You see that same man again except this time he's facing you directly, a hand obscuring his face as you look at him helplessly frozen in fear you see a purple smog start to build up behind him. It start moving towards you getting closer and closer as your unable to move paralyzed with fear until eventually the smoke fully envelopes you. Unable to make out your surroundings because of the thickness of the smoke, you sit there breathing heavily, until a pale hand extends from the smoke reaching for your face and as soon as it makes contact you...
Wake up yet again in a cold sweat as your ears are assaulted by the blaring noise of your alarm clock. You slam your hand down on your alarm clock and roll out of bed putting in your noise dampeners as you head towards the kitchen where you see Echo's already awake and eating breakfast.
Echo:"Who opened up your coffin"
She says mockingly
Echo:"there's some pancakes on the counter, eat as many as you want"
You grab a plate and place a few pancakes on it.

Eventually you and Echo arrive at school just to be gifted with the sight of a cluster of reporters trying to question the students as they walk in. You try to sneak past them and get in without having to be questioned but get stopped by one of them as he berates you with questions more of them collapse on you shouting over each other hurting your ears causing you to start to panic unsure of what to do you start hyper ventilating until Echo walks in.
Echo:"he's mute now leave him alone"
She says a tad to aggressively as she brushes away the camera men and reporters and walks you into the school as one of the reporters tries to follow you in asking why Echo can't just talk for you. Just for a giant metal wall to raise up from the ground as a part of the security system.

You walk into class and sit down still feeling as if you could fall asleep at any moment. You feel someone tap on your shoulder and look behind you to see Kirishima.
Kirishima:"are you okay man, I mean I'm not trying to be rude or anything but you look like death."
you give him a half hearted thumbs up and smile and turn back around slumping your head onto your desk as you sit and listen to everyone else talking all at once almost falling asleep until Mr.Aizawa walks in causing the room to go quiet and for everyone to sit straight up in their seat.
Aizawa:"Well class today I have an important task for you"
He says with his usual tired voice
Kirishima:"is it another test"
Aizawa: "no it's not" he says pulling up his sleeping bag "today you'll be deciding a class representative"
At the sound of this the entire class explodes with people putting their hands up and yelling about why they should be the class rep. You cover your ears from the pain of everyone yelling when you hear a voice rise above the rest of the crowd.
Iida:"Everyone quiet!"
He shouts
Iida:"It is the class representative to control the classroom and make decisions for them so therefore we should choose the class rep via an election!"
Kamanari: "you sure that's a good idea I mean wouldn't most of us just vote for ourselves?"
Iida:"that would just make whoever wins even more worthy of the role"
The class looks to Aizawa to make the final decision
Aizawa: "do whatever you want just get it over with by the time I wake up"
You all wrote out votes on paper and then tallied the scores. Ending with Midoriya as the class rep and Momo as the vice representative. Midoriya stood in front of the class his body and voice shaking as he spoke.
Midoriya:"I uh t-thank you f-for voting for m-me"
With the class rep decided you head out to lunch where you sit with the same group as yesterday.
Kirishima:"so who'd you guys vote for?"
All (except you obviously): "Midoriya"
Kirishima:"yep same here, what about you (y/n)"
You grab a napkin and pencil and write out Midoriya's name on it.
Kamanari:"I mean know that I saw how he acted up in front of everyone I'm not sure it was the best decision"
Mina:"he's just got some nerves he'll warm up to it eventually"
Kamanari goes to say something but is cut off when a loud alarm starts playing. You cover your ears and wince in pain from the ringing of the alarm as students run past you screaming.
Kamanari: "what the hell's going on"
He says looking around. Eventually Jiro's able to stop one of the older students.
Jiro:"what's going on"
Older student:"that alarm means someone got into the school!"
A feeling of dread and fear sweeps across the table as the students words hit everyone but you who was unable to hear them. All of you quickly rush up front the table and start running getting lost and pushed around in the crowd. Eventually the five of you get separated leaving you by yourself as you get pushed around by the crowd "what happening!" a hundred thoughts run through you head at once "quit shoving!" You hear everyone screaming all at once "get me out of here!" Your heart beats like a drum "everybody calm down!" Your breathe becomes sporadic and heavy "what the hell is going on!?" You try to push through and find someone you know but you can't and your pushed to the floor as your noise dampeners fall out of your ears causing every noise to hit you at 100x times the volume all at the same time you reach out to grab your noise dampeners as a foot stomps down crushing them. You grab your ears trying to quell the noise but it doesn't help, everyone's screams and the ringing of the alarm, they echo throught your head and your breathes become shallow and sporadic as your heart slams against your chest with each beat you try to make it stop but you can't. You feel as if the walls are closing in on you and as if you lungs are shrinking and that your ears are about to burst and that your heart is about to rupture your face flushes red as tears stream down you cheeks until you hear a sweet and soft voice and feel a hand on your shoulder as you look up to see Jiro smiling a at you.
Jiro:"it's okay everythings going to be alright"
She says in a soft voice causing you to calm down as your breathe starts to stabilize and your heart starts to slow. Jiro leans in and hugs you as the world around you disappears all the noise and anxiety and confusion dissipates leaving nothing but you and her and for a second everything is alright. Once you've fully calmed down Jiro pulls away and hands you a pair of headphones.
Jiro:"so you at least have something to help"
She says smiling causing you to blush as you grab the headphones from her and put them on when all of a sudden you hear someone yelling and look up to see Iida on the wall hanging onto a metal bar in the same pose as the guy on the exit sign you can't make out what he's saying because of the headphones but whatever it is he said it seems to have calmed the crowd down.

Evryone looks at you and Jiro as you walk into the classroom still wearing the headphones she gave you. You head to your seats and sit down as Midoriya starts to talk.
Midoriya:"n-now I really appreciate all of you voting for me b-but I-I want to give the role of class rep to someone more fitting s-so I want to welcome Iida as our new class rep"
Iida:"what but why?"
Kamanari:"if I had to guess its because your the one who stopped that giant panic parade at lunch"
Iida walks up to the desk as Midoriya goes to sit in his seat.
Iida:"as your new class representative I will do my best to lead to class, and make sure that we all succeed!"
He says this speech a little to loudly causing you wince a little.
*(timeskip)*
You start to pack your stuff up and head out the classroom but get stopped by Jiro tapping you on the shoulder
Jiro:"hey me, Mina, Kirishima, and Kamanari are gonna hang out later do you wanna come?"
You nod your head yes
Jiro:"great here ill text you the time and place"
She pulls out her phone and types something out a few seconds later you hear a small beep form your pocket.
Jiro:"well then ill see you there!"
You feel a little pain in your ears from her yelling but ignore it and wave goodbye eventually heading out and meeting with Echo by the gate.
Echo:"Hey (y/n)!)
She yells causing you to grab your ear in pain. She looks at you confused as to why your wearing headphones and why you reacted that way to what she said.
Echo:"you okay kid"
She says looking at you confused and concerned which you reply to by nodding yes
Echo: "what's with the headphones"
You pull out your phone and send her a text summarizing everything that happened leaving out the part where you and Jiro hugged.
Echo: "so I was right you do have a crush on her!"
She says accidentally raising her voice in excitement causing you to flinch
Echo:"oops sorry"
The two of you walk home together like normal.
