You made your way to class in a hurry, bumping on some students while on it. Professor Trein was very strict when it came to punctuality, so you could only pray he would cut you some slack.
Knocking on the door and slowly opening it, you entered in class with your head down. You knew it'd be impossible to sneak in, even if you were as quiet as a mouse, the professor would end up seeing you anyways.
He cleared his throat loudly. "Late as usual, prefect. This is the third and last time I'll let you in after class has already started. I won't let it slide next time, so not a minute of tardiness from now on!" His voice was firm and severe.
You bowed your head even lower, shame burning evidently on your face. "Yes, professor, I'm sorry, it will definitely not happen again."
He gestured you to sit down quickly and went on with his early explanation, you nodded and felt the students staring (and some of them snickering) at you. You sighed and frowned, walking to their direction to try to find an empty seat. The only one you could spot was next to Jade, who was sitting alone.
"Excuse me, can I sit here?" You whispered as quietly as possible, not wanting to anger Trein any longer. Jade glanced at you.
"Of course." He replied with a smile and then turned his attention back to the board.
You awkwardly sat down, trying to ignore all the annoying stares coming from your classmates. It was not your fault Grim decided to get sick precisely today after eating a whole cane of tuna, even tho you advised him several times to be more prudent and take it slow.
After organizing your notebook and pens, you rested your head on one of your hands and listened to Trein go on and on about whatever he was saying. But no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't focus at all. Tho this subject could be really interesting most of the times, today was specifically boring and on top of that, you had only a few hours of sleep. You could feel yourself closing your eyes, when a sudden whisper blew on your ear.
"You should pay attention to this part, little miss."
Jade was staring directly at you and that made your heart skip a beat, as well as your eyes snap open. You looked stunned for a few seconds.
"It's going to be in the next test." He added, showing yet another polite smile.
"Oh, thank you." You replied, processing what has happened just now.
You discreetly gave him a side glance, trying to get a better look of him. He was quite handsome and his tall figure was a bit intimidating. Even so, you couldn't stop looking at him, specially since he has been your crush for a long time. You had definitely lost your focus.
Not realizing, you were now staring intensely at him, practically gawking, which naturally made him look back at you. He raised an eyebrow, a sly expression on his face.
"I guess you're not paying attention."
"Ah," you let our an awkward laugh to desperately hide your embarrassment. "I'm, it's just, well, my pens ran out of ink, so I was wondering if you could borrow me one of yours?" You gave him your best smile.
He stared at you surprised for a few seconds, then at the bunch of pens lying on your desk. A subtle smirk appeared on his lips and you could feel your cheeks grow hotter by the minute. Of course, it sounded so stupid, who would ever buy that? With that amount of pens, running completely out of ink was highly unlikely...
"Sure. One second."
As he looked for another pen inside his pencil case, you stopped to notice that this class has become a chaos. Trein caught Ace and Kalim sleeping, while Jamil facepalmed himself and tried his best to come up with an excuse to save Kalim. The professor obviously didn't like it one bit and started reprimanding all of them, which only got worse and worse when Ace kept talking back to him.
In the middle of all that mess, Jade handed you his black pen in a slow move and you nervously went to take it, but when you did, he held your hand still. You gulped and blushed.
"Thank you..." You tried to free yourself from his grasp, but for some reason, he wouldn't let you go.
"Prefect." His voice had a different tone, a strangely seductive one.
Your eyes met his. "Yes?"
"That's right. Look into my eyes..." He put his other hand on your cheek and caressed it gently. This action left you so speechless and surprised, that when you noticed what he was about to do, it was too late. You opened your mouth to say something, but he said it before you could.
"Shock the heart." A soft whisper reached your ears and you felt yourself getting dizzy and then completely in a trance. He grinned widely. "Now tell me. Is it true that you desire me and want to be with me?"
You nodded slowly and mindlessly. "Yes, I do, I want to be with you and I've been dreaming of it for as long as I can remember."
Satisfied, Jade blinked and stopped his spell. You felt a slight headache and took a few seconds to understand what was going on. You couldn't remember anything you said, but you knew he had used his signature spell on you, which wasn't fair at all.
"Jade, what did you do?!" You screamed and stood up from your chair, everyone turning their attention to you. You could feel your entire face turning crimson red, but you didn't take your eyes off him. Jade seemed stunned for a moment, then showed you his usual grin.
"What are you talking about, prefect?" His cynical tone made you even angrier and you furrowed your eyebrows.
"Jade, I know you-"
"STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" Trein slammed his hands on his desk, making everyone jump and shut up. "What do you think this is? A circus? I will not tolerate any more of this mess, that's enough! You, ramshackle prefect! Out of class, now!"
"What?!" Your heart was beating like crazy, the embarrassment you felt was getting worse by the minute. "But professor, I wasn't the only one talking loudly, I-"
"Silence! What are you doing, still standing up like that? Dismissed!"
You rolled your eyes and packed your things, heading quickly to the door, avoiding any type of eye contact with your classmates.
"I can't believe this!" You sighed loudly as soon as you got out of class. Resting your back against the wall, you closed your eyes. "I better stay calm. If Trein hears me yelling one more time, I'll get in even more trouble! Just breathe."
After taking a few deep breaths, you were able to open your eyes again and not lose it. "Seriously tho, why did Jade do that? He must have made me say something embarrassing, I'm sure! Geez."
Your monologue was interrupted by the sound of the bell ring, the door opening abruptly and a bunch of students leaving in a hurry, passing by without even noticing you. You had to wait for everyone to pass so you could leave as well. The hallway was finally empty and you were about to go, when a familiar voice made you stop in your tracks.
"Oh my, I didn't expect you to be so bold and fiery."
