Artemis' P.O.V:
Oh dear, Everything is out of control. First going to Bakugan Valley and discovering what's happening in Vestroia, Billy and brother Cycloid, Along Komba and his partner, My sister Harpus, are working for Masquerade, and battle Shun and Julie.
Chan Lee along brother Fortress battle Dan. Klaus and sister Sirenoid battle Marucho and took Preyas. And then Julio and sister Tentaclear battled Runo, and Dan.
Yet there was nothing I could do to stop all this, I couldn't even get their doom cards to get their Bakugan back. I'm nothing but a failure.
I stayed in my room, crying in my bed. I still hear the angered yelling Dan gave me when we came back on the plane and flying away from Germany.
~Flashback~
"Why the heck didn't you help, huh!?!" Dan yelled at me in frustration, gripping my right arm tight, Too tight that it was hurting me!
"Dan! Stop it! You're hurting her!" Shun scold, pushing him away, having him let go of me. I lightly touch my stinging arm to try and heal it.
"No! She has done nothing against those creeps, and we lost Preyas because she's been completely useless!!" Dan shouted in anger. And those words crushed my spirit, and my heart.
I look away, biting my lip to try and keep my tears at bay and feel my arms shake with sorrow of all my brothers and sisters that we lost to the Doom Dimension.
"Well!? What do you have to say for yourself, huh!?" Dan yelled, glaring at me. "Daniel, You're going too far! Do you not see she understands how we all feel!? Putting the blame of her is not the answer!" Drago defend me, glaring at Dan.
But he didn't listen, growing impatient, "Answer me!!" He yelled louder at me till I couldn't take it anymore! I flashed my powers of Haos at him, blinding him! He yelled in pain from the blinding attack as I ran away crying.
"Artemis, Wait!" Runo called, But I was already in my room, locking myself in.
~End of flashback~
"Come on, Riri. Don't be so sad. None of this was ever your fault." Leonidas tries to cheer me up, sitting on the pillow my face was on.
"He's right. Dan can't blame you for something you didn't do. That hothead doesn't realize Masquerade is just getting in their heads and make their negativity rise till there's no hope or positivity left." Reaper tries, knowing Masquerade better than anyone.
Though I appreciate what they're trying to do to lift my spirits back up, Dan is right about everything, I'm completely useless!
"I know you're trying, guys. But... I just can't. I need to get all these emotions out, I can't keep them so bottled up." I say, getting up from bed to leave this place.
The Brawlers won't need me anymore anyway. My Bakugan quickly come with me as I use my power to teleport us away from here.

Third person's P.O.V:
"Seriously Dan! Why were you being too harsh on Artemis!?!" Runo yelled, scolding Dan. "What? She was totally useless to stop them, you know!" Dan argued, making Runo, Julie, Marucho, and Shun more angry.
"Guys, stop! Don't you realize what you're doing? This is probably what Masquerade wants, To pull on your strings till there's no hope left." Alice tries to reason, making a good point.
"She's right, Daniel. And do you not see that Artemis is suffering our losses as well?! She may not survive anymore if this continues rapidly!!" Drago growled in frustration.
Which made Dan snap at his partner, "And what is that suppose to mean?!" "All the Bakugan they are sending were good Bakugan, no matter if they were effected by the minus power or not! Artemis is connected to them! If too many more are sent to the Doom dimension, suffering and dying, Then so will she!" Drago snapped back, revealing a heartbreaking truth.
This snapped the brawlers into a shock of disbelief and heartbreak of such news.
"A-a-Artemis?..." Julie stuttered, beginning to tear up. "Suffering... And dying..?" Dan finished, finally realizing his big mistake and how he hurt her.
"No! You can't be serious! She's a human being, She can't really die like that!" Shun tries to deny it.
"I'm afraid it's the truth, Shun. We didn't know at the time this would effect poor Artemis, Till we saw the signs Leonidas has told us while she was trapped in the Doom dimension, feeling all the Bakugan who were sent there's suffering." Gorem says, saddened.
"No... No, There has to be another way!!" Shun yells in disbelief, running to Artemis' room to try and help her feel better.
"And Dan, The way you talked that way to Artemis is unacceptable. You're treating her like she was a tool, When in fact she's a living human being on the same mission as we are! To find the Infinity Core, and save our worlds!" Tigrerra scolded angerly at Dan on Runo's shoulder.
Dan's eyes widened in realization of his other biggest mistake, Lowering his head in regret and shame.
Then Shun ran back in the main room in distress, "Guys!" He called fearfully. "Whoa, What's wrong, Shun? I thought you were going to see Artemis?" Julie thought.
"That's just it! Artemis is gone! I searched everywhere and can't find her! Nor her Bakugan!" He explained, in great concern.
"What!?" The gang question in shock.

