Third Person PoV
Tiffany watched as George was dragged into the house. Blaire stood behind her sister and wondered what Tiffany did.
"Blaire, you should go. I don't want my sister to see what I'm about to do."
Blaire chuckled.
"Tiff, that's absurd. Why would I leave when it's just getting started? Don't worry about me. Just do what you have to do. I'll take care of the aftermath later."
Tiffany smiled before strutting toward George, who was fairly confused about why he was there.
"Let me go, you bitch!"
Tiffany used the back of her hand to slap Heorhe across the face. He fell face first before the guards grabbed him by his armpit, forcing him to face Tiffany and Blaire.
"You know what you did. And I'll be Damn if I ever let you leave. Bring him to the red room."
The guards nodded. Tiffany and Blaire followed suit as they went to the red room. It's been a while since the red room door are open again. The last time they were in this room, Tiffany had to go to court a few times until proven guilty.
"What are you doing?! Let me go! You can't do this to me! Let me go you fucker!"
The guard strapped George to the chair before they left the room. Blaire takes a seat at one of the armchairs before crossing her legs. George watched as Tiffany kept staring at him without saying anything.
"What are you doing? Where are you going?! Let me go!"
George continued to struggle as he tried to release himself from the strap. Tiffany looks around the table before grabbing a pair of surgical scissors and a scalpel. George's eyes widen when Tiffany takes a chair and places it before him.
"What- what are you doing?! Stop! Stop it!"
Tiffany placed a finger on her lips before smiling at George.
"I just want to know why. Why did you hurt Liliana? That's it. Tell me the truth."
George was about to deny it when Tiffany stabbed his thigh with the scalpel. The room was filled with his agonizing scream as Tiffany continued to move the scalpel back and forth.
"I told you to tell me the truth. Is it that hard to tell me the truth?"
Blaire keeps an eye on her sister as she interrogates George. It's been a few years since she saw her sister this way. Tiffany is the type of person who hides her true feelings rather than expressing them in her facial. This time, Tiffany didn't even bother to hide her expression at all. She smiled when Tiffany grabbed a pair of scissors and proceeded to cut off George's left ear.
"If you refuse to tell me, I'll shove this ear of yours into your mouth. Now, speak."
George glared at Tiffany and said,
"Because she chose you over me. My life is ruined! Why would she have gotten to have a happy ending while I suffered?! That's not fair! It's not fair!"
Tiffany pulled out the scalpel from George's thigh and sighed.
"So that's the only reason for all the trouble you've caused my fiancée? What a dumb reason. Normally, I would just let the police do their job, but in this case, I can't let you go. You've done many shorty things, and it was the last straw when you took away her legs. I can't forgive you."
Tiffany grabbed George's leg before using the scalpel to cut the veins around his ankle. George screamed in pain as she tried to kick Tiffany with his other leg.
"You fucker! Fuck!"
Tiffany grabbed a hold of George's other leg and said,
"What's wrong, little Georgie? Are you in pain? Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you would feel pain. I mean, you've been giving it to others and thought you're immune."
George watched in horror as Tiffany used the scalpel to cut the veins on his other legs. He screamed while Tiffany lifted herself from the floor and turned to her sister.
"Give me your scrunchie."
Blaire was confused, but she did as told.
"Shove it into his mouth."
Blaire was shocked.
"Excuse me?! Do you know how expensive my scrunchie is?! It's from Prada!"
Tiffany sighed.
"I'll buy you a whole store. Now, shove it into his mouth. His voice is getting annoying, and I have other things to do to him. You know what, give it to me."
Blaire sighed before giving her scrunchie to her sister. She watched with a heavy heart as Tiffany shoved her scrunchie into George's mouth.
"Please don't forget you have a meeting with an important client tomorrow. Don't stay up late torturing the man. You have to give him to the authorities sooner or later."
Tiffany smiled.
"Why are you smiling like that?"
Blaire asked before using her fist to hit George's face repeatedly. Blaire take a few step back and watch her sister.
