The doorbell rang early the following morning at the Mikaelson mansion. Being the closest to the door, Rebekah simply opened it and allowed them in, not feeling like striking up a conversation with the doppelgänger and her stupid friends.

Despite not understanding the necessity of the Scooby-Doo Gang's presence, the Mikaelson family complied since they were eager to see more of their niece or daughter's lives.

They moved over to the couches and took their places in silence, just like they had yesterday, till Lily showed up, who arrived barely five minutes later.

"Elijah." Lily said, making the original look at her. "I didn't tell you yesterday because you looked happy to hear you have a daughter, but I'm not gonna lie to you or anyone else in this room. You're not gonna like what you're gonna see at all. It wasn't at all enjoyable to watch and it's just pure horrible."

Uncomfortably, Elijah shifted, fearing for his daughter. "How bad could it be?"

"Bad." Lily said, pissed, as she recalled how they treated her son and her goddaughter. Knowing what was about to happen, the Potter gave Elijah one last melancholy smile as the screen sprang to life. She continued to feel the same level of rage that she felt when she first saw it and which continued for years.

The others in the room could clearly see how upset she was something.

Elijah feeling nervous about how bad it could actually be?

"Up. Get up!" The slamming on the stair door grew louder and louder. "Now." As Nora turns on the light in the cupboard while Harry takes their glasses, puts on his own and hands Nora's hers.

"Wake up cousins, we're going to the zoo!" Dudley yelled happily while stomping on the stairs, making dust fall on them. Hearing him this loud and excited in the morning made Harry and Nora both sigh.

When Nora tries to open the door, rubbing her eyes hoping to get less tired but she got pushed back by Dudley and ended up half on Harry.

"Are you okay?" He asked her quickly. She nodded, pushing the hair out of her face revealing the lighting scar.

"Come on, before Aunt Petunia gets mad we're not making her tea." She jokes before opening the door once again, this time not flying back.

"Here he comes, the birthday boy."

"Happy birthday, son." Nora heard her aunt and uncle say when she walked in the kitchen.

"Why don't you two just cook breakfast, and try not to burn anything." Petunia ordered the two children.

"Yes, Aunt Petunia." They replied together. They did as they were expected from, as usual.

Nobody spoke a for a while as Lily paused the screen observing the same reactions she and her friends had experienced years ago.

"They're dead." Kol spoke seeing how they treated his niece.

"They let them sleep in a cupboard?" Jeremy asked incredulously. "How could you ever do that to two innocent children?" These are not people.

"I will torture them." Kol declared.

Rebekah broke down in tears upon witnessing her niece's treatment. So could also be said from the other girls in the group.

"That's monstrous." Stated Caroline.

When Stefan and Damon realized what they did, they were not pleased. Not at all content. Despite their hatred for the Mikaelson family, they believed that no one, especially a helpless younger child, should be harmed in such a way. Not even Damon did.

And Elijah, who was already planning how to execute them and had tears in his eyes. "Do they still live?" Lily nodded her head when he questioned her. Usually he would not give in and stay strong for his family, but he was so shocked that his own daughter had been handled in such a manner. She would have lived like a princess if she grew up with him.

"Good, we're gonna kill them." Kol said.

"Why are they there anyway?" Bonnie questioned.

"Petunia was my sister. She had always been envious of me for being a witch, even though she doesn't want to admit that and she takes her frustration out on my son and Nora."

"But Dumbledore was right." Elijah heard Finn say, "she looks a lot like you already."Elijah smiled back at him, a wide sorrowful smile.

"How did they get the scar?" Klaus asked.

"Spell rebounded."

"I want everything to be perfect for my Dudley's special day!"

"Hurry up! Bring my coffee, boy."

"Yes, Uncle Vernon." Harry answered as Nora made a movement and grabbed the pan with eggs from her brother so he could prepare their uncle's coffee. Harry smiles thankfully at her.

"Aren't they wonderful, darling?" Petunia asked happily.

"How many are there?" Dudley eyes got big, not by how many there were, but how few there were. For sure, less than last year.

"36. Counted them myself." Vernon said proudly with an ugly smirk that Nora just wanted to wipe off his face.

"36? But last year- last year I had 37!" Dudley yelled in anger at his father, both Harry and Nora just rolled their eyes while putting the food down and pouring the coffee in a mug.

"Spoiled brat." Nora muttered under her breath, only heard by Harry who laughed quietly.

"But some of them are quite a bit bigger than last year's." Uncle Vernon explained quickly.

"I don't care how big they are!"

"Oh, now, now, now. This is what we're going to do is that when we go out, we're going to buy you two new presents. How's that, pumpkin?" Petunia asked, trying to calm her son down. While both Harry and Nora just gave their cousin a dirty look.

As they all went outside, Dudley still eating and their aunt speaking happily about the zoo, Harry and Nora got stopped by Vernon. Both were wearing too big clothes. "I'm warning you two now. Any funny business, any at all and you both won't have any meals for a week. Now, get in." So they did.

"He needs to get his filthy hands off my daughter." Elijah's voice was rough with rage as he spoke.

