapped from my animal obsession as Jack and Hoodie walked into the room, it was Jack that asked.
" I couldn't help myself..." I began to play with Grinny again, making him mew in protest.
There was nothing he could do to stop me... Let me rephrase that. Nothing other than transforming... He jumped away from me, doing so.
" Stop please...." He sounded out of breath as his chest continued to rumble with purrs.
Both Hoodie and Jack moved closer to me for protection. Hoodie turned to me, as Grinny leaned on my door catching his breath. His face was all flushed burning a bright pink. Jack just watched Grinny to be safe.
" Seriously?" Hoodie asked looking at me threw his mask.
"...Yeah." I replied as Jack turned to me with a syringe.
" He tried to kill you, yet here you are playing with him?" They both inquired they make it sound really bad...
" I can't help it... Have you seen me at a zoo?" I asked Jack taking my arm pricking the needle into it.
" Let me guess, they animals there fear you?" Jack asked he sounded like he'd be rolling his eyes.
Wow the room looked so much clearer, like wow. Though it was all moving quiet a bit.
" No, in fact they love me... The zoo keepers don't... So I get kicked out..." Maybe all this sleep, the waves of heat, and the drugs from Jack are making me a little loopy...
" Maybe you should cut back on the medicine." Hoodie pointed out noticing how I started to space out again.
Why would he stop? He's helping me..........
" I think your right..." Jack sounded like he was at a lost at what to say.
" I'm fine~" My words seemed to slur as the medicine began to kick in.
" Sure babe." Hoodie leaned in pulling his mask up a bit and placed his lips on my own.
I hummed into the kiss falling back, pulling him with me. He was shocked to say the least as he had to catch himself, so he wouldn't crush me. Jack took this as a que to leave us... Why? Wait no.... Yeah why...? No! Stop arguing with myself, new goal... I wonder how far I can tease my favorite Pasta. I kissed him harder running my hands down his chest.
" Ahhh Silver enough..." Hoodie warned as we finally pulled apart.
" Why?" I asked as I grabbed the top of his mask, pulling it out of his hand and off his face.
Gosh I love his eyes, so much. They're such a unique color, and with his hair they just pop. I pulled him in for another kiss arms wrapped around his neck, as he steadied his legs. He moved them so they were at either sides of my hips. Oh a bad move on his part. I brushed my legs upwards slightly, just to move in a general I had the need to stretch in wierd positions. He stopped all actions, he even shivered at the contact. I simply pulled him closer to me, I take it he liked that action... I moved my leg up once more, rubbing it against his pants. He shivered again, as he buried his face in the crook of my neck. His breaths came out in puffs as I pushed closer. It was fun teasing him, his reaction was interesting to say the least. He slowly pulled his face from my neck, face flushed as he pulled away from me quickly and moved to get off the bed.
" Did I do something wrong?" I asked grabbing on to his sleeve sitting up.
" No, I just don't want to do that to you when your like this." He shook his head.
Confusion littered my face as he ran a hand under his hood.
" What are you talking about?" I asked, I didn't want to do anything with him not yet at least.
" Your high, I'm not going to fuck you when your high..." He kept his face turned away from me.
" Fuck?" I asked confused, what was he talking about?
I didn't want to have sex, I wanted to tease him, see how far he would let me go. I really need to stop....
" I don't want to take that from you... not like this." He kind of whispered it pulling his hand from my own.
He turned around and kissed me one last time, before walking to the door. I could actually hear him talking.
" Make sure she doesn't get to close to you or Grinny." He was talking to someone right at the door.
" Why? Is it taking that bad of an effect on her?" Jack's voice asked as I got up and made my way to the door so I could hear better.
" She might just drive us both insane... again." Hoodie laughed, that's not nice!
" Your face is flushed, what did she do to you?" Jack asked.
" Let's just say she teased me..." Hoodie sounded like he was whispering, was he afraid to admit it.
" That's mean." I blurted out before quickly covering my mouth.
Between you and I... The moment was really awkward. It was dead silent as Hoodie opened the door and moved me away from it. I clung onto him, as he tried to push me onto the bed. He held me down with his hand, holding both of mine in his one. He leaned over me in a fierce stance. I could feel the anger radiating off his body as I tried to wiggle out of his grasp. Why is he being a dick to me? It's not my fault I'm like this....
" Why are you being so mean!" I yelled at him, once again he had his mask on again.
" I'm not." He laughed a little, as he pushed me down on the bed, " I'm doing you a favor."
" How so?" I asked glarring at him.
" Your a little... 'mad' right now..." He seemed like he didn't know how to respond.
In my mind I knew I was being stupid, but it was kind of funny. I mean watching myself act on the fact that I was higher than a kite is almost better then T.V. I will admit though, I felt pretty bad for Hoodie and Jack. They had to suffer my... moodyness. Great I'm about to start again...
I want a shower, but I don't feel like taking one alone. Maybe I can talk him into it...
" Promise you'll take a shower with me when you get back..." I whispered attempting to get my hands out of his again.
"..." The room fell silent once more.
I swear if we were anime characters they would both have sweat drops on they're heads. They're heads would be hung low, and probably be questioning my sanity. Hoodie let out a sigh.
" Will you stop if I agree?" He asked letting go of my hands.
I laid them on my stomach nodding, my face starting to burn. Why did I ask him that! Was I out of my mind! What the hell? I'm not ready to do that with him yet!
" Fine, but I don't know when I'll be back. So you have to be patient." He explained as he slowly got off of me.
" I wont wait forever..." I commented sitting back up.
" That's fine, if I don't I promise I'll make it up to you." He leaned in once more, pulling his mask up a little, and pressed his lips against mine.
I kissed him back gently, he smiled into it pulling me into a hug. He completely picked me up off the bed, and held me up. My hands rested on his chest and shoulders, as we kissed. Thank got I was calming down...
" You two done yet?" Jack's voice interrupted us dryly.
We pulled back, Hoodie setting me down again. Jack came over and handed me a familiar object.
" Here entertain yourself." He muttered handing me a laptop.
More specifically my computer. Ohh my baby, mamas back! I snatched it and retreated in my bed. My fingers glided with ease. Maybe now I can get rid of a bit of the insanity, at least for now. Hoodie slowly turned away, Jack on is tail. This was going to be a long boring day.