At Masquerade's mansion.
Klaus was sitting by himself in the dining room, looking out the window in thought.
"Klaus, Is something the matter?" Sirenoid asked, popping up on her partner's shoulder. "I'm okay, Sirenoid. I've... Just been thinking." Klaus says, seeing a monarch butterfly fly away outside.
"What about?" She asked, curious on what's on his mind. "About your sister, Artemis. She seems so... familiar to me. How did you and all the Bakugan find her?" He asked, peaking an eye to his beloved partner.
"It was ten years ago, I still remember it like it was yesterday. Drago was the first who found a little girl, crying in grief after just losing her mother and ended up in our world. We never knew much about humans, But we took her in as one of our own. And little Artemis has adapted so well and was happy." Sirenoid tells the story.
"She was like the precious little sister we never had, and was always there for us. She had grown into a dependent woman and worked hard to protect us, never to lose anymore precious loved ones like her mother." She finished.
Klaus was surprised, yet saddened about what happened in the young witch's life, losing family. Then he thought if he was really doing the right thing, Remembering all the Bakugan he battled and watched, sent to the Doom Dimension in suffering and fear. Feeling an aching emptiness in his chest.
Then Sirenoid suddenly gasped, in distress and concern, "Oh no!" She cried, looking out the window. "What is it, Sirenoid?" Klaus asked, startled yet concerned on what got his partner's attention.
"Artemis. I can feel her lifeforce beginning to wilt! She's in pain by her connection of the Bakugan, suffering in the Doom dimension!" She cried, hearing great concern and regret in her voice.
"What?!" Klaus gasped in disbelief, Now very concerned for the said girl. "Then we better find her. Can you guide me, Sirenoid?" He asked, determined for some reason.
"I'll try. But she's letting out quite a storm. So be careful." Sirenoid advices, Leaving her partner confused yet knowing Artemis has powers, He'll learn to be cautious.
But he didn't realize as he left, Chan Lee and the others heard everything, Now wondering if they are doing the right thing as well, and a little concerned for the young witch.

And believe it or not, Sirenoid was right. Artemis was screaming and yelling at the top of her lungs, letting out all her frustration, her sadness, all the emotions bottled inside her out, creating a thundering rainstorm, and then a blizzard through her powers.
In the canyon mountains in Texas, away from civilization.
While all her Bakugan had to stuff themselves safe inside her strapped belt bag, not to get too cold or blown away.
Till she finally stopped, as the blizzard stopped, leaving nothing but snow. As she collapsed on her knees, her exposed face, spilling more tears from her eyes. Feeling so useless and empty.
Her Bakugan get out of her bag and look at her, saddened by their partner and sister's suffering.
Till a subterra Bakugan with snakes for hair, a lower snake body with two snakes on her sides, and a Greek woman's dress, hovers next to her partner, "Artemis, We've got company." She whispered.
That got the young witch's attention, and quickly puts her mask on, as she hears footsteps against the snow coming towards her.
Until she quickly whipped her arm out, incasing it with ice as an arm sword towards the approaching person against the side of their neck. revealing to be Klaus, wearing a winter coat and gloves, quickly raising his hands in surrender.
"Whoa! Easy, my dear! It's okay. I'm not here to hurt you." He quickly says, trying to insure he's telling the truth.
But Artemis was skeptical about that, "What do you want?" She demanded lightly, yet commandingly.
Klaus lightly held the ice blade against his neck and slowly moved it away while he spoke, "I just want to get to know you. Sirenoid told me what's happening to you, and... I was worried. I don't know why though."
Artemis seemed a little surprised he seemed to care, and for her aquas sister to tell him about her. "You don't know? Then why have you come to see me?" She questioned.
"Well... It's just... You just look awfully familiar to me. Like someone who I knew was precious to me. But, I can't remember who. Please, Can you help me? Am I... really doing the right thing siding with Masquerade?" He asks, lightly begging for answers and help.
This surprised the Bakugan Witch even more, having the ice blade melt from her arm.
"Huh. This is a big twist." Leonidas mumbled on his partner shoulder. "I agree with you, Leonidas." She nodded lightly, then look back to Klaus.

