"No plz let go, don don't come near please.. Don't touch me.. Aah it's pain don't hurt me plz dad daddy..
Shoving everyone away, she yelled frantically her cries were to loud that even the patients from close wards grew uneasy. The hospital staff, assembled around her ward even aware of patient state, they couldn't help but grew dishearten.
"Si Siya.. Calm down.. Look it's Dad here.. I'm here stop hurting yourself..
Even being hit by the glass thrown towards him by her, he didn't stop approaching her. Try calling her out, but ironically the men she was calling for help fail to instil sense of familiarity in her. To her the face the voice doesn't register to her brain.
"Dad help plz save no don't touch me.. Just kll me It's hurt..no dad help.."
"Mr Agnihotri, this is.. Risky please be out.."
"No, I'll deal you all may leave..
Rejecting the advise of Doctor, Mr Agnihotri wiped his tears with the back of palm and walked further, And soon enough he hold onto her.
"Daddy daddy please save me... Let me go please don't touch me..let goooo..
"Shh I'm here your daddy is here Siya hear me Out my child."
His voice made her more aggressive, as she begin to scarath snd where's Riya realising something immediately pulled out her phone then played a tune. Making her grow still, it was a song sang by their mother day before she died. But then she started crying pleading to her mother.
"Momma momma..Help Daddy didn't help he didn't hear me..he didn't help.
She struggle further to reach out to the voice, but Mr Agnihotri didn't release her, the Dr then inserted the Syringe in her arm, which made her stop fighting for while but Continue to mumble for all to hear.
"He didn't help, I was In car before him..he didn't hear me...he didn't help Momma..no one did.."
The nurse standing around broke in tears to, this was to heartbreaking, Riya fall on her knees where's Mr Agnihotri went numb hearing his daughter complain.
"He he whipped me, he touched me, he hurts me Momma.. And dad didn't help daddy didn't hear no one did.."
Mumbling this Repeatedly, she fainted, the Doctor motion Mr Agnihotri to lay her on bed. To which he obliged however refused to let go of her. Hence sighing inwardly the Doctor brief him further about her state.
"She's traumatized, hurt, lost, disappointed and most importantly scared she need care and experts help to get over this..
"Doctor why she didn't react to Dad?..
"She's scared, not in state to differentiate between present and past phase.. It would've been better if she hasn't seen him but her culprit..
Understanding his words, Riya nodded then glance at her father who didn't speak a word since he heard her speak. She could understand how hard it's for him to hear, that he was just distance away. While that Ba**d brutally hurted his daughter.
"Dad.. Don't lose yourself, she's just..
"It's said that kids do good or bad it's reflect their parents upbringing.."
"Dad..
"I'm sorry that I failed in mine, I failed to teach you both to protect yourself."
"No Dad you didn't... Don't blame yourself Dad please..
Embracing her Father from behind Riya mumbled to him. Glancing at her sister, who seems to be in extreme pain even in unconscious state. She wiped her tears then prayed inwardly for her Sister's speedy recovery, strength for her father to stay calm.
____________
"Excuse me, Mr Agnihotri.."
Clutching over the medicine Bag, Alok stopped then look behind. Upon watching the Men who approach her before he sighed inwardly then started to walk away.
"Mr Agnihotri, please listen what I've to say.."
"Mr Raichand, there's nothing to talk about please Leave.."
Knowing their present circumstances, he sighed inwardly. But instead of leaving he walked along side with him then spoke calmly.
"I've heard what happened, but it doesn't change anything for me.."
"Pardon?...
"I still, I'd like to Marry your Daughter Mr Agnihotri.." I love her and I truly..
"My Daughter isn't a charity case, and who knows all of it, is your doing.."
"Mr Agnihotri?..
"Don't look at me like this, she's not in state to reveal about her culprit.. And..
Realising he misunderstood him, and his intention to approach them. Danish sighed inwardly he don't remember when was the last time he try to convince anyone repeatedly like this that to calmly.
"Take me to her then, if I'm the one who did this with her, she'll react..
"No, I don't want to traumatised her more than she's now.. So leave.."
"But Mr Agnihotri, why you're so adamant to reject me? I can..
"Nor I'm an opportunist neither My decisions are seasons that'll change with time due to circumstances."
"Listen, she needs change in air, lots of love and care, let me be one to heal her then.." You can't do that anymore..
"Mr Raichand, my Daughter isn't burden for me, I can very well take care of her, once failed but not again."
"Mr Agnihotri, don't do this, I really want to..
"She's not in state to accept you or anyone."And I can't take decision on behalf of her right now anymore.."
Without saying anything further, Alok Agnihotri left him in middle of hospital corridor. Without giving what he wants, and once again he was rejected from getting what he desire. At first he wanted to follow and see her once, but aware it won't be right time to do so. He walked away but this time with vow to never beg for her again.
__________
Opening her eyes, she stared at the white ceiling lost in her thoughts. But felt warm hand over her head caressing her. But she couldn't react, after brutally assaulted, she couldn't differentiate between care and hits.
"Siya you're awake.."
She didn't reply, the voice felt familiar, the touch was soothing. But she couldn't react, refused to assuming it to be a dream. A dream where there's no pain, no soul grieving. Or no Beast like him hurting her, she felt herself trapped in darkness, the more she try to escape the further she find herself entrapped within it. Hence the dream of light was to good to be true, and shd couldn't believe she's truly free.
"Siya, Look Dad is here, with you.."
"Sis see, I'm here too.." Won't you talk to me?..
"Siya, say something... You don't have to be afraid anymore.. I won't leave..
"Sis can you hear me please I'm longing to hear your voice."
"Don't you miss our home huh? You made hospital your second home.."
"Know Sis, the novel you ordered it's delivered two day back, so if you want then tell me.."
"Siya, are you upset with me? Won't you talk to your father? I'm sorry my child.." Please forgive me.."
Riya stopped speaking then she shared a glance with her father, who was trying to interact with her by clutching her hand. But growing Disheartened with Siya's non-responsive behavior. Begin to tear up badly, she immediately placed her hand over his. As soon their gaze met she shook her head in no. Making him sigh and wiped his tears.
"I'll call the Doctor..
Sighing she stood up to call Doctor, but saw him standing at entrance. His gaze face was unreadable, but his gaze conveyed wave of emotion she couldn't understand. Upon being caught he shook his head then approach them calmly.
"Oh Miss Agnihotri is awake, are you feeling any kind of discomfort?..
Checking her pulse, then report over her. The Doctor asked with kind smile but then watching her staring at ceiling without blink. Not replying to any of his query, just like she didn't react to her sister or her fathers word. He sighed inwardly, On being aware there's lot to do in order to help her now.
"Hm, the wounds healed, only the scars are left.."
To Riya and Alok, his words seems to speak more of wound on her soul. Than visible one's, as if he's answering their unasked question. But to get more clarity Mr Agnihotri asked him.
"Doctor what's wrong with her? It's been week since she woke up but..
"Trauma Mr Agnihotri, she's in grave shock.. So it'll take time to..
Alok didn't said anything he could very well comprehend what the Doctor is trying to say. The only time they see her reacting is when she's having nightmare, which result the Doctor to put her to sleep. Or rest of time she'll stare blankly at ceiling. Without speaking or respond in to anything and anyone. As she's traumatized by the event which had trapped her in past only. And not letting her fix her mind into adapting the present.