You turned your head instantly and gritted your teeth. "I got in trouble because of you! And to think you were one of the nicest students around here!" You scoffed, glaring at him. "But you don't fool me. I know you do this all out of fun, deep down you're quite sadistic, aren't you?"
"Yes, I am." Jade smirked and took some steps closer to you, cornering you against the wall. His face was inches away from yours. The anger you were feeling was now starting to dissipate and turn to something else.
"I had to do it, otherwise you'd never tell me." He said while moving his body even closer to yours. "Tho I'd like to hear it from you, now willingly."
"W-what? What did you make me say?"
"Prefect, I know you like me."
Your heart raced and suddenly the air was too hot, making it hard to breathe. You couldn't hide how flushed your cheeks were now and how your whole expression gave everything out. The situation was so unbearable, that you could explode.
"But say it one more time. Say you like me." He stared at you, an odd smile curving on his lips.
"No!" You replied immediately and gave him a furious look. "You hypnotized me and made me get kicked out of class!"
"It doesn't change the fact that you like me."
You bit your lip and looked away. This was too much, you had to get out no matter what. As soon as you tried to turn away and take a step, Jade firmly held one of your shoulders to make you stay in place.
"You can never lie to me, no one can." He forced you to look at him, lifting up your chin. "You really amuse me, did you know that? Look at you, squirming under my touch. You're not good at hiding your emotions."
You whined and tried to avoid his gaze, but in vain. "Why must you torture me like this?"
"Didn't you yourself say that I'm a sadist?" He chuckled and slowly placed one of his legs between yours, making you shiver and gasp in surprise. "Say it already, little miss."
You held your breath and shut your eyes, ignoring the swift movements Jade was doing with his leg, rubbing it dangerously close to your thighs. "I'm not a little miss, you know?"
"Hm? Would you like me to call you mistress then?"
You widened your eyes and stayed silent, not knowing what to say. He leaned in even more and pressed his thumb on your lower lip, slightly opening it. Your breath quickened and your mind was starting to go blank. A jerk or not, Jade Leech was certainly charming and his teasing was getting the best of you. You did like him, after all.
"Alright, mistress. I will fulfill any request you make of me. Not to worry - I'm used to dealing with self-indulgence." As he finished saying this, he let his hand slide to your neck. "So do you have any requests?"
You breathed heavily, grabbing his tie to bring him closer for a kiss. However, Jade resisted and shook his head.
"You have to ask for it first."
You groaned and looked at him with puppy eyes. "Don't make me say it... Just do it."
"I'm afraid I don't know what you're referring to." He smiled innocently and you could feel your impatience growing.
"Do I have to beg?!"
Jade just stared at you, as if the answer was obvious. You sighed.
"Please, kiss me."
"Where?"
You raised your eyebrows in shock and blushed even more than before. He let out a hearty laugh.
"Don't worry, you can have more than one." As he said this, he finally let your lips touch, practically towering over you.
You felt his hands moving down to your waist and your back, pulling you close to him, your bodies glued to each other. As if savoring the moment, he kissed you slowly but surely, occasionally biting your lip in the middle of it, earning a few whimpers and quiet moans from you.
"Mistress, be sure to keep it down... You know others could hear you... Anyone could come here at any minute... Do you want them to hear it?"
You shook your head and slightly pushed him away. "Shouldn't we go somewhere else?"
"I don't think so. I'm enjoying this way more." Jade suddenly seemed short of breath, his eyes glimmering with desire. "I like seeing you struggle like this... You're so..." His voice was trembling, a hint of pink spreading across his face. "So tempting."
Without a warning, Jade rushed to you and kissed you again, this time inserting his tongue. You were completely caught off guard and let out a soft moan as he held you in his arms, a certain desperation coming off from him. This made you even more into him than you already were and you completely surrendered yourself to the moment. Jade kept kissing your lips, his lust for you was very evident. After long five minutes, he moved to your neck and bit it, leaving a mark of his sharp teeth on you.
"Ow, what are you doing?" You rubbed the wound and glared at him.
"I let my excitement get the better of me there... I'm sorry you had to see that, hm. Did that not please my mistress?" He asked, putting a strand of your hair behind your ear. "Should I take care of it?"
"It's not-" Jade interrupted you, kissing the bite mark and then licking it. Your whole body got goosebumps and you felt the heat increase more and more.
He licked his own lips. "How is that, mistress?"
"Are you going to keep calling me that?"
"I thought you'd find it to your taste."
You cleared your throat and crossed your arms, turning your gaze away. "I do, but please don't call me that in front of others."
"As you wish." He gave a small bow and a huge smile at you.
You couldn't help but softly smile back to the man in front of you. Stepping closer to him, you briefly kissed him on the cheek.
"Jade? Shrimpy? What are you guys doing here?"
You jumped back and Jade turned around.
"I, I, hum..." You stuttered, trying to find the right words to explain the situation. If Floyd found out about your little affair with his brother, you would never hear the end of it.
"Heh, Shrimpy is at a loss of words! Did you scare her off, Jade?" Floyd grinned sadistically at the both of you. "Or is something else going on?" He laughed.
"I was simply fulfilling her request. Now excuse me, I have to go to potionology class soon." Jade replied politely and walked away, but not before turning to you and give you the sexiest smirk you have ever seen.
You tried to hide your reaction, but it was impossible to do that. Floyd gave you a suspicious and curious look, then laughed.
"You really do look like a shrimp now, you're all red! What's the deal with my brother, eh?"
"Nothing!" You answered him, looking obviously annoyed. "I have to go too, Grim is waiting for me. See you later." And with that, you took your leave too.
Floyd shrugged. "Oh well. They definitely made out..."
