17. Baby shopping
"Is it this way?" Leon asked as he pointed to the shops opposite. "Yeah think so, can you hurry up? I don't think my bladder can hold any longer" you groaned, shifting once again in your seat. Leon laughed. "You best not be laughing" you ignored him.
"Here we are babe, shall I meet you in there?" He asked as he got out the car. "Yeah please, take my bag and get a trolley. We may need a lot of stuff" you told him before running to use the toilet. Leon walked in with the trolley, patiently waiting for you to get out.
"Sorry about that, right let's go babe" you smiled as you wrapped your arms round him and walked round the baby shop. "So am I stupid, but are we going to need loads" He asked. "Yeah babe, I have a list I found online. But my midwife gave me a list too, this is what I would need to bring just for me" you told him as you grabbed the list out of your bag.
"Here we go, this is both lists. Just pick up as much as we can. But I can order stuff online anyway" you told him as you wandered off over to the products.
"What are these?" He pulled a box of the shelf. "Breast pads, what?" Leon asked as you snatched them out of his hand. "They are for when you breast feed, so my milk doesn't leak. I'll be needing these, so chuck them in". You laughed.
"This whole pregnancy, makes me realise how much women have to go through. I admire you for carrying our baby" Leon admired you. "Aww Le, don't make me cry. My hormones are crazy and you will set me off" you wafted your eyes to stop you from crying. Leon hugged you and kissed your neck. "Sorry baby, I know you love it" you nodded and enjoyed his grip around you.
"Right so what are you thinking of now? Do you need clothes for you?" He asked you. "No I will just wear an old shirt or pyjamas. They will get all gross anyway, so there is no point in buying new stuff anyway" You told him.
"Alright okay, but I can give you some old shirts" He told you. "Aww thanks babe Now we need to find some more stuff, I am not coming all this way just for breast pads. Lets look at the boys clothes" You pulled him towards the baby clothes section.
"He is going to have more clothes than me" you groaned. "He won't Leon will he. Don't lie babe, you have far more clothes than anyone in the world" you giggled. "Rude babe, but fair point" You teased him.
"Oh Leon, look at this. How cute is that wardrobe? That would be perfect for his white and grey room" you said as Leon slowly wheeled the trolley over. "I like that, but that means I need to build it" Leon groaned. "Babe don't moan" you rolled your eyes at him once again.
"You are testing my patience today Leon Goretzka. If you weren't driving I would have gone home" you sighed at leaned on the trolley. "Sorry, come on. Is someone hungry?" He pouted.
"You are pissing me off so much, yes I am hungry. But I need to get this shopping. Look we have stuff, maybe go and pay" you snapped at him. "Maybe I will bring snacks for you because I can't having you hangry can we" Leon muttered. You sighed heavily, making Leon laugh and stop talking before you yelled again.
You paid for the everything and you headed back to the car. "I am so tired, wow growing a child takes it out of you" you sighed as you strapped your seatbelt in. "I can only imagine. Right shall we get food? There is a McDonalds nearby? want that" he suggested. "I knew you were the right man to marry wow" you smirked.
"Always babe, right lets go. You want the usual?" He asked you. "Yes please. But can I have extra pickles please. I need them so much" you told him. "Okay, anything else?" He asked again. "No that's it" you told him as he drove in the drive thru.
He passed you all your food. "Did I ever tell you how much I love you? You are such an angel" you grabbed his chin running his beard. "Aww no, tell me again darling. Inflate my ego" you laughed.