Klaus and Artemis were now facing each other, each on their own side of a mountain. "Ready, my dear?" He asked kindly, bring out his card.
"Yes. It's time for you to understand. Field." Artemis says, bring out hers.
"Open!" They says together, flipping their cards, opening the battle field, as time slows to a stop with the grass and flowers that're being blown by the wind, freezing along with time.
Till the two challengers were in the battle field.
"Gate Card, Set!" They says, throwing down their gate cards, as Klaus' glows blue and grows bigger, While Artemis' does the same next to his, But instead, glows green.
"It's time for the winds of change, Klaus. Cause you breathed in the wrong ones when you first met Masquerade! Bakugan brawl!" Artemis says, throwing down her Bakugan on Klaus' gate card.
"Ravenoid, Stand!" She called, as her Ravenoid pops open and is summoned, free in his true form, flying in the air. While the Bakupod system shows his G power of 390.
"Interesting. Somehow I had a feeling you would choose Ventus, I have heard you have many different attributes, yet two of each. Though I wonder why, is the case." Klaus smiled, holding out his aquas Stinglash.
Then he threw it in, summoning the creature, with it's G power of 360 on the Bakupod system.
For some reason, in Artemis' point of view, Klaus hasn't set his doom card in the field, and he seems to be going easy on her.
And her Ravenoid and Klaus' Stinglash were wrestling, Klaus activated his ability card, but she countered with Ravenoid's, and defeated Stinglash. But then Stinglash' tip of it's claw got nipped off by the powerful winds and was heading straight at her!
"Watch out!" Klaus shouted, seeing the piece coming in too late, Till it hit her mask. She yelped in pain as a piece of her mask was snapped off, only the left eye piece came off, revealing her wisteria purple eye.
"Artemis! Are you alright?!" Leonidas asked, looking at his partner in concern. "Y-yeah. I'm fine. It just gave me a little head ache. But I'm fine now, Leo." She assures him and everyone, waving the pain off.
Klaus tries to see better and sees the girl's left eye, He gasped in surprise, "Those eyes. I recognize them. But... where?" He asks himself quietly in thought.
"Klaus! It's your turn now!" Artemis called playfully, feeling positive. Snapping Klaus out of his thoughts, and look at the girl a little confused on why she feels happy.
"Right. Gate card, set!" He throws a gate card above Artemis', Then sent of his Griffon, With it's G power of 390 on the Bakupod system on her gate card.
Artemis sent out Ravenoid again, and was about to activate her gate card. But then Klaus countered with his ability card and beat Ravenoid.
But then the Subterra gorgon Bakugan came in, next to Artemis, "Riri, Sent me in. I'm ready." She says, determined.
Artemis looked at her unsure, But seeing the determined and positive enthusiasm in her eyes, She nodded, accepting her request. and set a subterra gate card this time.

"We'll be right back with more Bakugan Battle Brawlers." Klaus says, lightly chuckling.

"And now we have returned. Come on, You guys! It's showtime!" Artemis smiled with a happy chuckle.

