Miri pov:

I sighed in frustration as yet another Imperial patrol stopped the bus to search it, I looked outside with an air of boredom when I saw Kasana, Light and Tiran come around the corner. I waved and knocked frantically to get their attention, eventually Light noticed me and looked towards Tiran while pointing at me. Tiran followed her finger and said something to the others while he broke into a run, Kasana and Light following close behind. As they boarded the bus the imperial patrol stopped them then waved them on almost instantly. Light came over and I saw Tiran and Kasana take a spare seat a few rows down while Light waved and sat down behind them.

2 and three quarters of an hour later, Math class

I glanced back over my shoulder towards Kasana and Light who were working on a quadrilateral problem and I sighed and turned back to my own work. Geography was not my best subject, especially as the Empire had alerted astronomers and schools to the presence of another galaxy outside of the Milky Way and it's surrounds. I half turned around to whisper at Kasana but the whisper died in my throat. Inquisitor. And Miri. I swallowed hard and nudged Kasana and Light, they both turned a question on their faces that soon turned to horror upon seeing Miri. "I have a few questions for your class. Specifically Tiran, Kasana and..." She turned to Miri, "Light." Miri pointed to Light and I felt her stiffen under the Inquisitor's supposed gaze. "You three come with me." The Inquisitor pointed to Kasana, Light and me, before walking out into the corridor. I nervously got up and glanced at Light and Kasana before following the inquisitor out. The inquisitor kept walking until we got to the lunch tables. "Sit." I complied shoving old snickers wrappers out of the way to make room for Light and Kasana. The Inquisitor motioned for Miri to sit down on the seat beside her. "I am the Second Sister of the band of Inquisitor's. And this," She gestured to Miri, "...Is my new apprentice." Dead silence followed the Inquisitor's statement. I glanced over at Miri, her face was devoid of any emotion as she spoke. "My new mentor," Miri gestured to the Second Sister, "Has found that I am force sensitive. As such, she has very willingly and graciously  decided to train me. However, I need your help. As sometimes I will be training during class time, I still would like to complete my schooling. You three are all in my classes, and I was wondering if you could possibly give me what you've learnt that day so I can study it later." Miri finished looking expectantly at us. Light spoke first, "So you won't actually BE AT SCHOOL at all?" Light finished, hurt in her voice looking downcast. I put my arm around her and comforted her. "It's all right, you can still see her when we give her what we've learnt for the day." I looked back at Miri and gave her a small nod. I turned back to the Second Sister. "Are we free to leave to go back to class, we were sort of studying for tomorrow's exam."

Can you hear me? I thought. Kasana appeared in my mind followed by Light. What is it? What happened? I thought back to our conversation earlier with the Second Sister. With Miri Force sensitive as well as a trained Force user working against us, we need to block out our Force signature. We need Aayla to train us, before it's too late.

Miri pov:

As I followed my mentor out of the classroom I felt a sense of elation at being a force user. I was worried about Light though, we had been friends since I was 4, and I was going to leave her to become better at the force, not a bad thing, but something she might take badly. At least if they agreed to my proposition then I would see her in the evening to collect what we had learned about. I felt something weird through the force for an instant and I looked back to see Tiran nervously coming along. Kasana also looked skittish and kept glancing back over her shoulder as if she was expecting an ambush. Light just looked worried about something, anxiously looking at me, burning question's in her eyes. Are you in trouble? Do you need our help? What happened?

I followed my mentor and remained silent as she sat down the rest of my friends on the lunch table. As my master explained my situation to Tiran, Kasana and Light, I read their expressions very carefully as my Master had told me on the day I met her, however I was drawn to Light's anguished expression as she heard that I wasn't going to be at school anymore. The Second Sister gestured for me to speak my plan to keep up with school but also become an inquisitor. I spoke my plan in a hushed tone, noticing Kasana and Tiran exchange looks more than once then look at Light worriedly.

