NICKEL POV
I look over to balloon with shock in my eyes. I feel lightheaded.
I'm an idiot
Why did I do that?
He definitely knows now
He saw me sleeping in the same bed as him
I'm so stupid. Everything is going black.
THUD

NICKEL!
Ow my head.. what happened? Where am I? I slowly open my eyes. I need to get up. I try to get up but I fall backwards into somebody's arms "Nickel careful! Don't stand up you need to sit down" I didn't listen and I kept trying as my vision slowly started getting back to me. I fall backwards again, giving up I rest myself on the person's arm "Hey I just said you need to rest!" Wait hotel OJ? What am I doing here? Oh right. I look at the person kneeling down beside me and holing me up with their arm, it's balloon! Oh wait...its balloon..I quickly look down before saying
"Ugh what happened?" I still felt really dizzy
"I don't know! You were just standing there and when you looked at me you fainted!"
"Wait what I fainted?"
"You sure did." I hear OJ call out from the table
"Yeah you kinda scared me Nickel, are you okay?" To be honest I don't know myself though it would probably cause me more problems if I say I don't know.
"Oh right yeah! I'm uh fine." I give a small smile
"Are you sure?" He gives me a look that tells me that he doesn't believe me.
"Yep sure I'm great!" I look at him in the eyes before facing away
"I don't believe that" balloon mumbled...he said it quickly and quietly though I still heard him. He knew I was lying.
"What was that?" I say with a slightly annoyed tone, pretending I didn't hear him
"Oh nothing." He responds with. There was an awkward silence between us, I spoke up first
"Well can I stand up now?" I ask, though some part of my wanted to stay like this
"No. You still need to rest, I'll take you back to our room" I was kind of surprised at his answer. Then he suddenly picks me up in a bridal position
"Hey! I can walk there myself you know." I say as my face gets extremely red
"Mhm, I'm sure you could bud" I look down at the floor hoping to hide my flustered face, though balloon kept holding me up higher which made it difficult.
(There was a drawing I made but uh it's old and I'm not bothered to redo it)
We start walking past the table where everyone is sat at i glance at them and I could see the smirks in their faces when they saw me and balloon. If I had arms I would kill them right now.
"Hey balloon where you taking him?" Someone called out, at this point I couldn't care less who said it. I just wanted to be out of here.
"Oh I'm just taking him to our room so he can rest." He stops to look at them
"Okay, make sure not to have too much fun in there ;)" I'm getting lightheaded again. Balloon ignores the comments and goes to walk up the stairs. I look at balloon, he looked a little..embarrassed and flustered. Wait why would he be- WAIT IS HE EMBARRASSED ON THE THOUGH OF ME AND HIM- okay calm down. HOW CAN I EVEN BE CALM IN THIS SITUATION. Your just over reacting, calm down
"Uh nickel are you okay?" I could hear the nervousness in his voice. Oh wait crap I'm staring.
"What yeah. I already told you I'm fine." We reach our floor. Balloon took a deep breath
"Nickel I know that's a lie clearly something is up."
"What are you talking about balloon I'm clearly fine" we reach out door
"Your face doesn't say so" he opens the door and walks over to my bed closing the door behind him. He rests me down and pulls the covers over me and sits on the edge of my bed.
"My face? What does that have to do with anything" I could feel my heated face slowly cooling off and my heartbeat increase
"Nickel your face is all red. Not only that you've been acting weird around me for this past week, running away randomly, avoiding me and also other things..." my heart is pounding against my chest at this point
BALLOONS POV
I take a deep breath and I get ready for the question about to say "Nickel, I have a question."
"Go on" He was nervous, but why?
"How did I get back into the hotel?" I asked
"I don't know what your talking about"
"Nickel. I fell asleep outside yesterday how did I end up in our room today?" I look at him in the face, his eyes kept moving from me to something else.
"Well uh someone must of carried you up here then."
"Be real with me here nickel, you and I both know no one in this hotel would do that. They would probably just wake me up if anything, I know you must know something because when I woke up you were on my bed, sleeping." I state. There was a deafening silence that filled the room. I waited for a response but he just sat in silence, staring at the floor."well? What happened yesterday Nickel?" I say with an impatient tone. "Hm?"
"I DONT KNOW OKAY?" He yelled out, I jumped at the sudden response "Listen balloon, I don't know what happened yesterday and I don't want to know."
"Would you just stop lying for like 2 seconds and actually tell me. This shouldn't even be a big deal"
"Well your the one who's making it into one"
"ME? IM THE ONE WHO'S MAKING IT A BIG DEAL?"
"YES YOU ARE"
"HOW? YOUR THE ONE WHO'S REFUSING TO ANSWER A SIMPLE QUESTION! WHAT. DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON ME OR SOMETHING?!"
"WHAT! A CRUSH ON YOU? Please don't be silly, WE'ER NOT EVEN FRIENDS" nickel said with a harsh tone. I pause.
Why did that hurt? I knew that already but why does it sting when nickel said it. Maybe I was hoping it wasn't true? Maybe I was overreacting, he probably still hates me like everyone else. I shouldn't have thought he even enjoyed my company, even if I kinda enjoyed his.
"I guess your right.." I look down and get up from the bed to go walk out the door
"Wait balloon I didn't mea-"
SLAM
I'm taking a walk.
