I am currently 18 weeks pregnant. me and Colby haven't felt our baby move yet. i have a bump though. Me and Colby live in an apartment alone and we aren't married but we are expecting our first baby.
One day i was laying on the couch rubbing my bump while Colby was in the shower. He came out after a few minutes and he came walking in the living room wearing just his boxers. He smiled at me.
Colby: "Do you need anything baby?" He asked as he was walking into our kitchen.
"No i'm good hun."
I had moved to sit up better when i felt something. It was in my belly.
The baby kicked!
For a second i thought i was imagining it so i moved again and then i felt it again.
"Colby! Colby! Come quick!" I yelled to him.
Colby came running in the living room.
Colby: "Are you ok? Did something happen? Is the baby ok?"
"Come sit down."
Colby sat down next to me and i put his hand on the belly. I moved a bit and then right where i put Colby's hand, the baby kicked. Colby's face filled with excitement and joy when he felt our baby kick for the first time.
Colby: "Was that the baby?" He asked excited.
"It was!"
Colby had a huge smile and his blue eyes shone in the sunlight coming through the curtains. He kept his hand where i put it and the baby had kicked a few more times. Then the baby moved a little and Colby felt it and he was so happy and excited.
Colby: "Wow. this...this is amazing!"
Colby was in complete awe by this. He didn't want to move his hand because he liked feeling the baby kick and move. After a few minutes he leaned down and kissed my belly while running his thumb gently over it too.
The rest of the day Colby would barely leave my side or remove his hand because he wanted to feel the baby.
