Amber's POV
I watched as Billy and Spencer were both glaring at each other.
"Unger. It's been a while." Spencer smirked, taking a step closer to him.
"Likewise, Boldman." Billy held his glare, as his hand tightened around me. Oh, ew...
I realized Billy was still holding me pressed to him, and I quickly withdrawn. Billy looked at me, his eyes filled with an emotion I couldn't place my finger on. What's going on. What's the deal between him and Spencer?
"Haven't seen you since Katie." Spencer started, but was cut off by Billy.
"Shut the fuck up." Billy hissed. His playful side was lost. And to be honest, I was kind of missing that right now. Wait, what? Shut up inner mind. Who was Katie?!
"Why don't you make me, Unger?" Spencer looked amused, as he watched Billy get even more pissed off.
"Oh, I will." Billy snapped, almost lunging for him. Stepping in between them, my back facing Spencer. I placed my hands on Billy's chest.
"Billy. Don't." I pleaded, lightly moving him back. Okay, I'll touch him only this time. Remind me to sanitize later.
"Amber, get out of the way." Billy demanded, still holding glares with Spencer.
"No. Billy, don't start this. You're better than that." I persisted. His gaze flickered to me, and then back to Spencer.
"We'll settle this later, Boldman." Billy stated, stepping back.
"Mutual, Unger." Spencer smirked, and he then looked to me.
"I'll call you, princesa." Spencer slightly smirked at Billy and walked away.
"That's it." Billy growled, lunging for him again.
"Billy!" I pushed him back again. Why is he being so hostile? All these questions I've been dying to ask, but now might not be the time. Billy grumbled something under his breath, and then looked at me.
"Sorry." He muttered, and then walked to where everyone else was at. Well then. Leave it to him to run off. I just decided to let him be. Maybe it's best to let him be. I know when I need to calm down, I have to be alone.
"Hey, Little A, come in the water with us!" Taylor cheered, walking towards me. Ah, Taylor. The annoying, yet sometimes nice one.
"I don't know how to swim." I admitted, staring at the beach.
Josh came running to where I was, and lifted me up in the air. What the hell. "Josh! Put me down!" I yelped, trying to get away.
"You don't need to know how to swim!" He smirked, walking into the water.
I hate my brother. Forces me to do things I don't want to. Josh placed me down in the water, and I walked over to Tyrel, Emma, Dylan, and Kelli.
Pushing through the forceful waves, I waved at them.
"Hey Amb, where ya been?" Kelli chirped, throwing an arm around my shoulder. Emma walked over as well.
"Yeah, we haven't had fun yet." Emma grinned, throwing an arm around me as well.
"You'll never believe who I encountered today." I told them. They both shared my mutual hate for Olivia. She knows not to mess with us, and she doesn't affect me either.
"Who?"
"Olivia."
"Olivia Holt?"
"Is there another slutty blondie idiot that knows my name?"
"You saw her?" Emma screeched.
"What'd she say?" Kelli questioned, as we talked more hushed to the side.
You see, this all started in our freshman year. Olivia was the queen bee- I mean bitch- in our school. When I began to get a couple friends, nerds, geeks, populars, and basically everyone was my friend. I don't care what you have to say. I like to be friends with anyone who doesn't bother me.
Anyway, she began to get upset. She thought I was stealing her 'Title.' She can keep her title of Annoying slut. She thought by bullying me, and picking on me, she would get me to leave Lakewood. It didn't work. We ended up fighting, and a broken plastic nose later, she left me alone.
Later on, she found out my brother was the new quarter back. So, my brother being the idiot he is, he dated her. It was the cliche. Quarterback dates the head cheerleader. She cheated on him. She cheated on him, with another guy. Josh never told me who it was. He was devastated. He never loved anyone after that. Until Jennifer came along.
I hate her. I had a lot of hatred, for what she did to my brother. After an incident, she suddenly left.
Emma snapped a couple times in my face.
"You zoned out." Kelli informed me.
"Oh."
"Well she told me to stay away from Billy Unger."
"Really? You didn't mention the fact that he was living with you, so you couldn't?" Emma questioned.
"And see that desperate bitch at my door everyday? No thanks." I snorted.
Kelli chuckled.
"Whatever. She knows not to mess with you." Emma nodded.
"Yeah, so enough with her, let's have some fun!" Kelli said enthusiastically, grabbing my hand and pulling me along. I laughed, and ran with them. Yeah, that's enough of the sappy me.
It kind of disturbs me, anyway. I felt cool water run down my back, and the sound of footsteps splashing away from me.
"You!" I shouted, chasing after Billy, the culprit who got my clothes wet.
"Glad I can make you wet so fast, baby." Billy smirks. My jaw dropped open. Did he just- No. Just no. I charged after him, and he stopped to splash me again.
"Unger." I seethed, hands balling into fists.
He chuckled.
"You mad, bro?"
