It terrifies me.
People terrify me.
They lie to your face,
From day one.
And proclaim that they love you.
They would die for you.
They lay next to you in bed,
And caress your face,
Sweetly, gently.
But the next day,
They claim different.
And then they leave.
Leave you wondering.
People can wear a mask,
And nobody ever knows.
They toss words in our face like its acid.
To blind us from the true intentions they hide.
But when we finally see,
The damage is done.
People terrify me.
