While Agent Kirbrine is having breakfast at Ylhaya Facility's cafeteria, Agent Season appears out of nowhere and sits next to him.

The situation has become awkward for Agent Kirbrine because he's been ignoring Agent Season for a few weeks. Both of them don't talk, but Agent Season tries to get Agent Kirbrine's attention by doing obvious actions like staring at him. Unfortunately, Agent Kirbrine is consistent in ignoring Agent Season.

Agent Minion entered the cafeteria and summoned Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season to the meeting room. Without further hesitation, Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season follow Agent Minion's order.

Upon arriving at the meeting room, Vianne is seen waiting for them to come. Vianne is aware of the tension and conflict between Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season. Therefore she assigns both of them to work on a mission together. Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season may be able to resolve their disagreement in this manner.

Agent Kirbrine doesn't like the decision, but he can't do anything to refuse an important mission, so Agent Kirbrine remains silent while Agent Season speaks up that he would love to work with Agent Kirbrine.

Vianne explains the situation. The Ylhaya Protocol has received complaints of hostile individuals in Water Island's Sidney Town. The individuals are causing havoc on the town, harassing and oppressing the residents. Vianne also received a report that a strange mutation of Haunele Bacteria has been detected in Water Island.

Vianne is concerned that the two events are connected. Vianne says that the Haunele Bacteria might be responsible for the behavior of these individuals. Vianne assigns Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season to probe the incident in Sidney Town, Water Island. The mission is accepted by Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season, and they have two hours to prepare for their journey to Water Island. Vianne dismisses them, and the Agents both leave the meeting room.

...

Season: The Haunele Bacteria must have evolved. The effect of Haunele Bacteria only changes the mood of its host, but now it's getting dangerous. Right?

Kirbrine: ...

//Agent Kirbrine walks away//

Season: Ugh... This is not gonna turn out well.

//Agent Season walks away and heads to his room//

...

(Sidney Town Harbor, Water Island)
11:00 AM

Vianne (on radio): You have arrived at the harbor of Sidney Town. It's up to you how you will investigate the situation. Use your anti-Haunele equipment if necessary. Got it?

Kirbrine: Got it.

Vianne: Good. We'll leave the mission to both of you. Work together and finish the mission.

Season: No worries, we'll work together as a duo to finish this mission.

Kirbrine: ...

...

The harbor of Water Island's Sidney Town is not very busy. The docks are neither enormous nor little. There are a few shops nearby, but practically all of them are closed. Agent Kirbrine delegated the evaluation of the closed business to one of the open shops. The shopkeeper responded that everyone had been kept inside their homes due to the Water Criminals.

The Water Criminals are referred to as the recent criminals in Water Island that uses water and liquid magic spells to cause destruction and execute crimes such as robberies, extortion, and sometimes murder.

Agent Season questioned the merchant about why he is still operating his store despite the loose of Water Criminals. To satisfy Agent Season's interest, the merchant responded to his query. The merchant responds that he is confident in his store's security. The merchant claims to be a skilled wizard who can defend himself against Water Criminals.

Agents Kirbrine and Season are rendered speechless. Despite this, the merchant carried on with his business, offering them rare antiquities such as ancient wind flutes, silver bracelets, and strange serpent scales. Agent Kirbrine politely declines the merchant's offer and walks away to continue the mission. Agent Season gently bids the merchant farewell and follows Agent Kirbrine.

...

Season: The merchant was offering us rare items! He also looks like he's going to give us a discount!

Kirbrine: We're here to continue our investigation, not to go shopping.

//Agent Season stops walking and stares at Agent Kirbrine//

Kirbrine: Huh? What happened?

Season: You finally talked to me...

Kirbrine: So what's the deal?

Season: You've been ignoring me for almost a month now. I keep apologizing to you, and it bothers me that you don't talk to me.

Kirbrine: Just because I talked to you doesn't mean we're friends now. Besides, this is part of the mission. Vianne wants us to work together, so I'm forced to talk to you.

Season: Oh. Okay. I'm just glad that you talked to me.

//Sound of waves from the sea can be heard nearby. The sound is unusually louder//

...

Three persons emerged from the sea and entered Sidney Town's harbor. These individuals are dressed in blue-scaled clothing and possess three distinct weapons. A staff, a wand, and a wizard's book are among the weapons. They are all fair-skinned and wear blue masks to conceal their identities. These individuals appear to be masters of magic.

The Haunele tracking gadget used by Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season suddenly detected a large amount of Haunele bacteria nearby. Agent Kirbrine believes these three people have been infected with Haunele bacteria. Agent Season informs Agent Kirbrine that the three individuals could be the infamous Water Criminals.

The Water Criminals took an interest in Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season's high-technology gears and targeted both of them. The Water Criminals immediately initiated an attack, but fortunately, both Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season dodged the attacks. Agent Kirbrine pulled out a high-tech wristband that allowed him to cast spells without the use of a wand.

Agent Kirbrine uses a wind-blowing spell to drive the Water Criminals away. Agent Kirbrine checks in on Agent Season to make sure he's okay. Agent Season assures him that he's fine. Agent Season dashes forward and kicks one of the Water Criminals. The spike mode engaged in Agent Season's boots, allowing his kick to deliver extra damage to the criminal.

One of the Water Criminals, however, casts a tremendous whirlpool spell on both Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season, trapping them both in a whirlpool. Suddenly, the merchant joins the fight and effortlessly defeats the three Water Criminals with a single magical spell cast using a magic wand. The criminals immediately retreated back to the sea.

Agent Kirbrine and Agent Season are both unconscious after being trapped in a whirlpool for a long time.
