"Mother!! I'm home" I shouted into the house as Minho and I took off our shoes.
I was hella nervous though since Minho hadn't properly met my parents before. I heard footsteps and then out came my mom holding a tea towel and a cup in her hands. Cleary she was washing up.
"Oh Hi sweet-" She paused and looked at minho standing beside me. "Oh hello" She smiled. "Minho?"
I gulped. She let out a small gasp and smiled brightly "Nice to see you again Minho!" She went over and gave him a hug.
Minho was shocked by the welcome but hugged her back awkwardly. "Nice to see you too" He replied. Once she pulled back she chuckled "Now I have the chance to talk to you, I've heard plenty about you" She spoke.
"Mom!" I exclaimed. "What? You don't just expect me not to embarrass you" She tutted. Then she realised where we were still standing and hurried us into the kitchen for some tea.
"How silly of me not welcoming you in!" She sighed. "Here sit Minho! I'll boil up some tea"
Minho looked at me a little startled. I shrugged and sighed "She's like this" I whispered as she boiled the water.
Minho watched her whizz around the kitchen grabbing some cookies and cups. Then an arrange of different biscuits and cookies were placed on the table and two cups.
"Mom, i dont want-"
"Dont be rude Jisung" She warned. Anytime someone came over we all had to be apart of some meal. Like this, I had to have a cup of tea as well.
That was just the way my mom was.
"Now" She patted herself down. "Help yourselves" She smiled as she sat down across from us.
I started feeling oddly nervous. This was the closest thing to having my parents know Minho as someone close to me. I don't know what they'd think if I told them he was my boyfriend.
I would love to do that. Tell her that he isn't just a friend because I don't want her to see him that way but I feared it would have to stay that way.
I don't know how she'd react and I don't want it to end badly.
Minho took some of the biscuits, feeling obliged to do so. "Thank you Mrs. Han" He poiletly said. She scoffed "Don't be so formal, Nari is fine"
I actually didn't know what to do. I was face to face with my two worlds crashing together again. Minho, my boyfriend and My mom, my family.
I might talk to Minho about it later and see if I should tell her first.
Minho was drinking his tea now and mine was probably gone cold. My mom was asking Minho questions about himself when she noticed I hadn't drank it. "Why aren't you drinking your tea?" My mom asked.
"I told you I didn't want any" I shrugged and pushed the cup away from me.
She frowned a little "Sorry about him Minho" She gave a small smile. Minho shook his head "Its okay, I don't mind" He looked at me and smiled.
"You two must be very close!" She smiled and Minho choked on his drink. My eyes widened "Huh?" I asked.
"You two just look close" She smiled. "It's good to see"
"Jisung has troubles with being close to people" She chuckled. "Mom!!" I got embarrassed once again.
Minho hummed "He has no problem with that when he's with me" He was teasing me now. I nudged his leg under the table with my own.
He looked at me. "I'm not wrong" He smiled at me amused. "Aww that's so nice to hear" My mom spoke.
"It's not every so often Jisung makes new friends so I was really pleased to hear about you"
"Mom I swear to-"
"Jisung is just like a best friend" Minho smiled at my mom before placing his hand on my thigh. "We're best friends right?" he grinned. My mom got all excited. "That's great!" She then looked at me. "Are you alright sweetie? Your face is red"
I nodded slowly. My mind could only focus on the hand on my thigh. I felt dazed.
"We're gonna go to my room" I grabbed Minhos hand and dragged him up out of the kitchen and upstairs.
"What was that for!!" I exclaimed. He laughed a little "It was all jokes" He replied. I scoffed and sat down on my bed.
"I've never felt so embarrassed" I sighed. He sat down beside me "I didn't get to talk to your parents properly the last time after the party so I wanted to talk to your mom"
"But you didn't have to grab my thigh" I pouted at him. He then grabbed my thigh "You're mine now so I can touch your thigh if I want to"
I rose a brow "Did I tell you that you could?" I asked. Minho lifted his hand off my thigh slightly "Do you not want me to?" He sounded slightly worried now.
I should tease him bad now for the stunt he pulled in front of my mother.
"You can touch me wherever you want" I also embarrassed myself saying that. Well, I was mostly flustered but the look Minho gave me was priceless.
"Oh" He let out in a mumble. "I can now?" He asked. I nodded. He looked slightly less flustered. I had to think of something.
I took his hand and placed it back on my thigh. Only slightly higher than where he put it last time. He froze.
"If you're gonna put your hand on me, at least put it where I like" I shrugged.
"Jisung! I'm heading to the shop okay?" My mom shouted up at me. "Alright!" I said back down.
I waited for a few moments and heard the door close. I then turned to minho who was feeling up my thigh in his own thoughts.
"Well?" I spoke making him look up at me. "We're alone now"
I saw a small grin appear on Minhos face. "And what do you want?" He asked. I scoffed having enough of his teasing.
I pulled him in for a kiss.
