── IT HAD BEEN A month since they'd started going to Elvis' party. The weather was starting to turn coldand the leaves were falling dreamily off the trees.
Sophia sits at the small kitchen table, scribbling down some notes for school.
Priscilla sits on the opposite side, lazily drawing on her own notebook.

Through out the last few party's, Sophia had grown fond of Dean and had started talking to him on a deeper level. Both laughing at the most immature things and overall just having a good time. While Priscilla still was in awe of Elvis who couldn't keep his attention on one girl at one time. Sophia glares at him from across the room each night, making sure he saw the daggers.

Priscilla sighs loudly, Sophia looks up in annoyance.

"Can you not breath so loud, i'm trying to concentrate."

Sophia gets back to her work while Priscilla just aggravates her more, she breaths louder this time.

"Cilla I'm serious." Sophia warns momentarily looking up at her sister who had an innocent look on her face.

This time when Sophia starts writing Priscilla kicks the elf of the table, making the pencil leave an ugly line mid word. Sophia throws her pencil down looking at Priscilla.

"I'm bored."

Sophia rolls her eyes, picking her pencil back up, "Ok, what do you want me to do about that?"

Priscilla kicks the table leg again, this time repeatedly. Making it impossible for Sophia to write. She shrugs, "Are you excited for tomorrow?"

Sophia's cheeks flush a pink color, of course she was! She'd been counting down the days since Dean had asked her to go to the fair with him. It felt so strange being asked out.

"I'm nervous more than anything," She looks up at her sister who's arms are wrapped around her legs comfortably, "How bout you? You excited to see that rat of yours?"

Priscilla giggles, "He's not a rat." she shakes her head and looks down.

Sophia rolls her eye playfully, she found it strange how quick Elvis and Priscilla were progressing. Most nights Elvis and Priscilla would disappear upstairs. Curry reassured her that they weren't doing anything but Sophia wasn't sold.

Sophia furrows her eyebrows, "What do you and Elvis do together anyways?"

"What do you mean?" Priscilla looks up.

Sophia looks at her sister intently, "I mean when you go upstairs..." she looks at her sister as she fiddles with the pencil which is between her fingers.

"we just..." Priscilla looks up through her long lashes, "talk."

"Talk?"

"Yeah, about everything. Mostly about our lives and things we like..."

Sophia looks at her sister again, her curiosity growing, "So you don't... you know... cus if he does I'm going to kill him."

Priscilla looks up surprised, she was surprised she'd been suggest such a thing, "No, no, god no." Priscilla shoots in defense, "I'd never... yeah." she awkwardly picks at her fingers. She lets a nervous giggle escape her.

Sophia let's out a long breath which she didn't know she'd been holding in.

"What about you and Dean? Have you kissed him yet?" Priscilla teases, making fake kissing noises.

Sophia laughs picking her pencil back up again, "Shut up and let me finish my work." She swerves the question...

Trying to act casual but her cheeks betrayed her...

*flashback*
-

Sophia giggled as she leaned on the cool counter top in the military house.

Dean poured himself a cup of water from the sink.
Sophia had been talking to Dean for a little over 3 weeks. Calling him frequently and seeing him every-time her and Priscilla would go over to the house.

Dean walks over to perch near Sophia, his arm finds its way around her and he pulls her closer. He takes a long sip of his water. Staring at her as he drinks.

Sophia giggles, "What? Do I have something in my face?"

A goofy grin spreads on Deans face, his untamed gold locks scatter across his forehead. He puts the cup down, gulping down the water with the smile still remaining. "No, you just look real pretty tanignt."

Sophia smiles as Dean moves closer to her, "Are you saying I don't look good every time you see me?" A bashful smile creeps onto her face, she keeps her arms crossed over her chest in a comforting manner.

"I didn't mean that ya... i meant... i mean-" he stambers over his words, looking down and trying to recollect his thoughts.

Sophia laughs at him, she places a hand on his cheek, forcing him to look at her, "I was just teasing you." She smiles at him and starts to laugh harder, "you should've seen you face!"

Dean looks up, his cheeks burn in embarrassment, "man you must think me a total idiot."

"Hm... your not a total idiot..." she says he laugher slowing. She became aware of her hands resting on his cheeks. The way he was blushing and the way the air was growing thicker. Her heart thumps in her chest harder against her rib cage.

Their laughter halts completely, the only sound is the party which keeps going from the outside of the kitchen.

Dean slowly starts to lean into Sophia, corning her into the counter. She leaned back fully, letting him hold her in any way he wanted. He puts his hands on her waist softly. Sending butterfly all over Sophia.

Slowly and slightly awkwardly Dean pushes his lips on Sophia'. His lips slightly rough against hers. She squeezes her eyes shut.

HER FIRST KISS.
HER FIRST REAL KISS.

Is this how a kiss is supposed to feel?

Dean and Sophia kiss for what feels like to Sophia hours but it was truthfully only a few seconds. Only the loud music played outside, laughter being heard through the thick wooden door.

The kitchen door swings open, the familiar voice of someone interrupts the moment. The music becomes louder and the laughter becomes louder as well when the door opens.

"Shit..." The deep voice gravels, "M' sorry..."

Sophia leans her head back, breaking the kiss. She looks at the door and sees Elvis standing with an awkward look spread across his shape features. She blinks a few times.