My master beckoned me to join her after my friends left to go back to class, "Well, it is time to start your training little one. First lesson: Lightsaber techniques and using the force to... defend your own." The Second Sister handed me a lightsaber and I started to connect to the kyber crystal using the force. I funneled all my hate and my anger into it, before placing the crystal inside the lightsaber and igniting the double blades.

A few weeks later... (I'm too lazy to write it lol)

Tiran pov:

Aayla was training us again, however our lightsaber colours had changed to be a mixture of green and yellow, with Light's fully purple. Turns out that Kasana was a natural at using the force with her lightsaber. "Well done, you have all bested me at lightsaber forms 3, 4, and 6, however, I think Kasana should practice with either a double-bladed lightsaber, of which I have one that belonged to Satele Shan, or practice with two single bladed lightsabers. I nodded and went to fetch the lightsaber bag that Aayla had brought with her from Coruscant, it contained many Masters and Padawan lightsabers as she could fit, including many of the ancient Jedi relics from the Old Republic era. I felt a cold breeze and I frowned, the door should have been locked, but as I went closer I understood with fear jumping into my throat. Miri. She had said that she would come over today to collect her work for the night that we had done in school that day. But she was also training to be an inquisitor. She must have seen all of us training with Aayla, I grabbed the bag of lightsabers and handed Kasana the double-bladed lightsaber and quickly told the others what I feared. Light went outside onto the roof to watch and Aayla hid behind the door, concentration masking her gaze as she hid her force signature.

Miri pov:

I saw Lightsaber training and I immediately called my master to the address, telling her to bring as many purge troopers as she could muster. After about five minutes my Master rounded the corner with about twenty purge troopers behind her. The purge troopers spread out around the house encircling it with their deadly Jedi hunter blasters pointed at the house. My master nodded to me and barged throught he door, it gave away easily and she stepped into the entrance, igniting her double lightsabers as she did so, but from the corner of my eye I noticed that only Tiran and Kasana were present, looking very surprised to see an inquisitor here. "Can we, uh, can we help you?" Tiran said stepping forward nervously looking at the double blades of death my master held. "Where is the Jedi that was here earlier?" Tiran looked at Kasana and before my Master could make a move, she was speared through with a blue lightsaber from behind the door,  I couldn't move staring as my Master fell to the floor, her lightsabers deactivated, Tiran and Kasana quickly surrounded me, lightsabers drawn. I dropped my own to the floor and held my hands above my head. "There are about twenty purge troopers out there." I whispered as Tiran stepped toward the door. " The blue twi'lek that had killed my master stepped from behind the door, picking up my lightsaber and carefully putting it in a second pocket in her bag. "Are they troopers from the Clone Wars?" I didn't answer until she prodded me, realizing she was talking to me I answered. "I believe so." The twi'lek didn't hesitate and grabbed a communicator off my Master's body. "Execute order 121." Immediately there was firing and shouting until at last it subsided. I looked at the twi'lek bursting to ask a question. "I fought in The Clone Wars. That's how I knew." I stared at her, dumbstruck by the fact  that she had JUST READ MY MIND. All of my allies, dead in less than two minutes. I sat down weakly in the entranceway of what was to be one of my master's greatest successes, now an abysmal failure. "She IS strong in the force. No wonder the inquisitors wanted her." I flinched as the truth dawned on me in a heartbeat. The inquisitors never wanted to train me, they simply didn't want me to train as a Jedi. I used the force to quietly retrieve my lightsaber and reconnect with it, placing the peace and certainty along with my desire to protect the tranquility I had found. I rolled it over to Tiran, who surprised at my action picked it up. He looked at it all over until he eventually turned the forward blade on. A purple blade shot out from the hilt before a deadly blue arc sprung out of the other end. Tiran and Kasana looked at each other and nodded. The twi'lek spoke first. "You have been found worthy of training by the New Jedi Order. Do you accept this position as my Padawan?"

A/N: Buahahaha, no seriously, I intend to end this ficlet next chapter, so if you have any ideas you want in, I'm all ears.
