"How about Roximo?" She texted. I was reading mom's diary about her working for Erik and how she loved going places with him more than the sex they had. "Rob never traveled. "No. Not really. He understands and I never cheated on him, but when I first started dating after you were born, I felt like I was."
"Mom, is he the best you ever had."
"Yes. I truly loved him. I truly still do. It is my sincere hope that you find it as well."
"I don't think I will."
"I think it's Scott."
"I am seeing Charisse tomorrow."
"She is a bit worldly. I do think you can learn from her, but as a friend."
"Why do you say that?"
"I just see you with Scott, Nothing personal but that is who you end up with."
"I am nervous. She is so forward and intense.
"To be honest, she has come onto me a few times. It's my short hair. Yes. You remind me so much of your dad in your gentleness. EVERYONE who has met you has said it. Lily Rose has. I just worry that some people will date you because you are Johnny's. Scott loves you for you."

I text Lily about her. She said, "Yeah, your mom might be upset. I can see that. Go, Have fun. It's a dinner."
I wear a simple black dress, my knock off Baccarat Rouge. I put my hair up. "God, I look like Johnny would if he were a girl." I put on my gold hoop earrings my mom got me when I was twenty five. 2019. Three years later, here I am single. All my friends are having babies.

I can see the future in his eyes." I didn't see the future but I knew Charisse was well connected.
She picks me up in her Porsche. "Baccarat Rouge 540?" She said.
"Yes. It's a knockoff."

We walked into Roximo. It was a nice restaurant. Lauren and Scott went there a lot, but Scott was working. Scott did tell me, "have fun with the carpetmuncber, at least she is rich." We order. I got a big steak, potato, and salad. "You are a hearty eater," she said. She laughed. "So, tell me about you."
"Well, my mom went out to California. I was living there with my dad at the time, and I came home with her."

"Your mom is really intriguing. I go to her three or four times a year."
"Wow!"
"You really look like your dad."

I eat my steak. After we eat we walk around downtown a bit. We then go back to her place and she gets me a glass of wine. She kisses me, this time it's with tongue and she is very soft and passionate.

I kissed her and went in the house. Our relationship was going to be most interesting.
