With a slight frown on his face, he stared back and forth from San to me, before bringing his cold gaze back to me. He let out a loud exhale and pressed his lips into a line before opening the door wider to let us in.
He motioned his hand towards the sofa without looking our way, allowing us to take a seat. The tension was far too much for us to be comfortably seated though, so we remained standing.
As upset as he may be, he was never the type to turn anyone away. Maybe that's why I feel so guilty right now, as if I'm taking advantage of his weak point. But the silent treatment was past its due time, it's time we talk.
Yunho stood ahead of me and just kept the eye contact for quite a while. I knew exactly what that look meant, and as his eyes drifted onto San's, I immediately confirmed it was because he was here too.
"Are you not going to say anything? I mean you just show up out of the blue, the least you could do is tell me why you're here." He spoke in a slightly harsh tone
"I figured that it was time you explain your sudden cold shoulder." I retorted
"Yeah I see, perfect idea to bring San along for this." He spit out
I glanced over to San who was glaring at Yunho now. He rolled his eyes and tsked before turning away.
"Are you serious Yunho?" I scoffed
"Give me a call once this conversation is over, I'll be waiting outside. I don't think I can be any more patient than this." San whispered the last sentence to me before stepping outside
I immediately turned to Yunho again with a glare, "what are you so upset over!?"
"Who says I'm upset." He rolled his eyes and turned away
"You're acting like an asshole right now with no explanation whatsoever. Ever since I brought up marria-"
"You barely know him!" He suddenly turned to face me once again
"Is this what this is about!? We've been together for more than a year now Yunho!"
"And I've known you for much longer!" He yelled out
"And so what!? What is bothering you so much about him!?"
"I was there for you first! I stood beside you all these years only for him to show up out of nowhere and you- you..." he suddenly stops
His chest heaved up and down as he tried to calm himself. I went silent, just staring right back at him. He finally cut the eye contact and sat on the sofa before placing his hands over his face in regret.
"Yunho.."
I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder when all of a sudden he shoved my hand away.
"It's best if you leave now." He said
"Are you okay?"
"Whether I am or not, there's nothing you can do about it." He answered
"Do you really not want me around?" I asked as I fought back the tears that were threatening to drop
He kept silent, while I stood uselessly ahead of him.
"I think," he started, "I'm gonna be selfish for a while and spend time alone. I don't think I can see you anytime soon for now." He kept his eyes shut with his hands
"But you'll be back right?"
"I don't know." He exhaled making my heart sink
"Why are you doing this?" I let out in a shaky voice
My heart was aching as I held back all the words I wanted to scream at him. I know I had to give him space but I didn't want to lose him forever.
"Leo, just go. Please." He whispered desperately
I stood still in my place, silently, not being able to let out another word from the lump that choked my throat. If I were to say anything now, there's a good chance I just might break down here.
I nodded, accepting his decision. And without taking another glance at him, I turned away and walked up to the front door.
The moment San noticed me, he rushed over to me in curiosity, though I couldn't help but avoid his eye contact. There was no way I could bring any of this up in front of him now.
"How'd it go?" He softly asked
I shook my head without uttering a word. My eyes drifted off to the side, not being able to look at him.
"Are you alright?" His eyebrows furrowed in concern
I brought up my palms to cover my face before I broke down crying in front of him. San pulled me to his chest and tightly wrapped his arms around me.
"I want to go home." I cried out
"I understand, we'll go now but do you want to tell me what happened?" He asked
"No I don't want to talk about it." I cried on
"It's okay, its okay we won't talk about it then. Let's go home now."
He held my hand and led me to my seat. My cries gradually turned into sobs and sniffles, disturbing the peaceful quietness of the car ride.
"Let's go somewhere nice hm? Somewhere we can cheer up." San interrupted the silence halfway down the road
"I'm fine." I replied
"But I'm not."
After quite a while, San parked his car to the side and stepped out. I furrowed my brows while looking at him. He went over to my side and opened the door. I placed my hand onto the one he held out for me and got out.
"You always come here don't you." I asked
"Here and there. After all it holds one of my favorite memories." He smiled
I jokingly scoffed, but deep inside I wanted to hold onto him close and thank him for always being by my side. And thank god for bringing him to me.
