Civilian Dabi/Toya AU
A TV can be heard playing while a male cooks in a kitchen.
"This just in a local small crime Villain has been found tied up in front of a hero agency with a note that says 'If you can't do your job, I'll do it for you,' Could this be a vigilante in the making?" The news reporter says on the tv.
"Tch, idiots," The male says as he walks over to the living room, he changes the channel to a show and sits on the sleek leather couch. The male's hand pushes the male's H/l H/c hair. His e/c eyes are fixated on the show playing on the TV. The male is suddenly startled by the phone on the coffee table ringing.
"Ugh, who needs me now?" the male says before picking up the phone. He looks at the collar ID and sees it's just a number.
"Huh," The male says before clicking accept.
"Hello?" the male says.
"Hi sorry to disturb you but I was told this was the number of Ghost, they said he could help me," a male voice says.
"Yes, this is Ghost's phone, what can he do for you?" Ghost asks.
"My name is Toya, I need to know if Ghost handles exposing corrupt heroes like he captures Villains?" Toya says and Ghost's breath hitches.
"Yes, he does, what hero are we talking about?" Ghost asks.
"Endeavor" Toya says and Ghost smirks.
"That'll be easy, let's talk compensation," Ghost says.
"I have 746427.50 Yen awaiting him once it is done," Toya says.
"Deal, I will relay this information to Ghost" Ghost says.
"Thank you," Toya says.
"You're welcome, Toya. I've got you" Ghost says, right before he hangs up he hears Toya speak.
"Wait! Y/n?" Toya asks right before the line dies.
"It's good to hear you again brother," Ghost says. He then gets on his computer and digs up all the information he has on Endeavor and finds new things as well. Once it is compiled he zips it and sends it to a friend of his in the hero commission.
The next day Ghost wakes up to a couple of texts on his phone.
Toya -Hey I know it's you Y/n, where the hell have you been?-
Toya -That was fast! How in the hell did you get it to the commission?
Toya -Call me please-
Commission friend -It's done, check the news-
Ghost smiles and goes to the search app and looks up Endeavor's name. He clicks on the first article and starts to read.
~Well everyone, it's been revealed that the number two hero Endeavor is abusive to his wife and kids. He has driven two of his kids to run away and they haven't been seen since. A Commission employee tells us everything~
Ghost smiles and looks at Toya's texts.
Ghost- Meet me at *address* in ten and I'll explain everything...
Ghost then gets up and gets ready to see his brother for the first time since they were sixteen.
Ghost is walking down the street with his hood up, he is almost at the place he said he would meet Toya when he looks over and sees UA being attacked.
"Oh fuck" Ghost says as he runs to the school. He shoots out ice and runs up it to get over the fence and the police that block the street. He then runs to the chaos ignoring the yells from the officers and heroes doing crowd control. He runs using ice to propel him forward faster. Once he makes it next to the heroes and Villains, he shoots short bursts of ice and jumps on the going higher into the air.
"Hey villains, you want Ghost? Come get him!" Ghost says. Gaining the attention of the Villains. They all start to come after him. They congregate at the base of the ice tower he is standing on.
"Idiots," Ghost says before trapping them into an Ice prison. He then uses hot water to slowly melt the ice he is standing on to get down. As he is slowly going he spots the one person he needs to talk to. Once on the ground, he walks over to the person as everyone looks at him confused.
"Can I help you?" Aizawa asks.
"Yes, where is your class Aizawa?" Ghost asks.
"Who are you and what do you want with my class?" Aizawa asks.
"My name is Ghost and I need to make sure they are all okay, especially someone I know," Ghost says.
"Who do you know?" Aizawa asks.
"Shoto Todoroki," Ghost says.
"I'll bring them out, on one condition, you tell me who you are once you see Todoroki is fine," Aizawa says and Ghost nods. Aizawa walks away and Y/n sits on the bench that was nearby.
"Excuse me but, using your quirk without a hero license is against the law, we will need you to come with us." An officer says.
"I don't have time for this," Ghost says before pulling out his wallet and showing them a card.
"I apologize, Carry on," the officer says.
Ghost nods and looks at the building Aizawa went into just in time for the class to walk out.
"Here they are," Aizawa says. Ghost looks at Shoto and almost cries tears of happiness.
"Are you okay?" Mina asks and Ghost nods.
"Do you know him Shoto?" Midoriya can be heard asking.
"I don't think so," Shoto says.
"You do," Ghost says looking at the boy. Todoroki looks at him confused.
"I've got you, brother," Ghost says. Todoroki's eyes go wide and he runs and tackles Ghost. Ghost falls over his hood falling off.
"Oh my god... You are Ghost water!" Midoriya says and Ghost smiles slightly while sitting up and hugging a crying Shoto.
"That I am," Ghost says.
"Y/n Todoroki right?" Aizawa asks.
"That is correct," Y/n says and Aizawa nods.
