Watching the dangerous scene of people with fake injuries out in the rubble through the large screen in front of them, [y/n] quivered as what she saw reminded her of the time she and Bakugo were taken away when they were in close proximity with All For One.
She clenched her fists close to her chest with a nervous gulp as her eyes can't glance away from the screen, unable to hear the rest of the instructions announced through the speakers.
Suddenly, she felt a hand on her left shoulder. She then looked to whom it came from as she let out a weakening whisper, "Izu..."
Izuku nods without looking at her as his eyes were glued to the screen as well, "I know. You'll be fine, [y/n]." He then looked at her with determination and reassurance as he sees his sister's worried expression, "Trust me."
With her shaking hand, she held her brother's hand that was on her shoulder, "You'll stay with me... promise?"
"I promise."
Iida joined in as he stood beside Izuku, "It's just like that time, huh?"
A resilient nod from Izuku came as a reply as he spoke, "Yeah... just like in Kamino Ward."
Iida sighed as he crossed his arms, watching as more people who came to act as injured civilians arrived, "But remember, the villains were keeping us from getting [y/n] and Bakugo that time. We retreated in order to let the professionals do their jobs."
He continued as he faced him, speaking in a serious tone, "Many people actually died there."
He then perked up to [y/n], who stood beside Izuku on the other side, "[y/n], I understand this will be too stimulating for you. But we are here to do this together." Iida then approached her with a nod, "Call us when you need help."
[y/n] looks at Iida as she tries to smile, only for her to muster her courage with a solemn one, "Yeah. Thank you, Iida."
Suddenly, the trio's sullen moment was interrupted by Kaminari and Mineta hastily dragging Izuku to the side as they screamed complaints at him.
"Hey, what's the big idea?!" Kaminari shouted at him while Mineta chimed in with a squeak, "We were out there risking our lives while you were doing who knows what!!"
Kaminari then lightly grabbed the green-haired boy by his hair as he carried on, "In the middle of a test, too! Is this some kind of joke to you, huh?!"
Confused yet intrigued, [y/n] slowly followed the three without disturbing them as she thinks he wasn't blamed for something serious.
Turns out, she was right.
Mineta pointed at a young lady as Izuku was bewildered by the sudden physical assault from the two, "Don't play dumb! You and that girl!!"
He, despite being as tall as a fire extinguisher, somehow managed to pull Izuku by the collar of his costume and ranted, "What did you two do?!"
The lady then caught the three staring and immediately smiled while sending a subtle hand wave at them. Kaminari was the first to speak... erm... yell at Izuku, "See?! That's the not-so-obvious-but-want-to-be-so-obvious greeting that can only happen after a relationship has gone to the next level!!"
Mineta growled as he readied his fist for a punch to Izuku's face, "You womanizing scum!!"
Izuku sweatdropped as he tries to protect himself from the aggressively jealous duo, "Wait, did Sero tell you two that? Whatever you two are thinking, it never happened!"
He continued as he used both of his hands to shield himself from the light punches, "It has something to do with her quirk! I don't get it myself honestly, but she's scary."
"Scary, huh?" [y/n] mutters to herself as she looked at her. She almost bit her tongue as soon as she saw her while pursing her lips together. I can't blame them. She's really pretty... she has a nice body, too. What part of her is scary? Her beauty?!
She blinked in surprise as she realized and turned her back against her. Shit, she's coming closer! Uh... did she see me looking at her?! She'll laugh at me for staring at her, for sure! What do I do...? It's not like I'm interested or anything!!
Kirishima spoke with his mouth full of snacks as he looked at an approaching bunch of students towards them, "Shiketsu's heading this way."
[y/n] thought to herself, Wait... of course, she'd come here. Her schoolmates are heading here, too! I'm so dumb...!
She proceeded to avoid eye contact while positioning herself from the farthest corner of the snack table from the group as one of the students from Shiketsu High spoke up to Bakugo once they were close enough, "Excuse me. You're Bakugo, right?"
"That's a lotta hair." [y/n] spoke to herself in an inaudible whisper as she looked to the person speaking to her classmate.
The hairy student then continued, "Shishikura... the shifty-eyed one... he came after you, right?"
Bakugo answered without hesitation with a scowl on his face, "Yeah. I crushed him down and out."
The student then looked around until he saw [y/n] trying to escape the scene as he spoke, "Oh, [y/n]. You're [y/n], right?"
[y/n] stopped herself from jolting as she approached him, "Y-yeah. That's me."
The hairy individual sighed as he placed his hand on his chest, "Thought so...! He was probably terribly rude to you two. You must have been very offended."
The green-haired girl tilted her head in confusion, "Wait... did he say something rude to Bakugo?"
The student shook his head which made his hair swing from side to side, "Ah. Not just to him, to you as well."
He continued as the rest of his classmates were either right behind his back or beside him, "Shishikura has a bad habit of forcing his values onto others. I guess he couldn't contain himself especially when he learned that you two are taking the test with him in it."
He placed his hand down, now both of his arms at his sides, "We would like to build a good relationship with U.A. High onwards. Please accept our apology."
[y/n] nervously chuckled as she scratched her nape in response, "It's really fine...! Don't worry about it!" I wonder what that guy could have said about me.
The student with so much hair on his body blinked at her, even if no one could see that through all his thick hair, "[y/n]. Regarding the current events, you must be going through hard times now. We apologize for adding the weight to your shoulders."
He... doesn't mind talking about it so casually? What is... his deal? [y/n] sweatdropped as she shook her head, "It's really alright. It's not your fault."
Mineta reacted to what the hairy student said as he grits his teeth in annoyance, "A good relationship...?"