"Tiff? Are you okay?"
Tiffany suddenly got up and looked down on George, who was bound on the chair.
"We're done here. Liliana is waiting for me. Tell the guards to call for the police tomorrow. Let this bastard suffer."
Tiffany reached out for the ear that was cut off before shoving it into George's mouth. Tiffany smiled before walking out of the red room. Blaire stayed for a moment as he watched George struggling.
"Man, you're lucky that my sister remembers that someone is waiting for her. Because if she doesn't, I have no choice but to create a story about how you were found dead in a ditch."
George keeps glaring at Blaire.
"Georgie, do you want to know how we knew you hurt Liliana? Someone gave us a tip. And do you want to know who gave us the evidence needed to accuse you? It was Selena."
George couldn't believe his ears.
"You know- Selena was desperate for my help. Her company is evrything for her, and she doesn't care if she has to betray anyone to ensure her company stays afloat. It wasn't that hard to turn her against you. After all, money is everything for a business owner."
Blaire turned her attention to the door when the guards entered.
"Ah. Here you are. You may call the police tomorrow. Says you found this man fainted by the roadside with all these wounds. And George, if you know what's best for you, keep your thoughts to yourself. Also-"
Blaire leaned closer to George and said,
"Your family will suffer along with you."
Blaire laughed before she left the red room.
A few days later,
Liliana's PoV
"Tiffany did what?!"
Blaire was shocked to see me and Janet by the door.
"Lily?! I- Um- I'll call you back."
She hangs up the phone and faces me.
"What did Tiffany do? I heard something, but I want to make sure. Did she involve herself in something illegal?"
Suddenly, Tiffany appeared from one of the rooms with confusing looks.
"What's happening? Why is everyone staring at me?"
Tiffany asked as she acted like she didn't know why I was like this. After I knew George was the one who drove the car that hit me, I was speechless because I knew for sure that George wouldn't be that shallow. But of course, after losing everything he worked hard on stealing, even the most angel-like person would succumb to evil thoughts.
Again, I have never wished for something so cruel to happen to my ex. Well, Tiffany thinks differently, I supposed, because if what I heard earlier is true, then Tiffany is in trouble.
"In my defense, I am not as forgiving as you. But don't worry, he's alive, and Blaire took care of evrything."
I asked Janet and Blaire to leave us alone. After we were alone, Tiffany smiled at me.
"Let's go to the garden."
Tiffany immediately went to my side, and we both went to the garden.
"I understand your anger for me, but hurting someone else is not the way, Tiff. What if he died when you- I don't even want to say the word."
Tiffany sat on the bench.
"Torture?"
I gasped.
"Tiff!"
Tiffany chuckled. Is this a laughing matter?
"Honey, everything is going to be alright. Don't worry yourself. Let's focus on our wedding. There's a lot of things we need to plan together."
The wedding- I-
"Speaking of the wedding, Tiff- are you sure you will marry me?"
Tiffany gave me a look yet again.
"Of course! Why wouldn't I? Lily, it doesn't matter if you can't walk. All I care about is our future together. Without you, my life is dull. Didn't I promise to be your supporter? And I'm planning to do so until my last breath. Now let's stop talking about this and plan our wedding. We haven't chosen the venue yet. I'm thinking maybe Santorini. Or perhaps Bali?"
Huh? We're going abroad for our wedding?
"I was thinking of having the wedding here and booking a big enough place. Do we have to go abroad?"
Tiffany gasped.
"Honey, we only get married once. Of course, we have to go all out. Anyway- what do you think of Thailand? Or maybe we should go to St. Lucia in the Caribbean? My parents went to the Caribbean for their wedding. And I saw the pictures- it looks amazing."
This is my first time seeing Tiffany so excited. I got to my phone and searched for a wedding destination through Google. There are a lot of places that seem perfect, but-
"I have always been dreaming of going to Rome. What do you think about having our wedding in the beautiful Italian countryside?"
Tiffany hummed as she looked at the places I had shown her.