"So, Who will you send next, Artemis? Pyrus? Haos? Or Ventus again?" Klaus asks, starting to feel a little better, a little more... positive.
"Nope. Subterra. And she may be the last of her species, But she's rearing to go! Bakugan brawl!" Artemis threw in the mysterious Bakugan on Klaus' gate card.
"Medusa, Stand!" She calls, as the said Bakugan pops open and is summoned.
"D-d-d... Did she say MEDUSA!?!" Klaus shuttered in shock and slight panic, While the said gorgon rises from the summoning orange light.
She is revealed to have a mask like Artemis', but brown and with skinny golden ivy marks on the cheeks and forehead, her brown yet golden patterned snake hair long and loose ending at her hips, Her eyes a reptilian snake green. Her upper body is human with bits of brown snake scales on her upper arms and hands and her shoulders and her actual skin is yellow, while her lower half is a long body of a brown snake with golden patterns with one snake on each side of her hips, and a rattle with a blade at the end of it.
She wears a white Greek warrior dress that ends at where her knees might be, if they count for gorgons, and a leather shoulder pad on her right shoulder, and leather arm bands with bandages. And golden tiny chain belts around her hips with tiny bronze plats hooked on. And a bronze chest armor. Also holds a long bow.
The Bakupod system shows her G power of 420.
"Whoa..." Klaus shuttered again, seeing the warrior like gorgon in front of him. "Hello Klaus. A pleasure to meet you, and to do battle once again." Medusa greeted.
"Um.. O-of course, Medusa." He nodded nervously, seeing Medusa's giant looming figure scares him hearing the stories of any who look at her cursed look's gaze, turn to stone.
"Oh, Relax, Klaus. She may be named and look after the cursed gorgon from stories here on Earth, But this one is different and is in full control of her power to petrify. Medusa is an honorable and caring warrior, She's never harmed humans and Bakugan. She'll only give a petrifying type of 'Time out' to her opponents or anyone who's been acting like big jerks." Artemis assures him.
"O-oh, I see. Well, Let's see what she can do, Shall we? Bakugan brawl!" Klaus threw in Griffon again, Now ready to battle Artemis' Gorgon friend.
Klaus activated Griffon's ability card, and was about to strike at Medusa until she swiftly dodged, "Whoa! She's fast!" He says surprised by the quick movements.
"That's not all! Ability, activate! Snake fang shot!" Artemis says, as Medusa uses her bow, materializing an orange glow arrow with a snake's head as the arrow's tip with it's fang bared sharply out.
She released the arrow, launching it at Griffon as it hit it's shoulder, with the snake's head biting it. Till the arrow disappeared into speck of orange light, leaving Griffon unable to move.
"What's happening? Griffon, what's wrong?" Klaus asked, confused yet a little concerned for his Bakugan.
"Don't worry. Snake fang shot is Medusa's ability to paralyze her opponent only for 2 turns and nullifies and blocks the effects of your ability and gate cards. Griffon will be alright." Artemis explains, while Klaus' ability card he used for Griffon dimly glowed orange.
"Incredible! I've never seen a Bakugan do this before." Klaus gasped, a little upset she took advantage yet is also in awe of her Bakugan, As Medusa swiftly defeated Griffon by whipping her lower snake body at him.
Klaus was just in awe, while Artemis caught Medusa. The two brawlers look at each other, till they couldn't help but joyfully laugh.
"Oh man. This is really fun!" He chuckled, calming his laughter along Artemis'. "Yes. It feels like a lifetime ago since I had this much fun." She giggled, smiling happily behind her mask.
"Mind if I join in?" Sirenoid asks, getting her partner's attention. "Of course, I don't mind, Sirenoid." He smiled, accepting her request.
"Ready for one more, Medusa?" Artemis smiled, asking her Subterra gorgon friend, "Wouldn't miss it for the world." She chuckled.
The two brawlers smiled at each other, Ready to go. "Bakugan, Brawl!" They said together, throwing in their Bakugan. As Sirenoid and Medusa appear on Klaus' gate card.
"Ready or not, Sirenoid, Here I come!" Medusa smiled playfully, ready to jump. "Oh, I don't think so. Ability activate, Deep sea dive!" Klaus countered.
"Try and catch me, Medusa!" Sirenoid smiled, taking a dive in the surface around her that has become water. "Oh, You're on!" The Subterra gorgon giggled, diving after her.
Which surprised Klaus, dumbfounded and shocked "Wha-? How did-?" He stuttered. "Klaus, She's half snake. She can swim and dive in sand and the sea, No problem. Remember?" Artemis chuckled, gesturing her arm as the flowing ocean waves, then tap her head.
"Come on! Let's go join them." She smiled, nudging her head to the water surface, Then run over to it and jump in
"Wait, What!? Are you nuts!?" Klaus gaped, seeing the girl dive into the water.
"Gee, That girl is full of adventurous spirit, isn't she?" He sighed to himself, yet smiled at the girl's said spirits, Then go to join her, and the Bakugan.
Yet he couldn't help but feel he knows her or someone that she reminds him of, But can't seem to remember who.
In the water reveals they are actually underwater, though they can actually breath under it. Klaus and Artemis swim down, looking for their partners, Till something wisped passed them and the water pressure from such speed made them spin, surprising them till they stopped.
Then see Medusa swimming after Sirenoid playfully, as they laugh, somehow having fun. "Klaus!" Sirenoid calls, swimming over to him as he grabs on as she continues onwards.
"Artemis!" Medusa calls having her grab onto her too as they chase after Sirenoid.
"We're gonna get'cha!" Artemis called, chuckling. "Oh no, you won't!" Klaus smiled, peaking behind.
"Oh yes, We will!" Artemis smiled, as the Subterra gorgon keeps swimming after the aquas mermaid, almost about to tag her till she dodge and kept swimming.
They kept at it, while laughing joyfully, having a lot of fun!

