Angry Drunk
I never let myself drink when I'm angry. Actually angry drunks are the worst kind of drunks.
And being the happy drunk is so much more enjoyable.
In fact I'll even drink when I'm sad so I can forget myself if only for a minute so I can let my brain become jumbled, but I will never drink when I'm angry.
Im afraid, afraid that I will end up like my dad.
That my hands will turn into his closed up fists, and my mouth will spew out dirty sewage. I heard he is the best happy drunk there is, until he isn't. Until something tics him off or maybe he had a bad day, but I will never drink when I'm angry.
Petrified, petrified is a better word. Im petrified my dad will crawl out of me like vines growing up an abandoned wall, over taking any open surface.
I'm petrified I will grow old like him, drink like him, be like him.
I will never drink when I'm angry.
