It was Mino's first day of work in his new company. He was so excited for his new job so he arrived in the company early.
Mino was hired as one of the management trainee. His to-be office is located at the fourth floor of the building. He wasn't up to a morning cardio, he didn't want to look a sweaty mess when he entered their office, especially not in front of his supervisor so he was waiting for the elevator at the ground floor.
His supervisor is really Mino's motivation to come to the company early. He cannot help but smile every time he thinks of him, Kim Jinwoo. Jinwoo is really an eye-candy. The first time he met him was on his final interview.
Jinwoo is uptight in the interview, he's very direct with what he wants, and his questions are really specific. Good thing Mino prepared for the interview so well, and he didn't get too distracted with the extremely good-looking interviewee whose voice was alluring too. He feels like working with his supervisor will be a challenge, and a treat at the same time.
Mino's so excited to discover Jinwoo's layers, his real personality behind the prim and proper demeanor he has been showing him since they first met. He really is very eager to know his supervisor better, and maybe be close to him if luck's on his side.
Well, speaking of luck...
"Good morning, Mr. Kim." Mino's eyes sparkled when he saw Jinwoo walking to him - or most likely to the elevator in front of him.
Kang Seungyoon from HR was right when he said Jinwoo goes to work early. Seungyoon also told him that his supervisor was only less than two years older than him. Actually, that doesn't look obvious because Jinwoo looks like a vampire and Mino told Seungyoon that he'll be willing to get bitten by him any day or night.
"Good morning," Mino repeated when Jinwoo was already beside him. He felt like he will pass out when he smelled Jinwoo's manly, fresh scent. It was because it was making him so giddy to the bones.
Jinwoo nodded to him. No good morning to you too. No you're early, good job. No good luck on your first day. No anything. Just a nod. But Mino's fine with that. To be acknowledged by the perfect creature beside him is more than enough.
The doors to the elevator opened. A few people got off and then it was only Mino and Jinwoo again.
"After you, Sir."
Mino bit his lip when the doors closed. The idea of him and Jinwoo alone in a small room was making him feel things, not to mention that he can smell a subtle scent of the other man's aftershave mixed with his perfume.
"Uhm..." Mino was about to start a conversation when the lights went off. Then the elevator came to a halt. He gasped. "What happened?"
It became pitch black inside and Mino wasn't liking it. He felt like he was about to get suffocated.
Before he can start panicking, a light ignited. It was from Jinwoo's phone. Jinwoo pointed the flashlight of his phone on the wall of the elevator to locate something. He walked to it and pushed a button. The emergency light turned on.
Mino can breathe again. "That was..." Before he can finish his sentence, the emergency light went off. "Scary." He gulped.
Mino unconsciously squeezed his body on one corner of the elevator. His nape began to sweat too.
"I can't use my phone's flashlight anymore. I ran out of battery."
Mino heard Jinwoo said something, but he didn't understand it at first. His mind processed the words until he realized what Jinwoo was trying to say. "Let's use my phone." He rummaged around his backpack to find his phone but it was nowhere.
"Shit. I don't have it," he muttered when he remembered that he left his phone in his room. "I..." Mino was now sweating profusely. "Let's not panic. Don't panic." His breathing was getting heavy.
"Don't panic, okay?" Mino said to Jinwoo. He turned to his direction or at least where he thought he was standing. "I'm here. Uhm..." He cleared his throat before continuing. "You can scoot a little bit here."
Mino didn't hear any response or feel any movement. "Ah, I know, stay there. Let me move closer. I'll move closer, okay?"
Again, no response.
Mino breathed deeply before so slowly moving to his side. He used his hand to feel his supervisor. When he touched his clothes, he stopped moving.
"Is this okay?" Mino was beginning to worry for the lack of response and the lack of air, the lack of light. His thoughts were going somewhere he didn't want them to. "Should I move even closer?" He moved a step to his side until he felt Jinwoo's body.
It wasn't enough. If there's something Mino hates, it's really being stuck...being confined. "Ah... Should I hold your hand? Maybe I should." His throat was getting dry for speaking too much. "We'll be out of here soon. Don't be scared," he said when he held his supervisor's hand.
Mino was too scared to even notice the softness and smoothness of Jinwoo's hand. He was also too scared to notice that his hands were shaking and that he was beginning to breathe quickly.
Then he felt a squeeze. Jinwoo squeezed his hand.
"You know I think pink looks good on you."
"Huh?"
"But blue suits you too. I think any color would look good on you. You have a proportionate built."
Mino was finding it hard to understand what his supervisor was telling him.
"I think you're really smart, and determined. Your willingness to learn and be corrected made me like you, made me like to work with you. Do your best, Mino-ya. I believe in you."
He felt another squeeze and warmth inside him. Jinwoo called him Mino-ya. Wow, it felt so surreal but definitely so good.
Mino cannot help but smile. His day was made. It was such a heart-fluttering moment to be complimented by your crush.
"We're here."
Mino's hand was suddenly empty. "Huh?"
And then he realized that the elevator was already working and the doors were already opened. They were on their floor, and Jinwoo has started walking to their office.
"Wait for me, Sir."

"Wow, you're wearing pink. Why am I not surprise?"
Mino grinned. He and Jinwoo met that Saturday at N-Seoul Tower. It was their first date. Jinwoo finally agreed to his invitation after countless of rejections.
They have been working for three months already. Almost a hundred days is enough for Mino to learn that Jinwoo is sassy and savage, but very cute and funny too. He's just liking him more and more as days swift by.
"Well, you said I look good in pink, hyung." After two months, Jinwoo let Mino call him hyung outside their company. He was actually insisting on babe though.
"How many times do I need to repeat myself that whatever I told you that time in the elevator was only to calm you down?"
Mino chuckled. "Ah, my pretty hyung. Don't be shy. I know you started liking me too since the first time we met."
It was Mino's hobby to tease Jinwoo outside of work, and spoil him too even inside of work. He was always preparing lunch for him. He was always getting him his favorite matcha latte. He always goes to work early to be the first one to greet his handsome supervisor.
"As I always tell you, Mino-ya, it's free to dream."
Mino chuckled again. "Come on, hyung. I'm hungry. Let's go to the restaurant."
"I kind of thought we're going to have picnic," Jinwoo voiced out.
Mino bit his lip. "Well, that's the plan but I slept in. My supervisor was so harsh to me yesterday. He even had me work overtime. I don't know what time I finished working."
"That's only before ten."
"Only?"
Jinwoo sighed. "Fine. I'll make it up to you. What do you want?"
Mino pointed at a locks vending machine. "Locks."
N-Seoul Tower is a famous tourist spot because of the love locks. Couples buy podlocks and put them together on the designated places in the area. The act symbolizes strengthening of relationships.
"We're not a couple." Jinwoo tried to argue.
"But they weren't only for couples. Families go here too and friends...and you know, soon-to-be couples. Please, hyung?"
"Fine."
Mino smiled triumphantly and reached for Jinwoo's hand.
"Yah, what are you doing?"
"There's a lot of people today. I don't want to lose you."
"What am I? A kid?"
"No." Mino grinned cheekily. "You're a baby, my baby."
Jinwoo stomped his foot on Mino's.
"Ouch!"
"Geez you're such a baby." Jinwoo smirked and started walking first.
"Your baby?" Mino laughed out loud despite his injured foot when he saw Jinwoo's exaggerated angry face. "Kawaii!"