"It doesn't seem that way." Izuku, though he hates to admit it, feels the same way with Mineta.
Meanwhile, Yoarashi whispered to one of his classmates as he asks, "What did he mean by 'current events' to that lady...?"
As his classmate finished answering his question, he then blinked and glared at [y/n], which she didn't notice as the hairy student was having a conversation with her.
Just as the group excused themselves to leave, Todoroki spoke up as he approached Yoarashi from the back, "Hey, you with the crew cut."
The tall student halted his tracks as Todoroki continued, "Did I do something to offend you?"
As the two continued, [y/n] approached Kaminari, who seemed to be fuming while scolding her twin brother, Izuku, for waving goodbye to the attractive lady, after she talked to the hairy student.
The green-haired girl lightly tapped his shoulder, "Hey, Denki...!"
Kaminari's scowl disappeared on his face as if it was never there in the first place as he replied immediately, "Yo, [y/n]! Need anything?"
"Actually," [y/n] perked up to him, "Nagamasa-senpai... the hairy dude? He told me that you told him about Shishikura-senpai. I wanna know what he said about Bakugo and about me." (A/N: The two are second-year students, hence they are seniors or senpais.)
She said 'senpai' twice in a single reply...! Denki cleared his throat as he chuckled, "It's nothing, really! You don't have to fret about it, [y/n]!" She's worried about him. Come on, Bakugo...! Why are you still ignoring her now...?! What's your deal with being such a dick?
He then noticed her wary expression as her eyes darted to the floor, "Hey, hey... It's alright, [y/n]. Really!"
Kaminari continued as he sighed while he stood in front of her, "It's not my position to say this... but you can trust your classmates, [y/n]."
[y/n] lets out a soft chuckle as she smiled at him, "Wah... everyone is telling me to trust them." She continues with a nod, "Don't worry. I trust all of you, Denki."
As Kaminari waved goodbye to go somewhere, [y/n] walked towards Izuku so she could talk to him, "Hey, Izu-!!"
Deafening alarms suddenly blared throughout the room as they startled many of the participants of the exam. An announcement sounded while the sounds continued,
["The terrorists have launched a massive attack!! There is wide-scale destruction throughout the city. Buildings are destroyed and people are injured!"]
[y/n] groaned after she removed her hands as she covered her ears, "I forgot to turn on the 'fade in audio' function for my S.I.N.C.E.* (*she meant the gadget disguised as her earrings.)" She continued as she approached Izuku from the back, "That alarm scared me."
Then suddenly, The entire room shook as the four walls slowly trampled down backward.
Another unfolding building?! [y/n] thought as she looked up, seeing the ceiling was no longer blocking the clear sky above them. Just as she started running with her brother in front, another announcement came,
["Save every life you can!"]
"Wait, we need a plan. A plan!" [y/n] huffed as soon as she was able to keep pace from running with the rest of her classmates. I ran with them without thinking of what to do...! What do I do from here onwards?!
Before she could find the answers herself, she hears a crying voice in the distance, "Wahh! Save me!"
The crying child was on his knees wailing as Iida told the others, "Look, a child!"
The child continues to wail as they approached him hastily, "Over there! My grandpa's trapped...! He's getting crushed!!"
Izuku sweatdropped as he approached the child, "This looks bad! Where is your grandpa?!"
Immediately, the 'child' actor ceased his bawling to scold the green-haired boy, "The heck is wrong with you?! Minus points for that!!"
As the actor continued to scold him, [y/n] watched in awe and bewilderment, "H.U.C. (Help Us Company, the actors were employed under this company.) are pros at this, huh?"
She then does her 'in deep thought' pose, disregarding what's happening around her, "We... really need a plan." [y/n] continued as she looked around, seeing the other students are already steps ahead of their rescue operations, "We're lagging behind. We gotta think of a plan fast."
As Izuku managed to carry the actor to the evacuation center, [y/n] approached Iida as she spoke, "Iida, I have an idea for the rescue."
Iida then understood what she meant. She needs everyone in the class. With a nod, "Go ahead. Tell us everything."
She then whispered to Iida the plan for a few moments as the class was told by Iida to be on standby for a second.
Iida jolted to his position as [y/n] finished sharing her plan, "Are you sure about this? What if your quirk will exhaust you?"
She shook her head and chuckled, "It's fine. This will be another experiment I'd like to try."
Iida then faced the class as he commented, "Your experiments are usually life-threatening, but your plan is a big change."
He then signaled everyone to gather around as he starts sharing the plan with them. After which, they went off with their designated groups as [y/n] flew above from where she stood.
"Shoji, you're up!" [y/n] screamed from above as Shoji duplicated his ears through his long arms, listening intently as he stood guard below her as he spoke, "On it!"
Shoji then spoke as he heard a faint bawl from the distance as he pointed out, "10 o'clock, a few meters from here...!"
[y/n] nods as she sends one of her ropes to the location as she screamed to signal the nearest group, "Group A, follow the end of the rope!!"
Shoji found another victim once more, "[y/n]. At the back, just a couple of steps from here...!"
"Right!" She sends another rope in the direction, "Group C, over here!"
The tall gray-haired sweatdropped as he looked at [y/n] from below, "[y/n], are you fine up there?"
[y/n] nods as she sends another rope somewhere else, "Hmm! Doing great over here...!"
Shoji spoke once more, with hesitation, "If it's alright with you, you can rest when you're tired and I'll take over for a bit."
"It's fine, Shoji. Really." [y/n] sighed. She continues as she does her part as she retrieved one of her ropes, seeing that one of the groups rescued a victim, "This is the least I can do."