After a while, The field closed, having time go back to normal.
Then both Klaus and Artemis fall back first on the snow, laughing in joy. "Oh my goodness, That was the most fun I've ever had in my life." Klaus smiled, feeling happy, and free.
"I know. All that reminds us of fun times, doesn't it? All the joy, the fun games, the love family and friends share. It's make our lives feel more free, and experience many good things, time and time again." Artemis nodded.
Klaus looked at her in awe of such positive wisdom, Then Sirenoid popped up with Medusa on the snow. "I most certainly agree, dear sister. Even back on Vestroia we share those many good times." The aquas mermaid nodded in agreement with her human sister.
"Yes. Such wonderful times." Medusa agrees with her. Then Leonidas popped in, "That is true, Girls. However, Masquerade doesn't seem to agree what with his greed and pride for power. His influence has messed everyone's positive purposes of why they Bakugan battle in the first place." He says, making a good point.
Which Klaus gasped in realization, and rise from the snowy ground, "He's right. Back then when I first met Sirenoid, she inspired me, and I wished to see what other many Bakugan could do. But after winning battles, and being on the top 10 made me realize I was blinded by my own pride and ego. And yet, I also took Preyas, your brother, away from Marucho." He says, now feeling a great guilt in his heart.
Then he peaked over to look at the Bakugan Witch, "I am so sorry, Artemis. And thank you, for setting me free." He apologized yet thanked.
"It wasn't me alone." She says, rising off the snowy ground, "It was also you. We didn't inspire you alone. You've also inspired yourself of what's truly in your heart, Your wonder for the life around us, and the Bakugan." She says, while tapping on where his heart is.
"You... You're right. I guess, I never thought of it like that. Now I have to give back what I took from Marucho that makes his life more free and happy. Thank you, Artemis." Klaus says, now feeling up to make amends.
Then the wind blew as Artemis now flies in the air, with her expose eye along her mask's glow green with her ventus powers, with Medusa and Leonidas on her shoulders.
"And thank you as well, Klaus, Sister Sirenoid. For helping me realize I need to never lose what makes me who I am. Now I must go and continue my mission. Until we meet again!" She says, bidding farewell as she flies off.
Klaus and Sirenoid watch her fly off, happy they were of help, And happy she made them realize their true and positive goal.
Klaus was about to turn around to return home until something shining in the snow where Artemis once was got his attention.
He was curious, and kneeled down, picking up what looks to be a pendant, A phoenix with it's wings closed, hiding what's behind them.
"Oh! It's Artemis' pendant. Oh dear, She must've dropped it while all the excitement happened. It's very precious to her." Sirenoid says, looking at the pendant sadly.
Till Klaus had the pendant open it's wings to reveal a picture, He gasped in shock recognizing the three in the picture.
A woman with long pale blond hair with blue at the end of her bangs, her eyes purple along her daughter's, Who's a little girl with silver white hair that fades to light blue, smiling happily.
And a little boy with pale blonde hair with a red strand, and his eyes are ruby red, hugging his sister with a happy smile.
"Klaus, What's wrong?!" Sirenoid asks, worried about why Klaus seems so suddenly shocked and sad. "These three are... That little girl is.... That boy is... That woman is..." He mutters, feeling tears begin to spill from his eyes.
"Aunt Olivia. Marduk... And..." He mumbles, now looking at the little girl in the pendant,
"Amari."

Alice: Coming up on the Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
The sky's the limit, But our gang is heading in for a crash landing! Frustration mounts as everyone is getting on each other's nerves. Yet also worried if we'll be alright without Artemis.
Especially Shun, Who's left after a heated battle of words with Dan, saying he couldn't be friends any longer and being without Artemis.
Meanwhile, Komba, Who lost to Shun, now a rival, has a score to settle.
Will Shun count on his friends and find Artemis, Or is he about to go from hero to zero?
Oh Shun, Don't you know there's safety in numbers?
