Fire blast pov
I loved guy. I really did. I don't know why, so don't ask. I just had a feeling that I should be with him. He parents a child that isn't his, he loves a weird freak like me when he's just an average and ordinary colt, and he doesn't care that I'm part pony part dragon.
I paced the hospital waiting room back and forth, while the boys (the spirits of nature and cheese) sat down on the chairs. Blowin and cheese exchanged angry glances now and then, while chill played with the baby. I had named him flame burst and was happy to have him. He resembled his uncle drago, but walked on all fours. Drago still lived with me, but now the house had more than just two people living there. The spirits, guy, drago, amethyst, violetone, and saphex now lived there too along with me and the baby. we had some construction ponies increase the house size so everypony fit. Guy was sweet enough to let cheese stay in his room until he left town. Blowin, of course, wasn't very happy about that. The baby began to cry, which snapped me out of my train of thought. I took him to have his diaper changed and returned to find cheese and blowin torturing the nurse with their nonsense.
"BOYS! I yelled with my mother instinct, "SIT DOWN OR SO HELP ME I WILL GROUND YOU FROM CUPCAKES FOR A MONTH! UNDERSTAND?!!" they scrambled to their seats and stared at the floor like children sitting in a corner
"I'm sorry about that miss. Did you bring any news?"
" yes ma'am. miss pinkamena would like to see you."
The boys began to get up, "No, only the dragon girl." said the nurse. The boys all groaned and sat back down. I gave the baby to guy and the baby gurgled in delight. The nurse let me into the room pinkie pie was in and shut the door. I looked at pinkie pie, who was brushing her hair. It was all straight, and when she put the brush down, it just poofed right back up.
"Fire blast, that night when I had hurt myself, I could've sworn I saw discord instead of guy. Then I thought i heard him snap his fingers...." she drifted off.
I think she's crazy.
"I know its him fires. I could feel it. Why do you think you trust him so much, even when you've only known him for a few weeks? Trust me, its him. I know it is because Blowin told me he always sees him using magic. i didn't believe him at first, but now that i've seen what i did that night, i really do think its him"
stunned, I stood up and left, i went back to the waiting room with the boys.
"blowin, sweetie, can i talk to you for a minute?" I asked.
he stood up and followed me down the hall, far enough so that the others couldn't hear anything. I cleared my throat, and angrily fixed my baby backpack.
"LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SORRY SON OF A SALAMANDER, WHAT PINKIE TOLD ME AND WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME, COULD'VE CHANGED EVERYTHING. HOW DARE YOU KEEP SECRETS FROM ME?!!"
"What do you mean?" he studdered as he backed up towards the wall.
"I mean, how could you not tell me about discord?!! WHAT COMPELLED YOU TO DO THAT?"
"I didn't think it was important, I—"
"I DON"T WANT TO HEAR IT. GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT AND THINK ABOUT YOUR LIFE." I yelled as he galloped back with the others.
I followed and dragged guy into pinkie pie's room. I sat down on a chair next to pinke pie while guy stared at me, confused. I turned around and teared up. I couldn't believe what was about to happen. I turned to face guy, and my normal hair caught fire once more, like it hasn't in a long time. I opened my wings, hoping to intimidate, and cleared my throat, tears streaming down my cheeks.
"HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL ME THAT YOU-" I sniffed, and my chest began to hurt at these words, "Are the love of my life?"
He stood, shocked. Then realized what i meant. He sighed and lifted my chin to face him. He cried and said " because i couldn't bear to lose you again."