For a second Sophia makes eye contact with Elvis, the smallest hint of something embeds in his eyes. His face drops momentarily. Sophia can't quite put her finger on it. The moment ends quickly as Elvis walks to the cupboard and grabs a cup, quickly getting water before nodding at Dean and letting the door swing behind him. Leaving an awkward atmosphere.

Sophia furrows her eyebrows, she looks back at Dean, "what was that about?" Sophia asks looking at him trying to see if he saw what she saw in his face. Dean shrugs in response, brushing it off and pulling away from Sophia...

...

Sophia giggles all the way to the fair, she draws shapes on her thigh nervously. She could already see the brightly lighten fair.

"So you ain't never been to a fair?"

Sophia shrugs looking up at the moving road, "Not really, I mean my dad took me and Cilla once. Thought I don't remember it."

Dean nods, he lets his finger drum lightly against the steering wheel to the song.

"You like this song?" Sophia raises her eyebrows, observing the light beat of his fingers.

Dean nods, momentarily looking at her, "It's ma favorite,"

Sophia wrinkles her nose, she'd never expected someone like Dean love such a tacky song.

"What? You don't like it?" Dean laughs at Sophia's upturned nose.

"It's not that I don't like it...."

"You don't need to lie," He teases, he slides his hand off the steering wheel onto her knee, he moves his hand along to the best of the song.

Sophia tenses at the unfamiliar touch, she tucks her hands underneath herself.

She averts her eyes to the fair as Dean rolls into the small parking lot.

"It's so bright!" Sophia observes with a bashful smile plastered on her face, joyfully.

Dean smiles looking back at her, he parks his car in a narrow parking spot, "If you think it's bright know then you'll be blinded inside."

Sophia smiles eagerly, Dean turns off the engine with a halt and opens his door. Sophia smiles to herself.

Dean walks past her door and instead has a confused look on his face, "Sophia?"

Sophia looks up at Dean, "oh sorry," She says embarrassed climbing out of the black car.

"What were ya doin?" Dean cocks his left eyebrow, he slides his hands into his pockets.

Sophia blushes looking down at the floor, "Sorry I just got spaced out." She nods and smiles.

Sophia embarrassingly walks beside Dean. To her surprise he didn't offer his hand to her nor did he open the car door for her. She anxiously played with her own fingers while Dean walked along side her. He pointed out various rides, games and food they could try.

"Are you hungry?" Dean finally breaks the silence, Sophia looks up out of her daze.

"Uh... yeah." She nods, her cheeks flushing at the shimmer in his deep brown eyes.

Dean nods, he grasps her cold hand in his, "just wait right here."

Sophia sits down at the small picnic bench which was situated in the middle of the sea of people. She folds her hands neatly on top of her leg. She twists her fingers in the thick fabric of her dress.

A few loud squeal came from the mosh of people, a few more followed. Sophia raised her head, she looks around at were the girls were screaming. A small crowd was forming around something... or someone.
Sophia leans forward onto the table, trying to see through the crowd. She squints her hazel eyes until she can make out what their yelling at.

Her face drops...

A particular tall raven haired cockily walks over, striding with a smirk on his face as woman throw themselves at him. Sophia rolls her eyes, scoffing as the rest of his friends pour behind him. Trying to pry the young woman off of him, they looked like they were about to eat him alive.

Elvis keenly looks directly at Sophia through sunglasses, his smirk deepens. Sophia flushes at the sudden attention, she looks down on the table trying to avert her gaze.

"Look what we have here..." Elvis stands in front of Sophia looking better than ever.

"I was starting to think someone one important was here, with all those girls squealing..." Her tone laced with a slight annoyance, tilting her head to get a better look at him, "But of course it was just you."

Elvis chuckles, the hollering of girls continued but yet all Sophia could hear was the beating drum in her chest. It beat hard against her rib cage.

"Ain't my fault all them girls love me..." He throws back casually. He had a cheeky smile on his face as if there wasn't a whole mob of girls surrounding him.

"What are you doing here."

"Same thing you are, little one."

Sophia can't hold back the growing blush on her face at the pet name.

Little one.

Sophias eyes are slights, she looks through him. She tilts her head to one side to gaze at him, the moment only lasts a few seconds.

"Sophia..." Deans voice trails off, he looks at Elvis who is abnormally calm. His usual arrogant smirk lays perfectly on his tan features. The fair lights perfectly illuminating his perfect skin and the soothing ice blue of his clear eyes.

Sophia flips her head to Dean. He holds a bottle of coke with two straws and a fluffy pink stick of cotton candy which perfectly matched Sophia's dress.

Elvis' jaw clenches at the sight of Dean who was more nervous than anyone to see Elvis.

"Elvis." Dean nods, he looks down at Sophia with an equally annoyed face. His face says it all.

Dean slides into the bench next to Sophia, laying a protective arm around her shoulder. Sophia turns to look at Dean which seemingly did nothing. His attention on Elvis who's jaw was clenching harder.

"E, we really need to go, we ain't to sure we can keep them girls off you. Soon there's going to be mobs." Joe laughs leaning over to Elvis, "Seriously man, hurry it up."

Sophia raised both eyebrows again with the same unimpressed bored look plastered on her pretty face.

"Mmm..." Elvis hums nodding, "Have fun on your... date." Elvis grits his teeth together, reaching and grabbing the coke bottle out of Deans hand. He takes out the two straws and sips the coke while staring directly at Dean with a strange possessive look. Something Sophia couldn't quite place.
