With nowhere left to go, Xenovia turned to Rias as a last resort. Without purpose, Xenovia gave herself to Rias as her newly appointed Knight of Rias' Peerage, making their piece count a whopping 7 out of 16.

Wow. Big digit.

Much number.

Amano was unfortunately responsible for her, since she had also coincidentally been appointed to his class having transferred to Kuoh Academy.

Irina had decided to stick with her faith, and her pledge to the church only grew stronger as she sought to change the system within. Bringing order in her own way was her new goal, so seeing Xenovia devote herself to Rias, dubbed her a traitor.

The two parted, knowing not whether the next time they'd meet, would be as allies, or enemies.

"I'm absolutely livid!" Rias began, glaring into space as she sat with her legs crossed across a couch in the club room.

"The Governor General of the Fallen Angels has infiltrated my territory and interfered with my business." Rias announced.

"Rias all he did was ask for a picture..." Amano said with a sigh, on his phone was a selfie with him and a man with brown hair and a dyed blonde fringe holding up peace signs.

Amano was walking home from school with a yawn. He noticed a man walking past him on the sidewalk in a very casual and comfy traditional pajama set, a robe over his shoulders.

As they passed, the man gasped and turned back to Amano.

"You're that Devil that defeated the Original Sin!" He said with a smile.

"eh?"

"I have to thank you. I planned to send someone to handle it, but it was so short notice I had only one last resort I didn't want to use." The man said walking back up and shaking Amano's hand.

"Huh?"

"I'm Azazel, the Governor General of the Fallen Angles. Justice told me he was going to fix some wrong doings, but I didn't think he meant he'd attack the House of Gremory. My apologies." Azazel said, dumping a lot information.

"Uh... okay, okay. I think I get it," Amano said with a sigh.

"No problem. It was pretty tough, and I almost got my face burned off, but no hard feelings. It's nice to meet you." Amano said with a smile.

"What great manners. Do you mind if I get picture?" Azazel asked.

"Sure!"

Amano squinted his eyes as he recalled the interaction, wondering if he acted too casual.

"So... are there really going to be a bunch of leaders meeting here?" Koneko asked.

"There are. It's absolutely necessary after... you know..." Rias glanced at Amano, and as did everyone else.

"Don't do that. I had no idea." Amano said with a scowl, since they were referring to owning a Sin, or two.

"I received confirmation earlier. They are going to make a plan and discuss the future of our races standings." Rias summarized.

"I can't believe it's come to this. It's all so sudden." Xenovia sighed, standing beside Amano.

"Personally, I can't help but wonder what consequences will ensue from such a reveal... should we really tell them about Amano?" Kiba asked.

"To ignore such an existence is... it's just wrong." Akeno said with worry.

"Ouch." Amano rolled his eyes.

"S...Sorry. That was a pretty frightening battle. A Devil wielding Light is a phenomenon unheard of." Akeno said with a frown.

"Does Kiba not count?!" Amano asked.

"Not necessarily. Kiba can use it because of the imbalance in the attributes now that the pillars of order are gone. There's a difference between a Holy Devil Sword, a balance between the two, and a Holy Devil, the mixture of the two. It's as if Oil and Water mixed." Rias explained.

"Woah... great analogy." Amano praised, understanding the explanation.

"It hurts my very being... literally. I am excruciatingly weaker than before. I can only provide a small boost in power in regards to your moral compass and passion." Justice revealed.

"Whereas I give you the true strength of pure malice and violence. The manifestation of harm: True Damage. Guaranteed Pain!" Wrath exclaimed with glee.

"...You can tell which of the two are nutcases." Amano commented, barely dodging the slap of a tendril.

"I believe now is good time." A voice echoed, property of Sirzechs as he arrived with Grayfia at his side via teleportation circle.

"What are you doing here?" Rias asked in confusion.

Kiba, Koneko, and Akeno kneeled, but Amano happily trotted up to the Devil King and shook his hand.

"Hello, sir! Never got the chance to thank you for your blessing. I really appreciate you allowing me the chance at your sister, and I won't let you down." Amano said with an honest smile.

Sirzechs laughed and shook back, "The pleasure is all mine. I look forward to what you'll do for Devilkind."

"It's very good to meet you." Xenovia greeted, bowing beside Amano. "I've heard so much. My name is Xenovia."

"Pleasure to meet you Miss Xenovia. I hadn't believed my ears at first when I heard the Durandal User had joined my sister. What a beautiful and intelligent decision you've made." Sirzechs commended.

