Ophelia Amit perspective
Today is such a busy day. The majority of the time being a successful publisher for the news absolutely sucks. Like yes, sometimes it's fun. My dream since I was little was to become a publisher. When I was 11 I had started to write. Of course the story's weren't good, I was 11, but it was the only fun I had found. I'm an introvert, my parents would force me to socialize. God I hate socializing. I write to express my emotions since, I'm not the best at verbally expressing said emotions. I find writing is much better for any situation. Plus you don't have to look at someone in the eyes to! Great bonus.
I've been working at Sunrise Newell for 2 years almost, I'm 20 years old. I bet you can guess what city I live in, if ya can't then I live in Newell. There's me and 3 other publishers. I work at the office most of the time but, I do sometimes work at home. I'm the youngest publisher here. I sometimes end up with more work than everyone else somehow which is really annoying. I've always lived in Newell with my parents and my sister. My family ended up moving out of Newell sadly. It's even more unfortunate that I've lost contact with all of them..Instead of trying to forget them, I cherish the memories I have with them and remember that people come and go in your life. I don't have a lot of friends. I keep to myself mostly. The friends I do have are the people I trust the most in this world. Jackson and Archie. I've never kept friends for long, never for more than..4 months. But this friendship..We've been friends for a year and a half. They're the only people I want to hangout with. We don't talk about work, we talk about funny stuff, you know? Things to get your mind off work. I can't stand people who go to work , go hangout with some friends and talk about work. How? Why? You've literally just done a 6 hour shift and you go talk about MORE work. 6 hours is already enough for me, most of the time I'm not even working for those hours. People are weird. Then again...I hate a lot of people so.
Anyways, life right now has been...Interesting. I mean like, every day is interesting, but this past week has got Sunrise Newell PACKED with what's going on in this tiny city. There's always the normal stuff, you know, deaths, robbery's, big storms, DUI, burglary. Basically the usual. Well the usual for this small city. But this time, this stuff is made for bigger city's, you know? Not this small city, no, a city where no one knows each other outside of family and friends. This time it's completely different...Completely different.....
