Nami's POV
"This is nice, Luffy."
I mumbled.
We were standing at least halfway up the hill, looking at the big view of the island.
Looking towards my direction, he holds me close by the waist, taking me by surprise.
"Yeah! But you wanna see something even better?"
Luffy asks me, with a big grin.
"Sur-oh!"
He then picked me up, over his shoulder quickly. Dashing to the top of the hill.
"Wo-ohh!"
I shouted, feeling how fast Luffy was running.
He eventually stopped, panting out of his mind.
"We're here."
He said before setting me down.
Looking, in front of us looked like curtains but instead of fabric, it was long skinny leafs, maybe covering something.
"Uhm, is this what you wanted to show me."
I confusingly asked, looking at Luffy.
He then turned to me.
"Oh! Right!"
Luffy then went up to it, slowly moving the long pieces of leaves out of the way, to reveal something more beautiful.
Inside was a waterfall in the back with the ground just being covered with grass and the walls were big rocks, covering us from the sides.
The sun in the sky above.
I was at a lost for words and it took Luffy to take my hand to snap me out my daze.
"W-Wow."
That's all I could say, again I was at a lost for words.
Going inside, there were steps made of rock,
vines at the ends.
Luffy led me to a spot more in the side.
And surprisingly me even more, there was a picnic set up.
A red and white checkered cloth under with baskets of food and treats.
"Oh my god, Luffy, this is amazing."
I announced, walking to the set up and sitting down.
Sitting down next to me, Luffy chuckled with a hint of blush on his cheeks.
"Shishishi~ you like it?"
I started to nod quickly with a big smile on my face.
"Yes, you're so sweet!"
I then jumped into his arms.
There's that beautiful smile, my girl...
"Let's eat!"
Luffy exclaimed.
"Yeah!"
I replied.

After eating, we started to walk down the hill, Luffy's arm over my shoulder.
He then kissed my forehead which made me blush madly again.
"Earlier.."
Luffy started.
"Yeah?"
I answered.
"You looked so sad, sitting there in the beach chair all alone."
I widened my eyes, but then I started to laugh and stopped walking.
Turning to him.
"What?"
He asked, sweat dropped.
"Luffy, is that why you prepared this date??"
I asked between laughs.
"Yeah..?"
"Luffy, I was bored out of my mind, I wasn't sad!"
"Ooooh, well did you like it anyway?"
He asked with a sweet smile.
I smiled back, coming up to him, and pecking him on the lips again.
"Yes, I'm very happy."
Standing there, he then pecked me on the lips himself.
We stared at each other for a little while before Luffy suddenly threw me over his shoulder again.
"Got ya!"
He then started to running down the hill, which was in fact very fast because of gravity.
"Wo-ah, Luffy!"
I shouted through the blowing winds.
"Slow d-down!"

After all of that, we finally made it to bottom.
And my eye was twitching with irriatation.
"Luffy.."
I growled.
"Yeah, what's u-OW!"
I punched him in the head.
"Don't just run down the hill like that! We could've fell!"
I shouted, fire in my eyes.
I softened when Luffy pouted.
So cute...can't stay mad
"U-Uhm, just don't it again, alright?"
I stuttered, pecking him on the lips and looking away.
I saw him smile, and I that made me smile.
"Let's go."
Luffy nodded as he put my arm around my shoulder again.
Walking down the streets again, suddenly Luffy stopped in his tracks.
I hummed in confusion as I looked back.
"Luffy, what's wrong?"
I saw him looking at what seemed like a poster of some sort.
On the poster, it said that all citizens or visitors may attend the mayor's party. It was to celebrate his daughter's birthday.
"Hmm, interesting."
"Cool! Let's go to it!"
Luffy exclaimed.
I shook my head, making Luffy pout.
"We don't know this mayor, it could just be a trap."
I reminded.
"It's not a trap, I'm sure, look around."
I tilted my head, turning to my surroundings, in which I saw citizens of the island talking amongst themselves holding the poster.
"Let's just go! It'll be fun!"
*sighs*
"Okay..."
"Yes!"
"Woah, woah, we have to buy something to wear, you cannot be looking like that."
I told, shaking my head.
"Heyyy, I like this outfit."
I just giggled.
"Come on, come on."
Dragging him away, I saw a clothing store up ahead.
I smiled as I picked up my pace.

