Then, Tweek started questioning Clyde.
"What happened?! Are you okay?! Who hurt you?! Was it a person or animal?!"
Clyde just looked down and stayed silent.
"I'm fine."
Clyde didn't eat anything.
Then, the 5th period bell rang.
And everybody went off to their class.

Clyde couldn't pay attention at all during the lecture.
He still was thinking about what Tolkien had told him..
"I want you at my place at 5 tonight."
It scared him.
Then, he was snapped out of thought.
"Mr. Donovan? Do you know the answer to number 7?"
Clyde blinked several times.
"Uh..Is it 2.67..?"
Mrs. Fallon raised an eyebrow.
"Incorrect. Mr. Donovan, you need to pay more attention."
A few people laughed but quickly shut up because of the glare Mrs. Fallon gave.
A few more minutes later the 6th period bell rang.
Clyde was the last to leave the classroom.
A bunch of people crowded the hallway, making Clyde very squished and cramped.
Finally, he got to his science class. But he was a bit shaken up.
He immediately noticed Nichole, she signalled him to sit next to her.
The teacher told everybody that it was a free day and that they could do whatever they wished, as long as it was legal.
"This teacher is lazy."
Nichole blew a bubble and quickly popped it.
Clyde turned to her.
"Why do you think that?"
Nichole just closed her eyes.
"Because she just wants to sleep."
Nichole opened her eyes and looked at the sleeping teacher.
Clyde shrugged.
"But we get an A for just showing up."
Nichole nodded.
"That is true, I guess I shouldn't be complaining."
Nicole blew and popped another bubble before getting on her phone.
Clyde looked down before grabbing his phone.
He noticed a text that he had gotten from Tolkien.

Tolkien: Are you okay?
Clyde: Yeah, I am.
Tolkien: Are you able to come over?
Clyde: I don't know yet.
Tolkien: Well, if you aren't, I'll walk you.
Clyde: You don't have to!
Tolkien: I insist.
Clyde: Are you sure..?
Tolkien: Positive.
Clyde: Okay..See you 7th period.
Tolkien: Okay. Bye.

Even the way he typed was so formal.
Clyde didn't understand how Tolkien was so kind to him.
He didn't know if it was because he was hurt, if it because he was his friend, or if..
If Tolkien liked him..More than a friend..
But there was no way that was possible!
