After a whole day of goofing off with my cats and drawing and watching some anime, I didn't even realise that it was already nighttime. I had a warm bath, made another out-of-this-world meal for dinner and somehow managed to gobble it all up, got into my pyjamas and got ready to go to sleep. I let Chester and Timmy sleep next to me on my bed for company since I usually slept with my mother.
I turned off all of the lights and got on to my bed, snuggled up with my two cats and before I knew it I was fast asleep.
It was late in the middle of the night, but I couldn't sleep so well at one point. There were lots of tapping noises and sounds of people talking outside the house. Who could it be at this time of night? I had half a mind to go and see who it was, but as the thought of some armed robbers being outside crossed my mind, I wasn't so eager to go see who it was. I noticed Chester and Timmy who were soundly sleeping next to me were also up and alert. I started to get a little scared then. Usually my mom would be there to back me up at times like this but seeing as she wasn't in this occasion I got quite insecure.
Then again, this could be a little interesting, I thought to myself. This is the first time I'd have to go against some robbers or whoever by myself. I've always wanted some action in my life, so why not? But, then again, if something were to happen to me, it would definitely worry my mother to no end. While these conflicting thoughts were flowing into me, I suddenly saw a light flashing outside the window of my room. For a second I wasn't so sure if I should go and check it out, but then again I just put my fear aside and decided to go like man! Though I'm a girl...hehe.
I got off my bed and grabbed a baseball bat that was lying nearby and went near the window. I waited and listened for the people to go away from the window. Once I felt that the coast was clear I slowly opened the window and peeked outside. It was dark outside so I couldn't see properly. I looked here and there but I couldn't see anybody. Just then, I felt something soft touch my legs. Normally I'd slowly look down and see that is was Chester or Timmy, but seeing as I was scared to my wits already, instead of calmly looking down, I screamed as loud as I could.
After some panicking, I looked down to see that it was Chester and Timmy after all. I bent down and apologised to them for almost deafening them from screaming so loud. Just then, I heard footsteps heading our way. I quickly turned to the window in hopes of closing it, but as I did, I came face to face with a very mysterious looking person. He looked like a redhead, but I couldn't say properly because it was so dark, though I couldn't deny that those crimson red eyes were so bright they were as clear as day. He looked at me in surprise. I couldn't help but stare at him as well. My whole body went numb from the fear. After observing me thoroughly for sometime, he made a very evil looking grin.
"Looks like we've found her"
