No One's P.O.V
Mai was walking around as she had nothing to do. She finished her work for the day quite a while ago and was glad she never had to do paperwork again or at least she hoped so. Luckily for her Hideo was at school and wold not be able to bother her for a while as Reborn kept him busy.
The morning was really eventful starting of as Hideo being hit by the 10 ton hammer that Reborn used to use on her, running down in his boxers before almost being shot by real bullets. These are the good times. As long as Hideo changed she would have no reason to try to become the next Vongola boss, she could remember all the paperwork her guardians caused her to do. Each new day there was a mountain of piles and the worst part was that she could only sign it as not to have someone use a stamp. After that she would have to calm down her guardians. Those were hellish times and she would love to never see them again, don't be mistaken, she loved her guardians but more often than not did she want them to drown because of the pain they caused.
Luckily for her she hadn't seen them as Hayato was not in Japan, Takashi never met her, Lambo was in Japan, Ryohei never met her, Kyoya didn't need to meet her and Mukuro and Chrome never met her in this parallel world but hey she wasn't complaining. Chrome had actually been the only guardian who never caused her any trouble now that she thinks about it.
After the last thought a large boom sound had interrupted her. When she ran to the area she saw something that she had wished half heartedly to never see again because she still loved him but his attitude caused her more problems than she liked.
Mai P.O.V
After hearing a loud boom sound that sounded mysteriously like Hayato's dynamite when he was younger I immediately ran to the site despite the foreboding I felt at possibly seeing Hayato again. At the same time I couldn't help but feel excited at the large possibility of seeing him again even if he reminded me too much of her worst enemies, dogs.
As they say wish and you shall receive. Right where the boom sound came was a smirking Hayato looking very angry with his same scowl that he used to wear before he chose to become her old right hand man.
Around him was about 20 people, each with a weapon. Hayato himself was already injured with cuts on his body and before I could think I ran as quick as I could before grabbing Hayato's hand, running as fast as I could and when I thought we were far enough I let go, momentarily missing the feeling of his hand.
After turning around I slapped him yelling, "You idiot! What happen if you got killed?! You can't face then in your state!"
Hayato answered, "Why do you even care?! I've never even met you before!"
I answered "Who cares who I am? Also who cares if I never met you before? Do I need a reason to help you? Is there a rule saying that I can't help you? What an idiot."
Hayato replied "I'm not an idiot! Besides everybody has a reason to help others, you don't just help others! That's how the world is."
I looked down, this is how much Hayato suffered before I met him in the old world. Looking back up I smiled and he looked taken aback by my smile.
I said "That's right, I have a reason-"
Hayato interrupted "See you do have a motive for helping me!"
I smiled, no, not an innocent smile but a deadly smile in which sent shivers down Hayato's spine.
I said "Let me finish before you interrupt ne ~. Anyway as I was saying I do have a reason and that reason is to be your friend. Now let's introduce ourselves, my name is Sawada Mia. What is your name?"
Hayato looked like he was about to obect but a quick smile had changed his mind.
Hayato then said "In Japan you would call me Gokudera Hayato."
I smiled, not a deadly smile but a happy one before saying "Nice to meet you Hayato-kun."
Hayato mumbled back "Che. Idiot, who would be happy to meet you."
That's what he said but I could feel the slight happiness in his voice as he said it. I smiled again and grabbed his hand.
"Come on, let's go to my house. You're a foreigner right? Do you have a place to stay?", I ask.
Hayato answered "Yeah but I don't have a place to stay for now."
I frowned, how did Rebon expect him to live in Japan without a place to live.
Smiling again, I said "Then stay with me."
He didn't answer but I didn't need one, to me his silence was enough as an answer. I immediately dragged him to my house while he wasn't protesting, knowing that when he realized where he was he wouldn't like it.
After finally getting home, I dragged him to my room and placed him on bed. After making sure he was comfortable I went back to work in my room so I would be there when he awakes.
Not long after I got home, Hideo came back but wasn't able to come into my room due to Reborn's interference. Instead Reborn came upstairs himself to see Hayato in my bed with my right hand holding his while my left hand was on the laptop doing the work.
I inwardly smiled saying "He's mine. You can't have him Reborn."
Reborn tilted his fedora and smirked, saying "You can have him if you want but it's up to him in the end."
I answer "No because he is not allowed to. He-is-mine and you cannot take him away from him. Do you understand Reborn, because if you object I'll have to punish you.~"
After that Reborn left, saying "You are one dangerous and possessive person Sawada Mai."
I answered "Thank you for the compliment."

Thank you for your encouragement! I'll try to update as much as I can but I have after school activities tomorrow so I won't be able to start my new chapter tomorrow. This is for that. Ja ne.^^