"Thank you." Xenovia said graciously.

"Um, you've yet to tell me what you've been doing here exactly?" Rias asked again.

"You honestly don't know? Isn't it almost time for open house?" Sirzechs asked.

"What?! No way! You can't! Not a chance!" Rias denied, seating her hands out repeatedly.

"If you mean you I can't wait to see my little sister in action at school, then you're absolutely right." Sirzechs said with a smile.

"Was it you, Grayfia?! Did you tell him? Be honest." Rias asked with a pout.

"Oh, I almost forgot," Sirzechs interrupted, saving the maid, "Father will be here too."

"Ugh, you can't just leave like that. You have work to do. You're the Devil King— you have responsibilities." Rias argued, knowing full well it wouldn't stop him.

"No, actually, this counts as work too." Sirzechs began with a smirk. "This seems like a lovely place... for the Summit." He announced.

"Woah, bro, that can't be a good idea— I mean we literally have issues here like... weekly. Supernatural crime rate is at an all time high!" Amano reasoned.

"Have faith, Amano... we are the leaders of the three Factions after all." Sirzechs replied with a wink.

Amano and Xenovia were relaxing on his couch, because of course, where else would she stay. After her conversion, it was her residence of interest, and Amano didn't mind sleeping on the couch.

Xenovia was groaning as she looked over her homework, the math equations stumping her over the use of words and letters.

"Who decided the alphabet should be in math?" She muttered, and Amano shrugged.

"Uh, letters make numbers... and words in general. You kinda can't have anything without the alphabet." Amano commented.

"Quit your sarcastic remarks and help me. The words confuse me. Why can't they just give me the equation..." Xenovia cursed with gritted teeth.

Amano took the notebook and converted each question into a basic equation so that she could complete the homework at a much faster rate.

Xenovia quickly finished within the next three minutes and nodded.

"For someone so... you... you're pretty smart." Xenovia 'complimented,' in a way.

"You're sleeping on the couch." Amano said standing up.

Xenovia quickly grabbed his waist and prevented him from moving further, and thus the struggle for the much more comfortable mattress began.

~•~

Amano was glaring into space with bags under his eyes. They spent more time roughhousing for the bed than actually sleeping.

She was so adamant on sleeping in the bed, but Amano was too competitive to just lose, despite being fine with the couch.

Xenovia look bright eyed, fueled for the day ahead after a good night's rest on his waterbed.

Amano stopped just before the bridge of Kuoh Academy, and leered at two individuals standing beside each other, who slowly turned to face him.

The most distinctive attributes of the two, were one man's silver hair, and the other's white robe over a flock of brown hair.

If it weren't for being in public, Amano would've matched the two's auras of power with his own, but he could only glare as they looked down on him condescendingly.

Xenovia recognized the cloak as a veil of the church, and even she wanted to pull out her sword in response to such a sight.

"No, need to be hostile, Pawn. I mean no harm as of the moment." The silver haired pretty boy began. "My name is Vali, the White Dragon Emperor, but you can call me the Vanishing Dragon."

"Issei Hyoudo. The Red Dragon Emperor, and Welsh Dragon." The robed brunette responded.

"Issei...?" Amano muttered in disbelief, recalling the name from not long ago... he could've swore he died, but then again, here was Amano after the same predicament.

"Amano. It's nice to see a familiar face. How are Matsuda and Motohama?" He asked with a smile.

"They've been... awfully normal. Did... they have their memories wiped?" Amano asked with concern. "Unfortunately. I miss them..." Issei answered.

"...Wait... What do you two want?" Amano said furthering his guard, feeling a Holy presence from Issei, but a mix from Vali.

"This was mainly an introduction. We've heard of you feats," Vali appeared in front of Amano, but he was shocked to see that the two had simultaneously pointed each other's palms at their faces.

"A bit close, Vanishing Dragon." Amano said with a smirk, before snapping his fingers.

Vali looked behind him, and even Issei looked where he though Amano would be, but when they looked back, not even Xenovia was there.

"Woah, the quiet kid's a badass now." Issei said with a chuckle.

Amano and Xenovia had successfully made it to homeroom after the encounter, and was a bit startled to see every kid's parents lined up as they awaited the day of recreational activities.

"Oh. Forgot about open house." He mumbled to himself. "This couldn't get anymore boring." Xenovia commented, passing him to walk to her seat.

The class was all presented with blocks of clay, tasked with making something meaningful to themselves, and Amano only gave a blank stare at the grey blob before him.

