Q: I got cast as a role larger than both my sibling and friend. I don't want them to get mad or über jealous with me. What should I do since theatre is my life?
Mathilda: So I've had this problem many times. If it's a sibling try not to bring up the role or how much fun you're having with the part. Also introduce him/her to new friends you have made in the role. Hang out with his/her friends every so often. If it's your friend don't ignore them. Hang out with them as much as possible the rules for siblings also apply here. If it's a role your friend wanted be careful to avoid bringing it up. Also if you made new friends that aren't very close to your old friend, hang out with them equally but separately. It could be difficult on your friend so be prepared....