"See, you're already cheering up." He pointed to the corner of my lips that had already seemed to be curving upwards
I couldn't help but smile wider. I turned away but I was suddenly pulled back to face him. He brought his hands up to cup my face.
"Let me admire you."
"Not now, there's people around." I mumbled and pushed his hands away
He let go of my face while softly chuckling. I intertwined our hands without glancing over at him. He squeezed my hands in reassurance before we started walking along the sidewalk of the park.
His favorite spot, he calls it. The same park I saw him for the first time ever. Oh yeah, I guess I never told him that.
"San."
"Hm?" He faced me
"I actually saw you that day. I just pretended like I didn't." I admit
His smile only grew after hearing that.
"I know. You were practically watching my every move." He started laughing
"I was not!"
"Yeah right, I saw you, you know."
"I was only watching whatever you were doing!" I argued
"Really?"
"Really!"
"Then what was I doing?" He smirked
"How am I supposed to remember." I scoffed and turned away
That only got him to laugh even louder. He paused to pull me into him and hold me tightly.
"You're my source of happiness. And I hope that one day, I can be yours too." He exhaled in relief
"Who says you aren't."
"I am?" He pulled back to see my face
"Are you serious?." I jokingly rolled my eyes at him
He kept quiet for a bit, studying my face with a soft smile on his. I couldn't help but look away in shyness.
"This isn't good."
"What? What do you mean?" I asked
"We have to get married soon. I can't wait any longer." He sighs
I pushed him off with a small chuckle. I walked on ahead despite his ongoing complaints behind me.
"I never said no." I spoke through a smile
He caught up beside me before grabbing my hand to intertwine them again.

"Wake up, you have to go to work." I shook him
San had opted to spend the night here despite me warning him that he'd be too tired to go to work. But he was too stubborn to listen. Of course I secretly enjoyed it, but he wouldn't hear that from me. But sometimes I just wonder, will our life be similar to this after marriage?
"I'm so tired." He groaned
"Thats why I told you to sleep earlier last night."
Without saying a word he pulled me back down making me fall over him.
"San!"
He wrapped his arms around me tightly so that I wouldn't escape all the while laughing.
"Just lemme hold you for a bit longer." He mumbled
I finally gave in and scooted closer to him to rest my head on his chest. I wouldn't complain if he decided to skip work today, I could stay like this forever.
"Are you going to skip today?" I asked
"I wish I could, but I have a lot to finish." He sighed
I nodded while feeling disappointment. That meant he wasn't going to be here for the rest of the day.
"Then you better get up now if you don't want to be late."
He finally sat up and looked at me. I couldn't help but laugh at his fluffy hair sticking up. I brought my hand up to his hair and brushed it down with my fingers.
"Thank you." He smiled with his eyes shut
"Call me once you're done with work."
"I will." He stood up and left to the bathroom
I sat on the bed, getting ready to go back to sleep after he leaves. This was the only time I was thankful I didn't have work to go to.
He was back from the bathroom after a few minutes. He opened the closet and took out his clothes that he had previously left here. He turned around to face me making me quickly look away.
"Are you watching me?" He laughed
"No." I laid back down and covered my face with the blanket
"I don't mind." He mumbled before changing
I slowly lowered the covers and peeked out. I wouldn't miss this sight. He swiftly took off his shirt and placed it down.
Oh I can't believe I'm getting married to this man one day. He grabbed his dress shirt and pulled it on him, buttoning it slowly.
"Leo I have to go now." He announced when he finished
I pulled the blanket back up, pretending like I hadn't seen a thing. He walked over to me and pulled it down. He smiled when our eyes fell on each other. He leaned down to my lips for a quick peck. He looked back at me for a a few seconds before he leaned down once again to capture them in his. He moved his soft lips against mine passionately, taking his sweet time in doing so. He added more pressure into it as it got heated. I sat up to pull him in closer when I felt him smile against my lips. He slowly pulled his lips away to finally part.
"I wish I could enjoy this longer but I'll be late if I don't go now." He kissed the top of my head
I smiled in response. He waved to me before shutting the bedroom door so I could sleep in longer. But I jumped up to watch him leave through the window.
It was as if he sensed me. He looked up to the window and waved again with a smile. I waved back before watching him drive off with his car.