'Well, it's mainly Rias, but I have no idea how to sculpt.' Amano thought with a sigh.

'Rias?! What about power?!' Wrath asked, coiling around his hand.

'What about it? That's not what's meaningful to me. It's not what I live for. That's more of like... what I need in order to have what's meaningful to me.'

'Like hell! You've spent weeks growing nothing but stronger! You mean to tell me it's all been for the redhead?' Wrath questioned.

'Uh... for the most part. She kinda gave me a reason to keep going. Before being a Devil I felt like some random speck of dirt on this massive planet.' Amano replied.

'Unacceptable. You may think that, but after meeting the two Sky Dragon Emperors... you know what needs to be done.' Wrath whispered, making Amano clench his hand on the clay.

All the noise slowly died down as Amano went to work, and even the parents had slowly stepped closer to get a look at his work. While gruesome and precise, it made for quite a beautiful creation.

Amano had created a battlefield, mashing down the clay to a flatter state to make hills with all kinds of weapons littered within them. At the center, stood one individual with single sword, looking down at a mangle corpse.

Most of this was not Amano's doing, and was via the guidance from Wrath.

Parents awed, and students whispered and murmured as the teacher walked over.

"Mr. Amano, may I ask what your inspiration was?" The teacher asked, with a stern tone.

"...It's when I'm at peace." Amano answered. "After the struggle is over."

Amano was kicked out of class despite his amazing art work, and he rolled his eyes at the reason why.

'It's not a suitable piece for this positive environment...' he recalled.

'Hypocritical bullshit...' Amano thought as he began to walk away, holding his creation and incasing it in ice seeing no one around.

Amano decided that he wouldn't participate in open house any further. He locked himself away in the club room and decided to hang out in there until the day was over.

Open house should've been wrapping up as he woke from a nap. He checked his phone and saw it had actually ended five minutes ago.

Not even a minute later, however, Rias arrived with a frown, but grew elated seeing Amano.

"There you are! What happened? I couldn't find you anywhere." Rias said with concern.

"Got kicked out of first period for some art. Just couldn't have been bothered to do it for six more." Amano said with a scowl.

"You ditched open house? Ugh, my brother and dad were looking for you," She quickly smiled. "However maybe it's better they missed you. I did want to introduce you to Serafall Leviathan, but then Sona would get upset."

"The Sky Dragon Emperors were here today." Amano revealed.

"What?!"

"You can ask Xenovia. This morning, they introduced themselves to me... Vali, The Vanishing Dragon, and Issei Hyoudo, The Welsh Dragon." Amano continued.

"Did they say what they wanted? I know that the Vanishing Dragon is affiliated with the Fallen Angels at the moment, but—"

"He's definitely an Angel." Amano exclaimed. "Damnit... So they snatched him first—" Rias quickly covered her mouth, and turned away.

"It's fine, Rias." Amano responded, shaking his head. "Not like he can beat me anyway." Amano said with a shrug, making Rias feel more guilty than before.

"I'm sorry. Now, I am in rush, so I do have one last request while Akeno and I set up for the Summit later today," Rias began, switching topics. "I need you to quell my other Bishop."

"Other Bishop? We have another Bishop?" Amano asked in disbelief.

"Yes. Thought to be too powerful, they were sealed away here under my brother's orders. Until now. He has declared its time they be released." Rias said, walking to the door.

"Wait, can I get some help?! I don't know what I'm up against! Do I knock them out?!" Amano panicked.

"I'm in a hurry, so I'll make it quick! She's dangerously weak to Holy or Light elements, because she is Half Dragon Half Vampire— make sure not to let her get your blood, because that might make her sick! Gotta go!" Rias rambled, all the information nearly leaving Amano's head as soon as it emerged.

Rias waved with a smile, quickly dashing away to set up for the Summit.

Amano suddenly felt a tremor come from the left of the club room. He knew exactly where it came from, and walked out and around to the boarded up room down the left hall.

He slowly approached the door, and watched as a red seal-sigil began to dematerialize. The more it faded away, the more powerful the banging behind the doors became.

Amano's hair slowly turned white, glowing with colors of the rainbow as he awaited the seal to be destroyed.

With one loud crash, Amano leapt back, dodging the stab of a massive black a neon green tail. It tore through the floorboards and followed after him, and he twisted out of the way, sliding back further as a set of glaring orange orbs appeared in the dark of the room.

"Alright. I've got an hour to put you in your place. Hope you're ready." Amano smirked.