"Agreed. You can't just handle two kids like that. Boo." Caroline spoke, agreeing with the noble man. She really wished she had some popcorn to throw at the man's head on the screen or even better, tomatoes.

"I hope everyone in that house aside from Nora and Harry, falls down the stairs violently, catches fire and are tortured by someone until they beg for death." With a sour tone, Kol added a loud "hopefully me."

Once in the zoo they passed many animals. Giraffes, all kind of birds, crocodiles until they were stopped walking, standing in front of the glass, which had a snake behind it. "Make it move."

Uncle Vernon knocked on the glass, multiple times. "Move."

When the snake still didn't move, Dudley started yelling. "He's asleep!" Nora said angrily.

"He's boring." Their cousin spoke before walking away with his parents.

"Sorry about him." Harry apologized to the snake.

"He doesn't understand what it's like, lying there day after day." Nora went on.

"Watching people press their ugly faces in on you." As the snake winked at them after Harry finished speaking, their eyes got big.

"Can you hear us?" Nora asked. The snake nodded and Nora grabbed Harry's hand in happiness. Her childhood dream was coming through. Well, her second childhood wish to be fair. She could speak to animals.

"It's just, we've never talked to a snake before." Harry explained. "Do you-? I mean, do you talk to people often?" The snake shook his head. "You're from Burma, aren't you? Was it nice there? Do you miss your family?"

As the snake looked away from them, towards a sign they understood. "I see. That's us as well. We never knew our parents either." Harry spoke before getting interrupted by their cousin's yelling.

"Mummy, Dad, come here! You won't believe what this snake is doing!" He pushed both Nora and Harry to the floor. Nora on the bad side, ended up crashing hard against it with Harry on top of her and her arm with a wound, blood storming out of it.

When Harry saw her wound he got angry and started to imagine the glass falling away and the snake biting his cousin. To his luck, the glass indeed fell away and Dudley fell into the little pool with water, with the snake.

Nora, seeing this, begins to laugh loudly, Harry following, seeing her happy again. Hearing their cousin scream in fear when the snake got out.

He went over towards the two Potters and hissed thanks to them, even though it was all Harry's doing. "Anytime."

People around them started screaming seeing the loose snake as it made its way out of the zoo.

And Nora hoped the glass would return so Dudley would be stuck there forever. And her wish came true seeing him crying and yelling for his mother. "My darling boy!" Aunt Petunia cried out in fear and worry. "How did you get in there?"

Nora and Harry kept laughing but their uncle noticed so they stopped, fast , smiles disappearing from their faces, knowing how much trouble they were in.

"How did they do that?" Bonnie asked curiously on how they would do that without a spell. She wanted that kind of magic.

"The magic in our world is different from yours, in our world." Lily started. "we need a wand to perform magic, but you can learn wandless magic. This however is not 'professional' wandless magic, it's just their magic wanting to get out. But Nora has the magic of three different powerful bloodlines, imagine how strong she is later on in life. Two different types of magic, too."

"But how did they talk to the snake?" Rebekah asked, her younger self would be so happy being able to talk to animals.

"You will find out later, in their second year." Lily promised.

"But is it bad?" Kol asked, he was sad because this reminded him of his own magic which he didn't have anymore. He was still proud of his niece for being such a powerful witch, though.

"Sorry, I can't tell you. You'll see."

He grabbed both Harry and Nora, with their hair, tilting it back. "What happened?"

"We swear, we don't know." Harry yelled back. Their uncle started growling. "One minute the glass was there and then it was gone, it was like magic."

Vernon pushed them both into their cupboard, locked it and spoke. "There's no such thing as magic." He had a disgusted look on his face.

They both laid down on the bed, not having much to do in there. Nora closer to the back and Harry closest to the door. It was like normal kids who would choose their own side in the car. Nora had always been afraid that their uncle would suddenly in the middle night sneak in and give one of them a beating. So, Harry wanting to protect her had always been laying right next to the door since they were five.

"It will be okay, Nora, I promise you."

"And I promise you. But seriously did he literally just growl as us, like a dog?" The girl scoffed a bit.

Harry let out a laugh, Nora always made him feel better. Nora was all he needed in life.

Both were happy to have each other. Even though they weren't biological brothers and sisters, they felt like they were. Both would do anything to protect the other one.

Nora and Harry knew they were cousins from a very young age, they had seen Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon, arguing in the kitchen about it. Uncle Vernon saying he didn't want to take care of her, because she wasn't family and Petunia saying they had because someone made them.

Until this day, they still didn't know who that person was. They just knew that Harry's dad had a younger sister who is the mother of Nora and that she died in the car accident with his parents. She didn't know anything about her father. But Nora really hoped he was still alive and would just one day step in here, take them and never return to the Dursley's.

"How does she not know about Sirius?" Stefan asked, confused.

"On Halloween Dumbledore left them at their door with  a letter and some information. Because Harry is Nora's only family, he left her with him." Lily answered. "I still don't understand why they couldn't stay with Remus, even despite his condition." She spoke the last part softly, but of course the vampires in the room had heard her.

"What condition?" Rebekah asked, but Lily didn't answer.