"Y/n, where have you been?" Shoto asks.
"Hiding," Y/n says and Shoto nods.
"Now, I have someone I have to meet, can I take Sho with me? It's important he sees this person too" Y/n asks.
"Since you're a technical hero, I don't see the problem," Aizawa says, and Y/n nods.
"Want to go?" Y/n asks and Shoto nods. The two get up and walk out of UA. They arrive at the meeting place and Y/n takes his phone out.
Y/n -Sorry I had to help UA, I'm here" Y/n says. He looks around for a person looking at their phone and typing. He spots a male with black hair and walks over to him.
"Toya?" Y/n says and the male looks up and blinks at the two people in front of him.
"Oh my god it is you, and you have Sho," Toya says.
"TOYA!" Shoto yells hugging his other brother.
"Hi Sho," Toya says hugging his brother back.
"Since you brought someone I don't feel bad for bringing someone as well," Toya says and Y/n looks at the male confused. Toya points over to someone walking out of the bathrooms. Y/n's mouth drops open and tears fill his eyes.
"Keigo? I-" Y/n says and Toya smiles.
"Okay Toya, Im back- wholly shit," Hawks says.
"Y/n? Is that you? You're alive?" Hawks asks.
"As far as I know I'm alive, never died to my knowledge," Y/n says. Hawks then engulfs Y/n in a hug wrapping his wings around them.
"I missed you, so much" Hawks whispers into Y/n's ear sending a shiver down his back.
"I missed you too Kei," Y/n whispers back.
"Is everything okay?" Shoto asks.
"Yeah, they just missed each other, a lot," Toya says.
The two stand like that for a little longer until Hawks unwraps his wings and they sit down at the table Toya and now Shoto are sitting at.
"So, you guys okay?" Shoto asks. Y/n nods wiping away the tears he didn't realize were falling.
"Yeah, I am way better now," Y/n says smiling at Keigo.
A month has passed now and Y/n and Keigo are getting closer than they already were. You would think six years apart would damage their friendship but it didn't, if anything it made it stronger. Y/n is currently lying on Keigo's lap while they both scroll on social media, and Keigo plays with Y/n's hair.
"Hey, Kei" Y/n says, the other male puts his phone down and looks at his friend.
"Yes?" Keigo asks.
"Are you in a relationship?" Y/n asks and Keigo chuckles.
"Nope, I've been single since I was sixteen," Keigo says and Y/n's eyes go wide.
"Wait really? I told you to move on" Y/n says.
"I tried, couldn't do it. I love you too much" Keigo says.
"What if I was found dead after all these years then what?" Y/n asks.
"I would've stayed single. You are my soulmate Y/n, I don't think I could ever move on from you" Keigo says. Y/n smiles and sits up.
"Well, that's good," Y/n says before leaning in and kissing the man he loves. Keigo kisses back instantly. The two kiss passionately, as if making up for lost time.
"Hey Y/n, someone is at the door for you- Oop sorry," Shoto says walking in and then out of the room just as fast. Y/n pulls away and laughs.
"I'll go get the door, feel free to follow," Y/n says and Keigo nods following Y/n out of the room.
Y/n opens the door to see someone he doesn't want to see.
"oh great, what can I do for you Ex/n?" Y/n asks and the person ion front of Y/n smiles.
"I want you back, so let me in, and let's make up for lost time," Ex/n says.
"No," Y/n says.
"Excuse me? Why?" Ex/n asks.
"Because not only do I want nothing to do with you, I've moved on," Y/n says.
"As if, no one would want you," Ex/n says.
"Hey babe, who's here?" Keigo asks walking behind Y/n and wrapping his arms around his waist.
"There is no fucking way," Ex/n says.
"No way? For what?" Keigo asks.
"You pro hero, number three, can not be dating someone like Y/n," Ex/n says.
"I am, he's the love of my life, my soulmate," Keigo says snuggling his head into the side of Y/n's neck and kissing it.
"Kei, that tickles," Y/n says with a laugh.
"Ugh whatever," Ex/n says before walking away.
Y/n laughs and closes the door.
"Thank you, love," Y/n says and Keigo smiles.
"You're welcome baby bird," Keigo says.
The two kiss again for a short while and then they go to the kitchen and make something to eat.
"Before you ask, I dated him a year ago, thinking I wasn't ever going to see you again," Y/n says and Keigo nods.
"But it didn't work out?" KLeigo asks.
"No, I couldn't keep my mind off you, to be honest," Y/n explains and Keigo chuckles.
"We both knew we had to be with each other, and fate proves that," Keigo says and Y/n nods laughing.
"I love you baby bird so much," Keigo says.
"I love you too Kei, so much I can't explain it," Y/n says. The food finishes cooking and Keigo walks over to Y/n and kisses him.
"Let's follow this adventure of life together," Keigo says and Y/n nods.
"Let's do it," Y/n says kissing Keigo one last time before Getting food for both of them.