"I see the charms. But are you sure you don't want an exotic wedding in Antarctica?"
What now? Is this woman even considering my state? How am I supposed to enjoy the wedding without worrying about me being a nuisance?
"Tiff, are you okay? Did you forget that I'm in a wheelchair? How am I supposed to go to Antarctica like this?"
Tiffany smiled.
"Everything is possible, darling. You have to believe."
~ Three Years Later ~
Liliana's PoV
"How are you feeling? Does it feel better now that you have pillows under your legs?"
Tiffany suddenly got up to a sitting position before sighing hard.
"My feet hurt. Is there anything else that I can do?"
I wish I could do something to make her feel better.
"I'm okay, though. Just my feet hurt from the walking I did today. Yes, I should stay in my office, but I must scold a few departments for being stupid!"
Ah, here comes the mood swings. I smiled before telling her to lie down again.
"What are you doing?"
I smiled.
"I'm massaging your feet. Don't worry- relax and enjoy the moment."
We have been married for three years, and we decided to get pregnant. Tiffany said she would carry the first pregnancy because she wanted to go through the experience herself. Of course, I am worried sick since she has to travel a lot for her work, but now that she's in her last trimester, I forbid her from going to the office.
But today Tiffany has to go since she has an important meeting and now she's in pain.
"You seem mad."
I shake my head no.
"I'm not mad. I'm worried. It's almost time for you to be admitted to the hospital. I wish I could do something for you. I feel so useless."
Tiffany chuckled.
"You've done plenty for me. Besides, you get the hang of walking with the crutches. Soon, you'll be able to walk on your own, too."
I smiled.
"Tiff, can I say something? Please don't get offended, promise me."
Tiffany gave me a look.
"What?"
"Let's take a portrait of us together tomorrow. You look so beautiful pregnant that I couldn't help but admire you."
Tiffany suddenly laughed while holding her belly.
"That's it? Why would I be offended? You can even take my picture naked if you want."
Tiffany reached out her hand for me to grab.
"You know, I just wish I had the baby now. I can't even look down on my legs and I. And even count the number of times I went to the toilet."
Tiffany got up from the bed before letting her robe off her shoulder. What is she trying to do?
"Well, do I look beautiful being this bloated?"
I nodded before getting up using the crutches.
"Of course, darling. You look amazing."
I didn't expect her to start crying. Her mood swings are out of control, even in her last trimester.
"Really? Because every time I look in the mirror, I look like an elephant."
I was about to chuckle when I realized that wouldn't end well. Tiffany suddenly grabbed both my shoulders and asked,
"What should we name the baby?"
Huh? Well-
"Oh- we haven't thought about it, huh? If it's a boy, what do you think of Rafael?"
Tiffany thinks for a moment before nodding her head.
"Rafael is nice. So, if it's a girl, how about we name her Lalisa?"
Wait- that name-
"Did you just-"
Tiffany placed a finger on my mouth.
"Yes, I'm obsessed with that Korean pop group. What are you going to do to me?"
Damn- I didn't even say anything yet.
"Nothing. I'm sorry."
Tiffany suddenly smiled.
"You have no idea how much I love you, Lily."
Ah- here we go. I hugged Tiffany as she continued to whisper sweet words in my ear.
"I love you too. No words could describe how much you mean to me, Tiff."
I pulled away from the hug before kissing her on the lips.
"Wow-"
Tiffany seems sad all of a sudden.
"Did you have strawberry shortcake before coming here?"
How- how did she know?!
"Yes. Do you want one?"
Tiffany nodded.
"Suddenly, I'm in the mood for sweets. Tell the maids to bring some up, will you?"
I laughed before releasing my wife. I'm so glad this is my life now. Who would have thought my life improved in that one afternoon?! If I hadn't accepted that lunch date, we wouldn't have properly met each other. Also, thanks to my sister, who left the fundraiser brochure on her desk at the office too.
"Oh- and tell them to bring some ice cream!"
I chuckled. Yup, this is the kind of life that I wish to have.