"Okay, now, this one or this one?"
I asked, putting up the suits to Luffy's body.
"Uhm, I don't really know, Nami."
He replied, with a unfazed expression.
I growled.
"Pick one or I pick."
"Oh wait, yeah! You pick! You know how to dress sooo pick for me!"
I blushed at the sudden compliment.
Looking away from his gaze.
"Th-thanks, come on, let's go to that section."
I dragged him away again.

"Okay now, I picked out three different suits for you, try them on each and show me before putting on the next one, I'll be waiting on the bench outside of the dressing door."
I told him, putting a pile of suits in his arms.
"Go now, go!"
I shouted, pushing him to the dressing rooms.

Waiting outside of the dressing door Luffy was in, I tapped my heal against the tile floor.
"I'm ready, Nami."
Luffy echoed.
"Okay now, come on out."
I replied, crossing my legs.
Walking out, I slowly looked at him up and down, judging the suit.
The suit was a white suit, with black undershirt and a white tie.
In a way, I liked it but just no.
"No."
I simply said.
"What do you mean no?"
He asked, dusting off the suit.
"Try on another suit, this one is not the one."
I explained.
I heard him grumble under his breath as he walked into the dressing room again.

"Ready!"
He echoes.
"Alright, then, come on."
Walking out again, I looked at the suit squinting my eyes.
The suit was blue while the undershirt was white and the tie was black.
Putting my finger to my chin, I hummed, thinking.
"Mm, mm, nope change."
"But Namiii, I kind of like it."
He whined.
"I don't, and we have to match-huh?"
At that moment, the bell on the door of the store rung, signaling someone has come in.
"Guys?"
The crew was in the store, waving at us.
As they walked closer, I got up.
"Hey, guys, what's going on?"
I smiled.
"Oh just we heard that there was some kind of party and we wanted to look presentable."
Usopp told me as everyone else nodded.
"Oh! Okay, but how did you find us?"
"We asked this one old lady who was sitting on a bench nearby and she said that you guys went in here, so."
I hummed but then I pointed at the dressing room, Luffy was changing in.
"Oh and Luffy is showing me some suits I picked out for him, Luffy! The crew is here!"
I yelled.
"Oh! Hey guys! What's up!"
He yelled back.
"Hey, Luffy! We're here to shop for some clothes for the party later!"
Chopper explained, jumping up and down cutely.
"Sounds good! We'll see you when we're done then!"
"Yeah, okay, we're gonna be on the other side of the store so just call us if need us, especially you Nami - Swannnnn!"
Sanji assured, swirling around his body in a flirty way, hearts in his eyes.
Me and crew sweatdropped as Usopp dragged away flirty Sanji, and I waved to them.

"Alright, Luffy, you ready?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay come on out."
Walking out once more, I took a glimpse of what he was wearing. I felt my cheeks go hot as I stared at the suit which perfectly compilmented his figure and complexion.
The suit was a black one with a white undershirt and a black tie.
( I know I know kinda basic but I literally don't know any other suit ideas that are better )
I cleared my throat.
"U-Uhm, hold on."
I said, as I got up and walked towards him.
Going up to him, I avoided eye contact at all costs. Undoing his tie, I took it off of him.
"Th-There, much better."
I babbled, dusting off the suit
"We'll match, that black dress will match this."
My cheeks still felt hot and it was getting harder and harder to avoid his gaze.
"Good, that's good, uhm why aren't you looking at me?"
He asked, confused.
"Oh, just uhm no reason..."
I replied, moving a hair behind my ear.
"Let-let's get this suit, the party's in a few hours-woah!"
Luffy suddenly pulled me in by the waist, a blank expression on his face, which turned into a smirk when he saw my surprised face.
We made eye contact, I think my nose was bleeding.
"You're realllyyy cute when you're vulnerable like this."
He suddenly said.
I blushed, my eyebrows knitted together.
"Sh-Shut up, I just really like the suit on you."
I whined, trying to get out his grasp.
"Hmph."
He then kissed me on the lips passionately.
I returned the gesture, holding him by the neck.
As it deepened, I realized that we were literally in a clothing store.
"Mmh! W-Wait!"
I stuttered, pulling from the kiss.
"Look where we are, the crew is literally over there, and we have to get ready for the party."
I reminded, getting out of his grasp.
He pouted, pulling me back in and suddenly whispering in my ear.
"Later?"
"L-Later."
I repeated, nodding.
Dragging him away to the front.
